# What platform provides detailed vulnerability reporting and analytics?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Vulnerability Scanning is one thing, but the real challenge I’m running into is <strong>reporting and analytics</strong>. Leadership also wants dashboards, compliance teams need audit-ready reports, and security needs actionable insights, not just a list of CVEs or updates. So, we're looking to switch and I’m curious to know which <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/vulnerability-scanner">platforms</a> actually deliver strong reporting and analytics on top of vulnerability data.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">From the G2 grid data, here are the ones that stand out:</p><ul>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/wiz-wiz/reviews"><strong>Wiz</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Cloud-native with strong visualization and dashboards that give execs and security teams clear visibility.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/orca-security/reviews"><strong>Orca Security</strong></a><strong>: </strong>Agentless scanning plus solid reporting, good for cloud-heavy orgs that need quick, high-level insights.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/tenable-nessus/reviews"><strong>Tenable Nessus</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Reliable scanning with customizable reports, though its analytics can feel more traditional compared to newer tools.</li>

<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/sysdig-sysdig-secure/reviews"><strong>Sysdig Secure</strong></a><strong>: </strong>Tailored for container/Kubernetes environments with runtime insights and security analytics.</li>
<li>
<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/hackerone-hackerone-platform/reviews"><strong>HackerOne Platform</strong></a><strong>:</strong> Not a scanner per se, but provides detailed reporting around bug bounty submissions and vulnerability trends from real-world testing.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Other names I keep hearing when it comes to reporting depth are <strong>Qualys, Rapid7 InsightVM, and CrowdStrike Falcon Spotlight</strong>.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">For folks here, which tools have given you <strong>reports that actually satisfy both security teams and auditors</strong>? Do you rely on built-in dashboards, or always end up exporting everything into spreadsheets and BI tools anyway?</p>

&lt;p&gt;I’m also curious, when it comes to reporting, what ends up being more valuable in practice: compliance-focused reports that keep auditors happy, or deeper security analytics that help the team prioritize and act faster?&lt;/p&gt;
