What do you like best about Rippling?

What I like most about Rippling is the customer service and the platform itself. It's a close tie. The platform is very easy to use, and the icons are great, making it pretty self-explanatory. I was able to teach myself a lot of it. On top of this, the customer service has been amazing. I love that there is a question mark that lets you ask a chatbot at any time, day or night, and you get an automatic answer. It even leads you to video links on how to do something. If that doesn't work, it also gives me the option to talk to a live person through a Zoom call. The customer service aspect is outstanding, especially my benefits adviser or account manager and my Rippling account manager, who have been phenomenal in responding and answering any of my questions very timely. What do you dislike about Rippling?

What do you like best about Gusto?

Another service that I found I really liked is the splitting up the billing option. I recently added a new bank account, and with that I was able to very easily connect and split my payments between different accounts. What do you dislike about Gusto?

One thing I'd like to know is that they did fix the issue with the Google login. One thing I would like improved would be seeing the pay time off that was accepted, declined, or pending a little bit more clearly. To me, it's not super intuitive. Monday.com provides visual dashboards that provide a clear overview of tasks, deadlines, and progress, ensuring everyone stays aligned. I can easily check on progress on a project without having to wait for an update from the Project Manager. I can quickly view our accounts payable, pull up invoices and problem solve with our customers, again without having to wait for input from acccounting. What do you like best about Connecteam?

What stood out most to me about Connecteam was how well it centralized day-to-day workforce coordination into a single mobile-first platform. In operational environments where scheduling, attendance tracking, task assignments, communication, and field coordination happen simultaneously, switching between separate tools creates unnecessary delays and confusion.

The scheduling and time-tracking features were especially useful because they reduced a lot of manual coordination work. Instead of managing shifts through spreadsheets, calls, or messaging apps, schedules, updates, approvals, and attendance tracking stayed organized inside one system. That improved visibility significantly during busy operational periods.I also liked the mobile-first design. Employees could quickly check schedules, submit forms, respond to updates, and track work hours directly from their phones without needing constant supervision or additional software.

Another strong feature was the task-management workflow. Assigning tasks, monitoring completion status, and tracking field activities became much easier compared to relying on scattered communication channels. The checklist and forms functionality was also practical for operational reporting and process standardization.

The AI-assisted scheduling and communication features were unexpectedly useful as well. Automated scheduling suggestions, AI-generated updates, and speech-to-text workflows reduced repetitive administrative effort and sped up routine coordination tasks.

It helps me keep my daily work more organized and properly managed without making things complicated. I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist and also create health education content for social media, so I use it for managing wellness content tasks, patient follow-up work, and checking how much time is spent on different activities during the day.

The time tracking and to-do management features are very useful in my regular workflow because they help me stay focused while handling multiple health-related tasks together. I also like that project tracking, activity monitoring, reports, and productivity insights are available in one place, so it becomes easier to manage routine clinic work and content planning work side by side. The dashboard feels clean and easy to understand even for daily use.

Setup was also simple for me and the implementation process did not take much time. I liked that it supports integrations and different tracking options, which makes work management more flexible. What do you like best about Deel Payroll?

I use Deel Payroll mainly to receive payments. What I really like about Deel Payroll is how quick and easy it is to use. It's as quick as a couple of minutes for the payment I receive to be transferred to the Deel card, and I can use it instantly as a contactless payment option. What do you dislike about Deel Payroll?

The commission that they charge to withdraw my funds to my bank account is about 16%. That is incredibly high. I'd like to withdraw the funds to one of my bank accounts which gives me interests, but 16% is too much so I just keep it in the Deel card. I was disappointed to find that when I went to look art prior month's pay, it still displayed the amount of hours of the current month. That was initially confusing.

As I stated before, what bothers me the most is that i am unable to label each line in some way. I would be delighted if I were able to put two initials to designate with whom I had spent that hour. Its most impressive advantage is the well-built Germany-oriented payroll and compliance functionality. The platform is pre-calibrated to follow latest German labor regulations, it accurately applies official tax classes, calculates all mandatory social security contributions and various statutory deductions, and generates fully legally compliant local payslips effortlessly. It also facilitates official tax and social authority reporting, which drastically cuts down our monthly payroll workload and minimizes manual calculation faults and compliance risks. Apart from payroll, automated onboarding, attendance tracking and employee self-service modules greatly lighten our repetitive administrative burdens. The platform still falls short in deep German local scenario adaptation. In addition, setting up advanced configurations such as customized local payroll rules and GDPR-based layered employee data access permissions is quite intricate. What do you like best about BambooHR?

BambooHR gives me strong visibility into my team and the organization as a whole. I can quickly see who's on vacation, track upcoming work anniversaries, and understand the company structure at a glance. That makes planning around availability much easier and helps me stay connected to my colleagues.

The workflows are a real strength. They keep our processes organized and consistent so nothing slips through the cracks, and the centralized information storage keeps everything I need in one reliable place. It's also genuinely easy to use and makes collaborating with teammates simple, with very little learning curve.

I also appreciate the wide range of integrations available. Having so many options makes it easier to fit BambooHR into our existing toolset.

Performance is generally fine, but we do run into occasional problems that interrupt the experience. Support is another mixed point: the team responds quickly, which I appreciate, but they haven't always been able to actually resolve the issues we bring to them.

I'm not in a position to speak to pricing or overall value for money, since that side of the account isn't visible to me in my day-to-day role. I'd encourage anyone evaluating BambooHR to request a detailed quote and confirm exactly what's included in each tier, since my view of the platform is purely from a hands-on user perspective rather than a budget or procurement one.

I also haven't used any of BambooHR's AI features yet, so I can't speak to how well they perform or how much value they add. This is an area I'm interested in exploring, but for now I have no first-hand experience to share, and I'd rather be upfront about that than overstate what I know. What do you dislike about BambooHR?

The most frustrating thing for me is how the chain of approvers works. Some requests need sign-off from multiple people — for example, a vacation request that requires approval from two managers. The problem is the follow-through: the first manager approves, but the second one forgets, and the request just stalls. Reminders go out to both approvers instead of only the person who still needs to act, which adds noise and makes it easy to ignore them. When we've raised this with support, they haven't been able to help, so we're left managing the gaps manually.

Design and UI issues are another sore point, and they bother me more than they might in other tools. BambooHR is fundamentally a product about visualizing a company's information — org structure, time off, people data — so the interface is the product in a very real sense. When there are flaws or rough edges in the UI/UX, it undercuts the whole value proposition. For a platform built around clear presentation of information, the experience needs to be polished and flow-free, and that bar isn't always met.

Beyond that, performance is generally fine but not flawless. We hit occasional slowdowns or hiccups that interrupt the workflow at inconvenient moments — not constantly, but often enough to notice. Support is a mixed experience too: the team responds quickly, which I appreciate, but fast replies haven't always led to actual fixes. BambooHR solves the day-to-day challenge of managing team time off and key dates in one place. Instead of tracking vacations through scattered spreadsheets or informal messages, I have a single source of truth for who's away, when, and for how long. That makes it much easier to plan around availability, avoid scheduling conflicts, and make sure the team always has adequate coverage.

It also helps with keeping track of important dates — things like work anniversaries and other milestones — so they don't slip past unnoticed. On top of that, the allocation statistics and reporting give me visibility into how time and resources are distributed across the team, which supports better planning and more informed decisions.

The integration process was full-service by our Paylocity team and included training for every member of our team. The platform is user friendly and a serious upgrade to the previous system for Admin / Employee / Accounting experience. The payroll experience is streamlined, as well as our benefit integrations.
