In performance marketing, "Creative" is the new targeting. At Velocity Growth Partners, we need high-fidelity video assets that we can rapidly iterate for client campaigns. What I like best about Riverside is its local recording technology. By recording 4K video and uncompressed audio locally on each participant’s device, we eliminate the "Zoom-quality" jitters and low-res artifacts that usually kill a high-spend ad's credibility. The Magic Clips AI is also a significant operational win; it allows my team to take a 45-minute strategic interview and instantly extract 10-12 high-impact vertical shorts for TikTok and Meta ads, drastically reducing our post-production overhead and improving our speed-to-market. While the AI-driven text-based editor is revolutionary for quick cuts, it still lacks some of the advanced color grading and multi-layer compositing features found in Premiere Pro. For our high-tier enterprise clients, we often have to export the separate tracks (which Riverside makes very easy via the XML export) to finish the edit externally. Additionally, while the HubSpot integration is great for webinars, I’d like to see more direct integrations with performance tracking tools so we can see which "Magic Clips" are driving the highest conversion rates directly within the Riverside dashboard. It's supposed to render better, but it's impossible to download the file sometimes. They keep charging me without receipts $300 yearly when I am on a free plan, and last year they couldn't refund it because 'they can't locate the transaction.' This year they use chatbots that say my transaction is not refundable. So $900 that I didn't agree to, and I need to close my AMEX to prevent the charges I didn't agree to while I am on a free plan.
