What I like most about Rippling is the customer service and the platform itself. It's a close tie. The platform is very easy to use, and the icons are great, making it pretty self-explanatory. I was able to teach myself a lot of it. On top of this, the customer service has been amazing. I love that there is a question mark that lets you ask a chatbot at any time, day or night, and you get an automatic answer. It even leads you to video links on how to do something. If that doesn't work, it also gives me the option to talk to a live person through a Zoom call. The customer service aspect is outstanding, especially my benefits adviser or account manager and my Rippling account manager, who have been phenomenal in responding and answering any of my questions very timely. Another service that I found I really liked is the splitting up the billing option. I recently added a new bank account, and with that I was able to very easily connect and split my payments between different accounts. What stood out most to me about Connecteam was how well it centralized day-to-day workforce coordination into a single mobile-first platform. In operational environments where scheduling, attendance tracking, task assignments, communication, and field coordination happen simultaneously, switching between separate tools creates unnecessary delays and confusion.
The scheduling and time-tracking features were especially useful because they reduced a lot of manual coordination work. Instead of managing shifts through spreadsheets, calls, or messaging apps, schedules, updates, approvals, and attendance tracking stayed organized inside one system. That improved visibility significantly during busy operational periods.I also liked the mobile-first design. Employees could quickly check schedules, submit forms, respond to updates, and track work hours directly from their phones without needing constant supervision or additional software.
Another strong feature was the task-management workflow. Assigning tasks, monitoring completion status, and tracking field activities became much easier compared to relying on scattered communication channels. The checklist and forms functionality was also practical for operational reporting and process standardization.
The AI-assisted scheduling and communication features were unexpectedly useful as well. Automated scheduling suggestions, AI-generated updates, and speech-to-text workflows reduced repetitive administrative effort and sped up routine coordination tasks.

BambooHR gives me strong visibility into my team and the organization as a whole. I can quickly see who's on vacation, track upcoming work anniversaries, and understand the company structure at a glance. That makes planning around availability much easier and helps me stay connected to my colleagues.
The workflows are a real strength. They keep our processes organized and consistent so nothing slips through the cracks, and the centralized information storage keeps everything I need in one reliable place. It's also genuinely easy to use and makes collaborating with teammates simple, with very little learning curve.
I also appreciate the wide range of integrations available. Having so many options makes it easier to fit BambooHR into our existing toolset.
Performance is generally fine, but we do run into occasional problems that interrupt the experience. Support is another mixed point: the team responds quickly, which I appreciate, but they haven't always been able to actually resolve the issues we bring to them.
I'm not in a position to speak to pricing or overall value for money, since that side of the account isn't visible to me in my day-to-day role. I'd encourage anyone evaluating BambooHR to request a detailed quote and confirm exactly what's included in each tier, since my view of the platform is purely from a hands-on user perspective rather than a budget or procurement one.
I also haven't used any of BambooHR's AI features yet, so I can't speak to how well they perform or how much value they add. This is an area I'm interested in exploring, but for now I have no first-hand experience to share, and I'd rather be upfront about that than overstate what I know.
