"Great Features for Live Training"

What do you like best?

I most like the stability of the product, it is rare that my customers have audio or connection issues when connecting to my meetings. I also appreciate the advanced features. I can customize registration and ask my participants what they are most interested in. I can poll attendees during the webinar and export that data after. I've found that the reports are helpful for follow up communication. I always record my meetings and I plan to make the recordings available as podcasts.

What do you dislike?

I wish they did not give me the option to use a toll-free number. This seems unnecessary as most local calls do not incur extra charges for participants.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I provide product training through ReadyTalk Webinar. I run email campaigns to invite users to register, I track registration and interest in my topics and I record the meeting for reuse later.

"Ready Talk for Enablement "

What do you like best?

ReadyTalk is pretty easy to use. All of our attendees can logon and participate without having to download any software to join the webinar, which makes enablement easier that other webinar softwares I've used. The ReadyTalk moderators are great and helpful when introducing and managing sessions.

What do you dislike?

ReadyTalk is relatively expensive and has lacked some of the modules we'd like to try, for example, a multi-talking head formatted presentation or AMAs seem to be a little difficult to pull off with ReadyTalk. We're looking for a little more flexibility.

Recommendations to others considering the product

ReadyTalk is good for your classic webinar needs.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We had a big problem with customer enablement and external communications that we used ReadyTalk to solve.

What Webinar solution do you use?

Thanks for letting us know!

"Easy to use conference tool"

What do you like best?

ReadyTalk provides a safe and secure conference network for you to host conversations and conduct business.

ReadyTalk is best for small to mid-sized conferences (say 15 people or fewer).

It combines IM, screen sharing, and voice conferencing and does allow you to record your conferences without the need for separate software.

Sending invitations for ReadyTalk is very convenient for organizing meetings of all sizes.

What do you dislike?

However, I have typically seen more buggy behavior for larger conferences - in particular, it can be difficult to really control noise feedback from people who have failed to mute their lines.

Very slow at promoting co-presenters and can be buggy when trying to transition between people for screen sharing.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Think about your needs as an organization and whether you will be using primarily audio only or audio plus web. If audio only then ReadyTalk will certainly meet your need. If web, then shop around for functionality, support, and price.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I have been using it for 2 years without any big issues. Our business uses ReadyTalk for both internal and external communications. ReadyTalk is great for conference calls and webinars.

"Easy program for webinars"

What do you like best?

This program is easy to use and to set up, even if you're not really familiar with hosting webinars. The analytics are clear and simple as well. It worked better and audio was more reliable than the previous webinar hosting product we used.

What do you dislike?

It seemed a little challenging to link it with Hubspot, which is the marketing platform my company used (but they were thinking of switching to Marketo which I think would have worked better.) There also didn't seem to be a way to link it to Facebook.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's a good affordable alternative to other webinar products.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Recordings and replays were simple to set up, so it helps us serve our customers who are not always available at the specific time when we do our webinars (since our customer base is truly global.) Because many of my fellow coworkers had less experience than I did with conducting webinars, the available training sessions were really helpful.

"ReadyTalk Webinars "

What do you like best?

Who here has ever been in the position where you miss a conference call, and pray that the chair person recorded the webinar on ReadyTalk Webinars? The answer is all of us. ReadyTalk Webinars provide an easy way to access webinars, review webinars, and make one yourself. The control features are easy, and you can stop pause and rewind the recorded sessions.

What do you dislike?

If presenters are not very experienced in the ReadyTalk webinars, then there can be some problems due to bad audio issues such as volume control, muting all the participants, or loud hold music. It is important that the presenter understand the software or read the tutorials before starting. I think there could be better control features and volume equalizers so participants can help minimize those issues.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It is one of the Webinar Programs that is leading the industry, and may business professionals are using it for training.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The benefits of ReadyTalk Webinar is you can use it as a resource. It is like a library of digital training webinars. You don't need to attend a formal training. Instead you can view it from the comfort of your home, office, or almost anywhere you get an internet connection.

"Readytalk for conference calls"

What do you like best?

You can set up both formal and informal meetings with ReadyTalk on an ad hoc or schedule basis. The Integrated Outlook Calendar plays a vital part here.

What do you dislike?

When you are working with a big group, you tend to break it down into small units for better deployment. With ReadyTalk, you need to conduct a meeting-inside-meeting to collaborate with these small groups, because this program doesn’t have any breakout rooms

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

ReadyTalk can send automated reminders and follow-up emails before and after the webinar to the attendees. You can connect your account with social media profiles via plug-ins. Creating surveys and polls for participants is also easy in ReadyTalk.

"Low quality"

What do you like best?

Editing your recordings within the software is pretty handy, especially for getting quick turnarounds on webinar follow-up emails. In addition, the confirmation emails are pretty good quality.

What do you dislike?

Having gone from GoToWebinar to this, it's pretty clear that ReadyTalk is a completely inferior tool. Particular annoyances include:

- Dialing in on Skype and through the software. Any webinar tool worth it's weight should be fully functional through the software alone.

- Static slide upload, no animations when presenting. Unless you share your desktop, which is pretty laggy even on a great WiFi connection.

- Reporting is just awful.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

No benefits of ReadyTalk apart from in software recording edits.

"Pretty clunky but does the job"

What do you like best?

Platform generally seems to be reliable. Attendee experience on the web version is pretty good.

What do you dislike?

Does not handle attendees from multiple timezones well - reminders and confirmation emails only show the event in the timezone its setup in. Not a lot of ability to customize emails and registration pages. Backend for managing events is clunky and feels like it was built in the 90s

Recommendations to others considering the product

Try everything from end to end both as an attendee, an admin and a host - make sure you test out presenting a live webinar before committing to anything.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Running public webinars for prospects and customers

"not bad but... not much good"

What do you like best?

it's a good marketing tool. It has a basic platform that provides nearly everything you need for creating a multi-media-rich, interactive presentation. This service provides several branding opportunities, such as the ability to change the banner on the emails or webinar webpages to match that of your company. After the meeting, you can redirect people to another page, such as a survey, thank you page or a page promoting your product.

What do you dislike?

It lacks some features, like breakout rooms. Although getting started as a presenter is more complex than with other webinar services, it comes packed with marketing tools to help you use your webinar to promote your products and business.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It's not bad but... there are more good options

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With an easy interface and the ability to integrate with multiple business programs, like Salesforce and HubSpot, ReadyTalk is a good choice for small businesses looking for webinars as a marketing tool.

"Simple and Easy"

What do you like best?

I enjoy that this program is designed to fit everything in together all at once.

I am able to share and present my brand message, train my employees, make leadership leads and connect with customers also. I am able to make pre-posts, make easy schedules that I can join or others can join. The quality and appearance of the program are great!

What do you dislike?

I don't generally have anything to dislike about this program, I was able to use this to the best of my ability. One thing that would be beneficial is to be able to make this program available for people that work from home, students also. Students will have a great time using this program to make presentations, share products or make small business type presentations.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Highly effective program. Should be used to implement demos, connect with customers and even train employees.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am able to create a business-driven presentation and share the demos with customers. Customers have asked to use this program at home. I am able to share this product. I was able to recommend it to other colleagues.

"Great ease and wonderful support"

What do you like best?

I like being able to access recordings from the web. It is a very easy system for all participants to use. It is always improving especially with user feedback. Customer service makes having this software even better.

What do you dislike?

A few things can be mentioned like an easier time of designating the presenters and co-presenters. The use of conferencing by video would also be a great addition.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Make sure that you are ready to use it and start the free trial so that you get the most out of it and it doesn't just sit there without really taking the opportunity to test it out.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The capability to load slides in addition to showing an application to the client. Reducing an overall travel budget is also a great thing.

"Understanding Internet Learning"

What do you like best?

The webinars and webcasts were beneficial for our company as we were able to teach a variety of topics without traveling.

What do you dislike?

The web lagged a little bit at first and the more people interacted with the site.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The ability to teach others across the country will benefit companies that need to address certain topics across the country and maybe the globe.

"Grew out of it fast"

What do you like best?

It's very easy to set up and use, and no download required.

What do you dislike?

Limited features. We uploaded pre-recorded and edited videos to the platform and that resulted in incredibly fuzzy presentations, even after we tried troubleshooting with the video resolution and file type. No one in the support center seemed to know how or why it was happening.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Again, it's good for starters but there are better platforms with more features for about the same price.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It's great for any business to run webinars, so this was a good starter platform for us.

What do you like best?

It is fairly easy to use once you know what you are doing. I recommend reading the instructions prior to usage.

What do you dislike?

Can be difficult to copy or download items and I found that I often have issues with connection. Normally I would think that was an internet issue but other programs work fine while this one has issues.
