What do you like best about DualEntry?
DualEntry is very accessible and has a beginner-friendly interface. It’s simple enough that even those who aren’t tech-savvy, including older users, can learn it quickly. I really appreciate the automatic currency conversion feature—it’s a convenient, time-saving tool that adds to the platform’s ease of use.
One standout feature is the efficient search bar, which eliminates the need to click through multiple tabs—you can quickly find what you’re looking for just by typing a keyword.
I’m also impressed with DualEntry’s integrations. It works smoothly with other tools, such as BambooHR, SalesForce, and banks, which makes it easy to sync data across platforms and maintain consistency in records. This seamless integration really enhances workflow efficiency and reduces the need for manual input.
I find myself using DualEntry on a daily basis—it has become an essential part of my workflow. Its intuitive design and time-saving features make it easy to rely on regularly, especially for managing financial records, tracking transactions, and generating reports. Because it's so efficient and accessible, it naturally integrates into my day-to-day accounting tasks without feeling like a chore.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with how easy it was to implement DualEntry—it saved us time and allowed our team to focus more on productivity rather than troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about DualEntry?
Some key customer details, such as contact information and address, are not marked as required fields in the database, which could lead to incomplete or inconsistent records. I also encountered a "404 Error" when attempting to create a new resource allocation template, which prevented me from proceeding.
In terms of functionality, I believe it would be more efficient if customer prepayments and their applications were combined into a single tab—with an additional column at the end of the table for the application—rather than separating them. This would make the process more intuitive and streamlined.
As someone primarily focused on tax, I noticed that the tax setup tab is still under development, as indicated by an error message. In my view, this feature should not have been launched until it was fully ready, to avoid confusion or reliance on an incomplete tool.
Another limitation is that the currently supported or integrated banks do not include any from the Philippines, which significantly impacts usability for users based in the region.
Lastly, While DualEntry offers a range of useful features, one area that needs significant improvement is customer support. Aside from email, there are no readily available support channels such as live chat or phone assistance, which can be frustrating when urgent issues arise.
I found it difficult to locate help within the platform itself—there’s no clear support center or easily accessible FAQ section. Response times via email can also be slow, which delays resolution and disrupts workflow.
For a tool handling critical financial data, accessible and responsive support is essential. I hope the team invests in expanding support options to better assist users in a timely and efficient manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
