What I like most about DualEntry is how much smoother it makes my workflow. I used to spend way too much time double-checking entries between different systems, but now everything stays perfectly in sync. What I like is the built-in checks. Every entry has a match, so it’s harder to miss something or let an error slip through. Using dualentry is good however, you still need to understand the basic fundamentals of accounting to know deeper whether the transaction is unusual or messy. DualEntry just made sense right out of the gate. It connected with the systems we already use, and the setup didn’t slow anyone down. Pulling in HR data for expense mapping has saved us a lot of back-and-forth, and the AP tool basically runs itself. Less friction, fewer errors, and a faster close every month. Having  frequently used Dual entry for every day finance and accounting tasks,  I would recommend it for every organization irrespective of the industry.The software is 100% user-friendly and requires no training for the user,even someone without a deep accounting background can understand the tool easily.  Implementation is straightforward with no complicated setup.

Being cloud based,one can access from anywhere,which is convenient for remote work and collaboration.  It also covers essential accounting features with an organized design and layout making it easy to access core functions. let's not forget the real time update it provides, the dashboard overview is awesome and impressive.

In the course of using DualEntry accounting software, I have come to observe some key features that seem to be missing such as lack of reference details in JE for easy tracking,No icon to easily switch between different screens, no quick option to create new customer from the dropdown when creating invoice,tax code flexibility missing,check management needs improvements,reconciliation matching,allocation feature gaps,no quick option to dispose a fixed asset from the asset overview screen. What I like is that it really does have everything in one place. Feels fast and straightforward to use. I don’t have to go hunting through other tools to find what I need. Support’s been quick when I’ve reached out, which is a plus. We added multiple users without a problem, and migration of our old files was smoother than I expected. I showed my older coworker and she’s not an acountant. She thought it was gonna be hard but it was simple. She learned it fast.

What I really like about DualEntry is the reporting. It’s AI-based, which you don’t usually see with ERP tools. I just type what I need, filters, multiple data points, whatever, and it spits out exactly the right report.

The Copilot’s solid too. You can throw questions at it and it replies like someone who actually knows accounting. Super useful if you’re new, but even if you’re not, it still helps you get more out of the platform.

Also, it works flawlessly with my HubSpot data. Setup was quick, sync is fast, and I haven’t hit a single issue. I rely on HubSpot daily, so having all that flow into DualEntry saves a ridiculous amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DualEntry’s solid overall, but the filters could use some work. It’d be great if it remembered what you picked when you switch tabs. Right now, if I filter invoices by company, then jump to another tab, the filter clears and everything comes back it slows things down, especially if you're working through a big list. It covers everything from double-entry bookkeeping and customizable chart of accounts to automated bank feeds, real-time reporting, and tax compliance tools. I particularly appreciate the multi-currency support and the detailed audit trail, which are often lacking in similarly priced solutions. While DualEntry is overall an excellent accounting solution, one area where there’s slight room for improvement is the initial learning curve for advanced features. The basic functionality is very intuitive, but some of the more complex tools—like custom reporting or advanced automation rules—take a bit of exploring to fully understand.
