"Comprehensive Event App with Great Support"
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

The offering is very comprehensive as to what ideas and elements can be included in the event app/webpage. For the most part, end users seem it easy to navigate. The chat support is excellent and very knowledgeable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

At times, navigating the backend can be confusing. Because there are a lot of pieces and parts, it can be hard to find exactly where everything is and what all the categories and other options mean, i.e., how to best use them and how they could make the user experience better. "Webex review"
What do you like best about Webex?

What I appreciate most about Webex is its consistently reliable video and audio quality, which holds up well even in lengthy meetings. Scheduling, joining, and sharing screens are all straightforward, and the chat and recording features help keep collaboration both smooth and well-organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex?

One thing I don't like about Webex is that it tends to use a lot of system resources, which can cause it to lag, especially when several people are sharing their screens or using video at the same time. Additionally, I feel that the interface could be updated to look more modern and be easier to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Solution for Hosting both Virtual and Hybrid Large-scale Events"
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

We recently hosted our "Celebrate You Week" and the scalability of the Webex Events platform was undoubtedly one of its greatest strengths. We were able to accommodate nearly 15,000 participants seamlessly, without any technical glitches or interruptions.

The platform’s interactive features—such as gamification, live Q&A sessions, polling, and chat functionality—played a key role in keeping the audience actively engaged throughout the event. Additionally, we effortlessly set up a dynamic dashboard at our office premises, powered by the Webex Events dashboard, which displayed images and posts shared by participants in real time, eliminating the need for any manual intervention.

Post-event, the analytics and reporting tools provided accurate insights into participation trends and walk-ins, enabling us to quickly share comprehensive reports with management. Overall, Webex Events proved to be a robust and reliable solution for hosting large-scale, interactive events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

We faced a few challenges during the event, particularly when the host was delayed in joining, which caused the panelists to experience difficulties connecting to the audio. Additionally, following a recent update, some advanced settings became buried within menus, making it less intuitive and requiring prior training for first-time hosts to navigate effectively.

Another limitation was the attendee chat functionality, which remains quite basic and lacks support for threaded conversations or richer formatting options, limiting more dynamic audience interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Large-Scale Event Management with Great Engagement Tools"
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

I find Webex Events & Webinars invaluable for hosting large-scale virtual sessions, as it effectively helps us deliver organized, interactive, and substantial networking sessions. What I like most is the strong control over the sessions, allowing me to manage large audiences effortlessly. The platform facilitates smooth presentations and engages participants effectively through its Q&A and polling features, enhancing the overall experience. Additionally, I appreciate the registration and reporting features, which simplify tracking attendance and following up after the event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

I believe the first-time setup for Webex Events & Webinars could be improved. It required some initial learning to navigate effectively. Additionally, the platform offers limited customization options. A more guided setup wizard that walks users step-by-step through creating a webinar would be beneficial. Furthermore, having clearer default settings and pre-built templates would aid in branding. I would also appreciate a more customizable registration page, allowing changes in fonts and color themes. "Professional-Grade Events with Great Features, But Steep Learning Curve and Limited Customization"
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

What I appreciate most about Webex Events and Webinars is the seamless way it manages large-scale virtual sessions, consistently delivering professional-quality audio and video. The platform includes a variety of interactive features like Q&A, polls, and chat, which really help keep the audience engaged. I also find the host controls for managing participants straightforward, making it especially suitable for formal events and corporate webinars. Its integration with calendar and email platforms streamlines scheduling and sending reminders. All in all, it offers a dependable and secure setting for hosting professional online events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

One of the primary drawbacks of Webex Events and Webinars is that the interface may seem complicated and unintuitive, especially for those using it for the first time. Setting up registration forms and handling panelists can often be a lengthy and confusing process. The platform also depends on a stable internet connection; without it, users may experience noticeable lag or even disconnections. When it comes to customization, the options for branding and event layout are somewhat restricted compared to more modern platforms. Furthermore, the pricing structure could be considered steep for smaller organizations or educational institutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Event Setup and Engagement, with Room for Backend Improvements"
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

What I like best about Webex Events & Webinars is how straightforward the setup is, whether I’m planning a small training or a large multi-session conference. The interface lets me control registration, branding, and attendee access with minimal effort. It’s also helpful that I can use live interactive features—like polls, Q&A, reactions, and chat—to keep participants engaged. The platform handles high attendee numbers with stable performance, which makes my job much easier. Upsides include easy event customization, strong audience engagement tools, and reliable streaming for both live and hybrid formats Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

What I dislike about Webex Events & Webinars is that some of the backend menus and options aren’t as intuitive as I’d like, so it takes time for new administrators to get comfortable. Managing large invitation lists is less efficient if you need to upload external contacts, and some advanced reporting or customization features are limited. The security and access controls could also be more flexible to fit different event types or organizational needs. These aren’t blockers, but they are areas where the platform could be improved. "Provided a path forward for what felt like a dead end"
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

Webex Events (formerly Socio) provides a level of customization and organization that truly elevated our service to a level others were not doing. Our community had a central location but when we thought we'd have to shut down our doors because no one wanted to keep repeating themselves monthly - it provided a new path to provide education through streaming services. Having a customized app was also a game changer. We used it for our first live event last month and our members spoke extremely highly about what a great resource it was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

I wish the calendar functions could be "subscribed to" - it's one of the only challenges that the company hasn't addressed so far. Each event has to be added individually. Right now, I pay for a second service and duplicate effort for members because I need a calendar that they can subscribe to and autopopulates and updates to reflect changes. The price went up 7x when they were acquired and forced me to rebuild my entire company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible and User-Friendly for Seamless Event Management"
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

I appreciate how Webex Events & Webinars allows me to manage everything in a single, centralized platform, making the event setup and execution highly efficient and paperless. This approach is not only more sustainable but also caters to modern event management needs. The tool's flexibility is another aspect I value highly, as it adapts to various event settings and requirements. Additionally, I find the user-friendly interface, enhanced with the ability to customize with pictures and colors, particularly advantageous as it resonated well with attendees, providing them an accessible and visually appealing platform. The process was smooth during the setup phases, supported by internal assistance, even though the event itself was in-person, showcasing the tool's versatility. Overall, these features contribute significantly to a streamlined, environmentally friendly, and aesthetically pleasing event management experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Hybrid Event Planning with Flexible, User-Friendly Tools"
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

I appreciate that it is designed to offer both flexibility and ease of use, which enables us as organizers to create engaging events that help us achieve our goals. The inclusion of a live streaming option also broadens our audience reach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

This is truly a tool that everyone can benefit from. Our experience so far has been outstanding, and I have no complaints. It has greatly simplified the process of planning a hybrid event, making it easy for attendees to register and access content whether they are participating in person or virtually. "Master Your Virtual Events with Webex Events & Webinars"
What do you like best about Webex Events & Webinars?

What I like best about Webex Events & Webinars is the balance it strikes between professional-grade control and audience engagement. The platform allows hosts to manage large scale events with ease assigning roles, moderating Q&A, and controlling access while still offering interactive features like chat, polls, and live reactions that keep participants involved. The reliability of Cisco’s infrastructure also ensures smooth delivery, even for high attendance events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webex Events & Webinars?

One minor drawback of Webex Events & Webinars is that the interface can feel slightly cluttered during large events, especially for new users. While everything is logically organized, the number of available controls and panels might be a bit overwhelming at first. A more streamlined or customizable view for hosts could enhance the overall usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
