We used to just hand sales a flat list of everyone who registered, no way to tell who was actually a decision maker versus someone's intern signed up out of curiosity. Had a keynote speaker who couldn't actually be online during our target time slot due to a time zone mismatch, so we used simulive to run a pre-recorded session that streamed as if it were happening live while the speaker joined live chat and Q&A in real time from wherever they actually were. Attendees had no idea it wasn't a true live stream, they were reacting and asking questions like normal. Also used gesture recognition during a smaller session, someone raised an actual hand on camera and the platform detected it and flagged them in the queue instead of needing to type into a chat box to be noticed. Ran a full day conference with multiple tracks running at once, and previously we just had one flat agenda page that made it genuinely confusing which sessions overlapped with what. Built out separate tracks properly this time, technical, business, and a beginner track, so attendees could filter to just what mattered to them instead of scrolling through everything trying to piece together their own schedule. Speakers assigned to sessions across different tracks occasionally got double booked in our planning spreadsheet before the actual event, had to catch and fix two scheduling conflicts manually before the day of since the platform itself didn't flag that for us. Event logistics were easy to access and following our event we can still see attendee engagement and networking. Most found it easy to navigate through the different features and the performance of the app stood up to the entire day without any issues. We had almost 500 people registered to use this app for our one-day event. Compatibility including livestream problems and livestream issues arose during the event while using the launch studio feature. That may have resulted to the interface freezing and needed a restart or not enough refreshes to the page. What I like most about Webex Events & Webinars is its reliability and its comprehensive feature set for delivering professional online training and large-scale webinars. The platform makes it straightforward to manage registrations, schedule sessions, control participant access, and run smooth live presentations with minimal technical issues. Interactive tools like Q&A, polling, chat, and breakout sessions also help keep participants engaged, which is especially important for education and training programs. The recording and reporting features add even more value by letting us review sessions, track attendance, and assess learning outcomes. Webex Events & Webinars is generally very reliable, but the platform can sometimes feel heavy, especially for participants on limited bandwidth or using older devices. Initial load times and required software updates can occasionally delay the start of a session, which disrupts the flow of training programs. A lighter client option, or stronger performance in the browser-based experience, would greatly improve usability overall, particularly for large-scale education and public training sessions. At times, navigating the backend can be confusing. Because there are a lot of pieces and parts, it can be hard to find exactly where everything is and what all the categories and other options mean, i.e., how to best use them and how they could make the user experience better. I like how Webex Events & Webinars populates the website and app in real time, which makes changes easier and more efficient. One thing I don't like about Webex is that it tends to use a lot of system resources, which can cause it to lag, especially when several people are sharing their screens or using video at the same time.
