**What do you like best about DualEntry?**

What I like most about DualEntry is how much smoother it makes my workflow. I used to spend way too much time double-checking entries between different systems, but now everything stays perfectly in sync. The interface is clean and easy to understand, so I don’t feel overwhelmed trying to find what I need. I also like that it’s fast. Changes show up instantly, and I can trust that the data is accurate. It just makes things run more smoothly and saves me a lot of time and stress.

**What do you dislike about DualEntry?**

There isn’t much to complain about, though I have noticed that loading larger datasets can occasionally take a bit of time, but that's normal for any software!

**What problems is DualEntry solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DualEntry helps us keep our project and financial records consistent between different systems. Before using it, we had to manually enter the same data in multiple places, which often led to errors or missing information. Now, everything updates automatically, so our job costs, invoices, and reports stay accurate and up to date. It saves us a lot of time and helps us avoid confusion between the office and the field. Overall, it’s made our workflow smoother and a lot more reliable.

**What do you like best about DualEntry?**

What I like is the built-in checks. Every entry has a match, so it’s harder to miss something or let an error slip through. It feels like a safety net and you worries to have errors in entries reduces. While you are multi-tasking, Dualentry gives way to have more time in other task. 1The debit = credit rule is basic but it keeps everything lined up. 

**What do you dislike about DualEntry?**

Using dualentry is good however, you still need to understand the basic fundamentals of accounting to know deeper whether the transaction is unusual or messy. It can be overwhelming if you don't have a little background in accounting. One small mistake can throw everything off, which is frustrating when you just want to move fast.

**What problems is DualEntry solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dual-entry accounting solves a couple of major problems that really elevate financial record-keeping. Here’s how I see it:

- Prevents Errors and Fraud: By recording each transaction twice, once as a debit and once as a credit, it ensures that the books stay balanced. If something doesn’t match up, it’s an immediate red flag, which helps catch mistakes or fraudulent activity early. For me, the biggest benefit is that it’s an automatic check on accuracy.

- Ensures Complete and Accurate Financial Picture: Dual-entry doesn’t just record numbers; it tells a story about how money flows in and out of an organization. It’s about understanding the full picture—every asset, liability, income, and expense is captured in relation to each other. This creates a more transparent, holistic view of the financial health of a business. For me, this kind of clarity is really valuable, especially if you're managing large or complex accounts.

- Eases Financial Reporting and Compliance: With everything balanced and accounted for, creating financial statements (like balance sheets or profit and loss statements) becomes more straightforward. It’s much easier to follow audit trails, prepare tax documents, or share financial reports with stakeholders. For me, that means less stress when it comes time for reporting or compliance.

- Supports Decision-Making: Accurate financial data is key for making informed business decisions. When you have a solid foundation of dual-entry data, you can trust the numbers more, which can lead to better, more confident business strategies.

DualEntry just made sense right out of the gate. It connected with the systems we already use, and the setup didn’t slow anyone down. Pulling in HR data for expense mapping has saved us a lot of back-and-forth, and the AP tool basically runs itself. Less friction, fewer errors, and a faster close every month.

**What do you dislike about DualEntry?**

Only thing I’d add is a short guided tour for people logging in for the first time.

**What problems is DualEntry solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a daily user, DualEntry helps simplify my work and makes our processes more efficient. One of the biggest problems it solves is the confusion and back-and-forth in handling journal entries. Before, we had to rely on spreadsheets and email approvals, which made it easy to lose track of updates or make errors. Now, everything is in one place and easier to monitor. It also reduces repetitive tasks. DualEntry automatically suggests entries and allows bulk actions, which helps me avoid manual data entry. This saves a lot of time and lowers the risk of errors. Another benefit is how easy it is to collaborate with other teams. Approvals are faster and clearer, and any questions or changes are easy to track in the system. I feel more confident in the accuracy of our reports and less stressed during cutoff deadlines.

What I like is that it really does have everything in one place. Feels fast and straightforward to use. I don’t have to go hunting through other tools to find what I need. Support’s been quick when I’ve reached out, which is a plus. We added multiple users without a problem, and migration of our old files was smoother than I expected.


**What do you dislike about DualEntry?**

The biggest downside is cost. It’s a bigger investment than some of the lighter systems out there.

DualEntry solves the problem of manual, time-consuming accounting processes by automating tasks and providing real-time access to financial data. Before, we had to input everything manually, which often led to delays, errors, and difficulty in tracking transactions. Now, with DualEntry, tasks like recording transactions, generating reports, and doing bank reconciliations are done much faster and more accurately. The system streamlines everything—from file migration to day-to-day operations—saving us time and reducing the risk of errors. What I like most about DualEntry is how much easier it makes reconciliation. As a finance lead handling multiple accounts, I used to spend a lot of time on manual reconciliation, and errors were hard to avoid. With DualEntry, transactions are matched automatically and any discrepancies are clearly highlighted, which saves me hours at month-end and improves the accuracy of our reports. The interface is simple to use, and the automation fits seamlessly into our daily workflow, making it a tool we can really rely on

DualEntry has saved me a lot of time, but I think it could be even better with more built-in tips or keyboard shortcuts for frequent tasks. I spend hours working in financial platforms, and even small efficiencies—like quick access keys or smart suggestions when entering journal entries make a big difference. The platform is already intuitive, but adding a few in-app prompts or shortcuts would really take the user experience up a notch, especially for finance teams working under tight deadlines.

DualEntry is solving one of the biggest pain points in finance which is manual, disconnected workflows across tools.
By integrating natively with our existing finance stack, it eliminates the need to jump between platforms or
constantly export/import data. Whether it's syncing with QuickBooks or pulling in data from expense platforms, it
creates a single source of truth we can rely on. This has reduced errors, saved countless hours during reconciliations
and month-end close, and given our team more time to focus on strategic analysis instead of repetitive admin work.

I showed my older coworker and she’s not an acountant. She thought it was gonna be hard but it was simple. She learned it fast.
It works with stuff like Gusto. Payroll comes in on its own, no typing everything. Fewer mistakes, less headake.

Could use more ways to change things for how we work. Some little tips on screen would help new people alot.

**What do you like best about DualEntry?**

What I really like about DualEntry is the reporting. It’s AI-based, which you don’t usually see with ERP tools. I just type what I need, filters, multiple data points, whatever, and it spits out exactly the right report.

The Copilot’s solid too. You can throw questions at it and it replies like someone who actually knows accounting. Super useful if you’re new, but even if you’re not, it still helps you get more out of the platform.

Also, it works flawlessly with my HubSpot data. Setup was quick, sync is fast, and I haven’t hit a single issue. I rely on HubSpot daily, so having all that flow into DualEntry saves a ridiculous amount of time.

**What do you dislike about DualEntry?**

DualEntry’s solid overall, but the filters could use some work. It’d be great if it remembered what you picked when you switch tabs. Right now, if I filter invoices by company, then jump to another tab, the filter clears and everything comes back it slows things down, especially if you're working through a big list.

**What problems is DualEntry solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DualEntry really cuts down the hassle of manual reporting. Instead of spending hours pulling data and double-checking for mistakes, I just type in what I need and it gives me the report right away—even when I’m working with a lot of data points.

The HubSpot integration has been smooth too. Everything syncs quickly and I don’t have to worry about moving data over manually, which is a big time-saver since I rely on HubSpot every day.

I’ve also found the Copilot super helpful. It gives clear, accounting-level guidance that works whether you’re just getting started or already comfortable with the system.

Altogether, it’s saved me a ton of time, made my reports more accurate, and made managing large datasets much easier.

One of the first things I noticed was how user-friendly the interface is. Even if you're not a trained accountant, DualEntry makes navigating through financial data simple. The dashboard is clean, with clear menus and logical workflows that make tasks like invoicing, reconciling accounts, and generating reports straightforward. DualEntry is packed with functionality. It covers everything from double-entry bookkeeping and customizable chart of accounts to automated bank feeds, real-time reporting, and tax compliance tools. I particularly appreciate the multi-currency support and the detailed audit trail, which are often lacking in similarly priced solutions. And you can link right about any tools like BambooHR, HubSpot & many more for ease of use.

**What do you dislike about DualEntry?**

While DualEntry is overall an excellent accounting solution, one area where there’s slight room for improvement is the initial learning curve for advanced features. The basic functionality is very intuitive, but some of the more complex tools—like custom reporting or advanced automation rules—take a bit of exploring to fully understand.

That said, once you get the hang of it (helped by their solid documentation and support), those features become powerful assets. It’s a minor bump in an otherwise smooth experience—and one that’s common in any robust accounting software.

A new thing I like about DualEntry is that it works well with other tools we use, so I don’t have to enter the same information twice. The reports are better now, too, which helps me understand our finances more easily and make good decisions faster. These updates make managing accounts even easier.

**What do you dislike about DualEntry?**

One thing DualEntry could improve is offering more ways to customize things. For example, it would be great if I could change reports or categories to fit my needs better. More options like this would make it easier to use for different types of businesses.
