What do you like best about Paylocity?

Our organization uses Paylocity as our main HR and payroll platform for all employees. We rely on it for payroll processing, time and attendance tracking, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee self-service. Changing over from ADP to Paylocity was a long process, but the transition went smoothly and the system has been very easy to navigate.

Paylocity helps us streamline many of our HR functions in one place — from processing payroll accurately and on time to keeping employee data organized and accessible. The self-service features have reduced the amount of manual work for HR and allowed employees to manage their own information easily. Overall, our experience with Paylocity has been excellent, and it has made day-to-day HR and payroll management much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have a deep appreciation for Paylocity's organized migration plan, which made the transition seamless and not difficult for us. It effectively solved significant issues we had with our previous provider, such as tax problems and unsatisfactory customer service. I'm impressed with the superior reporting capabilities Paylocity offers, which stand out compared to other systems we've evaluated. The mobile app is notably better and more functional, enhancing usability for our team. Features like recruiting, onboarding, and time and labor management are outstanding, with performance management being very good. The reliability, accuracy, and intuitiveness of the system make it user-friendly, especially the benefits module, which I find particularly strong and easy to manage for our staff. Additionally, the competitive pricing and much better customer support compared to previous providers are noteworthy. I find it challenging that the benefits module in Paylocity is treated almost completely separate from HRIS and payroll. This separation can create inefficiencies, as I would prefer these functionalities to be more integrated. Additionally, the support is separated between benefits and the rest of the system, which sometimes makes it less helpful. The Paylocity platform has been outstanding; it has significantly improved efficiency within our HRIS process with the workflows, data insights, and reduced paper-based tasks with the onboarding and recruiting modules. We attempted to use other platforms and ended up coming back to Paylocity, it was truly the best HRIS for our company's needs. From consultation to development and implementation,and going live, the process was easy to follow. In addition, it is an easy platform that has supported our employees for self-service needs. What do you like best about Paylocity?

The product is very easy to use. I have had zero issues with the site being down and the employees really enjoy the app experience (it is only one app ... unlike competitors where we used to have to deal with "you downloaded the wrong XYZ app").

I am in the product every day almost all day. It really is refreshing to not have to deal with site connectivity issues. The implementation was very smooth. Honestly one of the 1st implementations where the vendor actually did the bulk of the work. I am use to getting a lot of data myself and converting. Paylocity took care of most of that for me!

My customer support rep is quick to respond. In the event they are not available, Paylocity's support model allows for other members of my reps team to step in.

We use the API functionality for in house system integration and I find their SFTP process very easy to use (for those vendors that still requite it!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paylocity?

While still a great experience, I wish the reporting writer tool was a bit more configurable. I am use to writing within SQL and am familiar more with those sort of reporting tools. The screens are user friendly and once you learn the ins and outs of the system it is easy to navigate as a manager and/or an administrator. Paylocity was definitely an upgrade from our prior HRIS. It is easy to get assistance when you call into to their support line. They also make the open enrollment process easy by partnering you with a benefits specialist. What do you like best about Paylocity?

The Paylocity platform is user-friendly and straightforward to navigate. We started with Paylocity over 10 years ago with a very smooth implementation process. Our team was exceptional to work with. We utilize the Time and Attendance feature on a daily basis, which has been especially helpful for our managers and employees by streamlining processes, while the HR and Payroll module has made bi-weekly payroll processing much simpler. The system offers a wide range of reporting options, allowing us to generate reports automatically or on demand. We have also implemented the Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, and Compensation modules, all of which have contributed to greater efficiency in managing recruitment, onboarding, and employee performance. When needed, we are able to reach out to our account manager or customer service for support questions. We not always get the same dedicated person but one that is knowledgeable to help us with questions. Paylocity stands out as an innovative company that continually seeks new ways to support HR professionals in retaining and engaging employees.
