"The All-in-One Virtual Events Platform: One time setup, No operational chaos"
4/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

Managing multi-day virtual summits is usually a recipe for operational chaos. RingCentral Events changed pretty much everything for us by replacing a messy tech stack with a seamless, all-in-one platform. It’s fast, smooth, and efficient, and the pricing structure is also pretty straightforward.

StreamYard’s private backstage lets us prep speakers without friction, and the intuitive venue layout—accessible via the magic link—reduced attendee tech-support emails to zero. The built-in AI tool saves days of work by instantly turning raw footage into bite-sized marketing clips. Finally, the HubSpot integration sends real-time engagement data directly to our sales team, saving us at least 10–15 hours of configuration time on every single event.

Even though all of this might sound a bit complex to set up and operate, in practice it’s been quite simple and easy to run. Customer support has also been very active and robust, based on what we’ve seen while using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

The biggest headache is the rigid customization limits in the expo booths and registration pages. Trying to match strict corporate branding guidelines often feels like fighting the system instead of working with it. The platform’s heavy reliance on stable bandwidth is another pain point: if a speaker or attendee has even a minor internet dip, the StreamYard backstage and video feeds can stutter or drop entirely, and you’re forced into a quick page refresh to recover.

Also, while the data sync with HubSpot is fantastic, the native post-event analytics dashboard feels clunky and overwhelming to filter through when you just want a quick, clean summary for sponsors. Lastly, because the feature set is so massive, the initial onboarding comes with a steep learning curve. Less tech-savvy team members can get intimidated by the complex backend settings before the event goes live, and it ends up feeling easy only if the user already has some technical understanding. "Integrated Webinar Tools and Useful Analytics, but Setup Needs Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

I use RingCentral Events at the Mindflaws Academy to host webinars, product launches, and marketing events. I prefer it because the registration, attendance management, and live engagement tools are integrated. The event analytics are also very helpful in tracking attendance and audience engagement, which helps me measure the success of our campaigns and plan for future events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

There are some of the options to setup some events that took a little while to get my head around, such as setting up registration pages and the specific ways to really customize the attendee experience. I'd like to see more flexible reporting and easier integrations with marketing automation tools so that there's less manual work when following up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Event Coordination, but AI Summaries Need Review"
3.5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

I use RingCentral Events for all of the event registration, speaker scheduling, session organization, and attendee updates. It's great to have all these components in one place to track any last minute changes and communicate with my team. I also use the engagement insights to track attendance and see what session generated the most interest after an event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

Certain administrative settings require additional clicks, particularly when managing session information or modifying event settings. It may take a while for our new staff to figure out how to navigate through to the desired setup screen. I would like to see simpler navigation and better explanations for some of the less common options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Timely Session Reminders Kept Our Conference on Track"
4/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

Ran a two day conference with a packed schedule and people kept telling us after previous events that they'd meant to catch a specific session but just lost track of time and missed it entirely. This time attendees could bookmark sessions they cared about right in the mobile app, and it pushed a reminder a few minutes before each one started. Noticed way fewer people wandering in five minutes late asking what they missed compared to past events, the reminder actually did its job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

Push notifications depend on people actually having the app installed and notifications turned on, and a decent chunk of attendees just used the browser version without ever downloading anything, so those people got zero benefit from this at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Events

It is marvelous to hear how RingCentral Events helped keep your two-day conference schedule running on time, Oliver! Enabling attendees to bookmark preferred sessions and receive automated pre-session mobile push reminders is a simple yet powerful way to boost attendance, reduce late walk-ins, and improve the overall event experience. "RingCentral Events Analytics Makes Post-Event Reporting and Content Clips Fast"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

I appreciate the analytics side of RingCentral Events which is what I end up opening most days after an event. It lets me quickly see peak attendance, how long people stayed, chat volume, and which parts of the session drew the most activity, without having to hunt through different tools. That gives me solid numbers for social reporting instead of guessing based on comments and shares. I also like being able to pull the recordings and turn a few strong moments into short clips or carousels, which has noticeably sped up the post-event content work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

Getting the registration pages and the overall look fully on-brand still takes a bit of extra tweaking. Some of the deeper analytics views also feel slightly buried when I’m trying to pull up a specific segment quickly. And pushing highlights directly into our usual social scheduling tools isn’t totally seamless yet, so there’s still a small manual step involved most of the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Events

Thank you for sharing your amazing review. It is awesome to hear how RingCentral Events is streamlining your post-event reporting and content pipeline! Having attendance metrics, engagement peaks, drop-off timelines, and session recordings centralized in one platform eliminates the scramble of pulling scattered data across multiple tools. Re-purposing high-engagement session moments into short video clips, carousels, and social stories directly from your event recordings is a powerful way to accelerate post-event marketing and keep content creation stress-free. The Review Team would love the opportunity to learn more about your experience. Please reference this review and email us directly at review@ringcentral.com to continue the conversation. "Comprehensive Solution for Virtual and Hybrid Events"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

I love the unified venue layout because it allows attendees to seamlessly navigate between the main stage, breakout sessions, expo booths, and networking rooms without needing multiple apps. The high audience interaction features, like speed-networking matching, live Q&A sessions, polls, and emoji reactions keep participants actively engaged. The integrated studio production, thanks to StreamYard technology, makes managing speakers and media during events professionally polished. I appreciate the time-saving AI repurposing tools from the Creator Lab, which simplify turning long event recordings into highlight clips and social media assets. Additionally, since switching to RingCentral Events, I've noticed increased attendee engagement and better sponsor satisfaction due to its dedicated virtual expo booths and clear ROI tracking capabilities. Overall, the platform reduces administrative overhead by consolidating multiple functions into one system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

I find that there's a steep learning curve for attendees. First-time participants sometimes feel overwhelmed navigating the multi-room layout and switching between stages, networking, and expo booths without prior orientation. Another thing is the pricing scalability; subscription tiers and attendee-based pricing can escalate quickly for smaller organizations or growing businesses hosting frequent events, making it a significant line item. Customization is somewhat limited too. While branding options are decent, achieving a deeply bespoke design or complex workflow integrations can be rigid compared to building a custom-coded web app solution. Lastly, pulling detailed analytics and lead generation reports for sponsors can be a bit manual, requiring filtering and formatting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Events

Osama, thank you for taking the time to share your detailed review! It is fantastic how effectively RingCentral Events consolidates your event technology ecosystem, specifically how unifying registration, studio production, interactive venues, and analytics eliminates fragmentation. Leveraging the built-in StreamYard-powered Studio for crisp broadcast controls and using Creator Lab AI tools to turn event recordings into bite-sized social clips and marketing assets are major operational wins for extending event ROI. The Review Team would love the opportunity to learn more about your experience with our products and services. "Charging people money for a virtual event terrified me, this made it less scary"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

This was our first time actually charging for a virtual conference instead of everything being free, and I was nervous about the payment side messing up mid-launch. Setting up early bird, regular, and VIP ticket tiers was way more straightforward than I expected, connected our Stripe account once and just built out the pricing structure from there. What actually saved me though was the Magic Link thing, we had a batch of sponsors who needed free VIP access without going through the whole registration flow, uploaded the list and it just sent them a link straight in, no fumbling with promo codes for that group. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

There's a cut taken out of every paid ticket on top of whatever Stripe already takes, which I sort of knew going in but the actual math surprised me a little once I saw the real numbers after our first sold-out tier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Speakers finally got a place to rehearse before going live"
5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

Nervous speakers used to just get thrown straight into the live stream with zero warmup, which showed, a lot of them fumbled the first thirty seconds getting comfortable. The Backstage area fixed that specifically, speakers can hop in ahead of time, test their camera and audio, and even have a private chat with organizers while rehearsing before actually going live to the audience. Made a noticeable difference in how polished our panel sessions started compared to before. Auto-join for breakout rooms has also been handy, attendees moved into a room just go live automatically instead of needing to manually click "Join Stage" every single time, which used to confuse a chunk of people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

There's still roughly a 30-second delay when broadcasting from Backstage to an actual Stage, which meant our host had to be told beforehand not to react in real time to Stage chat since what they were seeing was already lagging behind what the audience saw. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Events

Thank you for your great insights, Gwen! It is terrific to hear how much value RingCentral Events is adding to your virtual productions, specifically how the Backstage area gives speakers a dedicated green-room environment to test audio/video and calm their nerves, resulting in polished panel starts. Eliminating manual friction with auto-join for breakout rooms is also a huge operational win for non-technical attendees. The Review Team would love the opportunity to learn more about your experience with our products and services. "The Replay area kept generating registrations weeks after the event ended"
4/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

We run a monthly webinar series and used to treat each session as a one-and-done thing, once it aired live, that was basically it. Started actually promoting the Replay area afterward, and people who missed the live date kept signing up and watching the recorded version for weeks, some clicking through the same CTA buttons we had in the original session. The Expo area's CTA button collecting emails on click has quietly become a lead source too, sponsors get real signups just from someone browsing a booth without needing to attend a live session at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

Getting the Advanced layout's drag-and-drop builder to match our exact brand guidelines took longer than expected, the four preset themes were close but not quite right, so building something fully custom meant more fiddling than picking a template and being done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Events

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback, Stacey! It is fantastic to hear how much long-tail value RingCentral Events brings to your monthly webinar series, specifically how turning on the Replay Area transformed one-off presentations into evergreen content engines that generate new registrations and CTA link clicks weeks after going live. The Review Team would love to learn more about your experience. Please reference this review and email us at review@ringcentral.com to continue the conversation.

"Caption Translation Boosted Engagement, but Struggles When Speakers Switch Languages"
3.5/5
What do you like best about RingCentral Events?

We run an annual conference with attendees dialing in from a dozen or so countries, and non-native English speakers used to quietly disengage once the keynote picked up pace, we'd notice engagement dip on the analytics but couldn't figure out why until we asked around. Turning on caption translation let attendees pick their own language on Stage, and the drop-off during longer sessions basically disappeared afterward. Also used the AI clips feature this year for the first time, turned our closing keynote into a handful of shareable moments automatically instead of someone scrubbing through a two-hour recording looking for good bits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RingCentral Events?

Translation only works properly when the original speaker's speaking English, one of our panelists is naturally more comfortable in French and switching mid-session broke caption accuracy for that whole segment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Madi Hayford of RingCentral Events

Thank you for sharing your great review, David! It is fantastic to hear how RingCentral Events is serving your annual conference, specifically how live caption translation across several viewer languages eliminated international drop-off during keynotes and kept non-native English speakers fully engaged. Knowing that AI Clips saved your team hours of manual video scrubbing by automatically pulling shareable highlights from closing keynotes is a huge win for post-event marketing. The Review Team would love the opportunity to learn more about your experience with our products and services.
