What I like least is that it can get expensive pretty quickly, especially once you start needing more seats, reporting, or larger contact volumes. Some of the best features sit behind higher tiers, which can be frustrating when you know the platform is capable of more.

Integration is very easy, but implementation sometimes requires additional training. That can make it hard to pull people away from their day-to-day tasks to do the learning. What do you like best about Pipedrive?

What do you dislike about Pipedrive?

Support. Absolutely the worst part about Pipedrive.

Our account executive, Zachary Phillips, offered us a discount during our trial. We accepted it, he said to add our billing details to the account, we did, and then he stopped responding. 5 days and two follow-up emails later, still no reply and no autoresponder saying he was out. And there is no way to reach anyone else in sales because they have no sales email and support was not able to provide me a way to contact sales. I finally got a response from the sales team lead, Spencer Smith, who just made excuses and said that Zachary has been out for a while. No acknowledgement of the fact that I had been ghosted or that they provide no other way to reach the sales team when someone is out for an extended period of time.

During that time, I also reached out to support and had a chat with Ricardo that was probably the worst customer support I've ever received. He kept insisting that I should do things that weren't possible in their software. I told him it was not an option in their software, but he insisted. I sent him a Loom screen recording showing him, and then he made up a new answer, which was also incorrect. It seems that rather than get help or admit he didn't know, he prefers to make up answers and insist they are correct. His manager, Carolyn, ended up following up the conversation by telling me that what I had said was not possible, was indeed not possible, though she said it like she was informing me. I didn't need to be told, it was their own support team who doesn't seem to know how their software works.

I also had reported a bug to support at the start of the week, spent almost an hour answering their questions and providing a Loom screen recording at their request, just to have them tell me it was a known issue. This is why most software companies use a bug tracker, so that they can know about bugs without wasting the customers time.

Overall, I found their team to be very poorly trained, not at all knowledgeable about their own software and extremely disorganized. It was bad enough that I'm writing a negative review for the first time to warn other people not to use Pipedrive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The software solves the problem of keeping track of sales leads and marketing efforts. Which is a bit ironic since they seem to, by their own admission, have trouble keeping track of their sales leads. What do you like best about Close?

Close helps me keep track of patient enquiries and pending replies in one place. I manage diet consultations at a clinic and also get health-related messages online, so it is useful to see who contacted me and what needs to be done next. Earlier, I used to note things in different places and sometimes forgot to reply on time.

I was able to start using Close without much effort. I added new enquiries, wrote short notes about the patient’s concern, and sent messages from the same screen. This saved time because I did not have to switch between different apps. I usually check it once or twice a day to see what is pending.

Sometimes updates or changes made in Close dont reflect immediately, so I have to refresh the page to see the latest activity. It also helps me keep a simple history of patient communication, so when someone messages again after a few days, I don’t start from zero. What we value most is how easy it is to use, the high quality of the customer support, the breadth of features, and the ability to build highly granular segments.

Architect is amazing for setting up cross-channel campaigns. It offers a wide range of triggers and segmentation capabilities, whether that’s based on user attributes, live onsite behaviour, previous purchase behaviour, predictive AI, and more.

Our Customer Success Manager regularly demonstrates her many years of experience and, in our meetings, proactively shares ideas for new campaigns as well as advice on how to refine existing ones.

The Email Editor can be quite slow, especially when an email includes a recommendation block. Also, because the email address is treated as an identifier, it can’t be changed manually (only via API), which becomes an obstacle if Insider is being used as a “standard newsletter” tool with contact lists. I wish there were true real-time segment updates, like within 10-30 seconds, and the ability to trigger automations instantly when someone enters or exits a segment. Omnisend makes it easy to create beautiful, on-brand newsletters and marketing campaigns. The editor is intuitive, and the templates are modern, clean, and easy to customise. Automation flows are simple to set up and have helped me nurture customer relationships without needing advanced technical knowledge. I also like how seamlessly it integrates with my Shopify account, making it easy to segment audiences, trigger emails based on behaviour, and track performance. What do you dislike about Omnisend?

It can feel a bit limited when it comes to deeper design control and fine-tuned customisation. If you’re someone who wants full creative freedom or highly specific visual elements and formatting, it may not fully meet those expectations. It also sits at a relatively high price point, and some features are locked behind higher-tier plans - this can be challenging for small businesses that are still growing. The automation flows handle welcome sequences, abandoned cart reminders, and customer re-engagement, which has directly improved conversions and repeat purchases. It also solves the challenge of creating professional, aesthetic email campaigns: the drag-and-drop builder makes it easy to design something visually aligned with my brand, even without any technical skills. Being able to segment audiences based on behaviour has also made my messaging feel more personal and relevant, resulting in better engagement and stronger relationships with my community. I like how Detrics simplifies my report management for my agency. It makes data downloading easier and is very user-friendly. I love how easy it is to integrate and how quickly it responds. Additionally, it is cost-effective, which is a great benefit. I also appreciate that with just a few clicks I can download, organize everything, and schedule queries very simply. What do you like best about WhatConverts?

It gives a whole picture of where the traffic is driving from which campaign, which adgroup and which keyword alongside URL, becomes easier for me to also generate monthly reports to present to my clients. It gives us a number of options to select the desired area code and generate a phone number that aligns with our client's businesses.

Umm, sometimes it adds filters and disrupts the tracking of Paid Traffic and names it as Direct Traffic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WhatConverts solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to collect all my campaign data under one roof. I can generate tracking numbers, add them to my landing pages, and easily track the traffic coming to those phone numbers. It also provides a clear picture of which keyword and campaign URL drove traffic to the landing page. On top of that, it gives a summary of calls that are longer in minutes, which saves us time on my email address plus whenever I am using WhatConverts to mark calls as Quotable or Not Quotable.
