With MiCollab, I can easily see if someone is on the phone, away from their desk, or working from home (assuming that they remember to update their status), all without leaving my seat. Micollab softphone client is easy to add to your laptop or smartphone device. I use it on both while I work from home and can receive calls to my office number or make calls from my office number to other colleagues, vendors, and teammates. It is easy to install and configure and allows you many of the same features as your actual phone, such as checking voicemail, seeing recent calls, searching your company's directory, setting speed dials, and setting your favorite contacts. I wish I could change the ringtone. The default ringtone is a bit abrasive for my taste. Perhaps this functionality exists and I just haven't found it yet. Also, speakerphone functionality could use improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
