Frontify is really intuitive to use. From brand guidleines, to project management and libraries we have got our teams up to speed in no time.

I don't like the differences between a document library and media library. I think both should have the same functionality.

Frontify is indeed the most effective way to manage a brand of a large organisation. Staff are using the brand portal beyond my expectations.

It could be more accessible, and costs for a comprehensive subscription are pretty prohibitive.

Updating and amending guidelines is a time-consuming activity. Frontify cuts that time to seconds, allowing us to have up-to-date policies at any time.

Frontify has enabled the organization to work collaboratively and consistently with our brand expression. In addition, it has made a large portion of the organization brand ambassadors that keep our brand expression consistent, accessible and engaging. Core brand identity, guidelines and brand assets are all close at hand, allowing us to leverage the brand experience across markets and channels. The Frontify support is also very responsive, always with a helpful and agile mindset.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Some parts of the set-up process and backend UI navigation are somewhat unintuitive and demanding at a first glance. There are also some bugs within some functionalities, but nothing that can't be worked around.

Frontify enables us to work more effectively, consistently and focused with our brand expression. The result is a stronger and more cohesive brand and increased internal brand engagement and ambassadorship.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

Their ability to help more often than not is amazing! They are quick with their responses and are always willing to help me with any odd question I come up with. During the relaunch of our brand guidelines, the assistance I received from our Customer Success Manager and the customer support team at Frontify was unbeatable. They helped me design a gameplan for our launch date, were flexible when our dates moved and helped me come up with solutions to several different problems. I couldn't have done it without them.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Some tools don't exist yet that I would use such as folders on the front end of the site to help organize our image libraries. We have extensive libraries containing thousands of images and only being able to sort them using collections is sometimes quite cumbersome and doesn't look as neat and clean as I would like for our front end users.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have provided us with a resource to be able to host not only our brand guidelines but assets/templates for our internal colleagues to download and use. We are also able to host many image libraries for our various internal teams as well as use them to create toolkits to share with external agencies for projects that they are working on for our company. Frontify has become a very unique tool that is hugely useful for our team.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

We've had great success launching our rebrand using Frontify. In one night I was able to get the very basics of our brand up and running. It was super fast and intuitive. There is a lot to like about this DAM and brand guidelines solution. We haven't implemented the templates yet, but when we do, it's going to be a game-changer for us. 

There really isn't a learning curve with Frontify. It's very straightforward from an admin and user point of view. The last DAM I implemented (at a previous company) had a very high learning curve and it took a long time to get our assets loaded, tagged with metadata, and placed in the right collections. It took about a year to get it running smoothly. It was super stressful. And we had to pay a lot more just to have one simple brand portal. It was honestly a fantastic product and worked well for us, but it was super complicated. I was willing to use that company again because I knew it very well, but once I watched Frontify's demo, I was sold. I needed to get a full site up within 1 week for the launch of our rebrand. I never would have been able to do that with the other platform.

This is the first real brand platform my current company has ever had. The response has been fantastic. Team members love being able to help themselves and get all the information they need in one place. Even our CEO praised the site for being very user-friendly. He liked the self-service and easiness of the platform. Employees now know where to find our latest assets—all in one place. And the SSO feature is really nice when setting up groups in the admin settings. We love it.  

We also like the integration with SalesForce. Now there's no excuse for sales reps to be off-brand!

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

The only thing I can think of that I disliked was setting up Groups and Targets. I don't get it. It's not intuitive to me at all. Wrapping my head around this took some time. There's got to be a more intuitive user experience there. But even so, I was able to figure it out after watching more demos and reading through Frontify's resource section (for admins).

Nice-to-have's I'd like to see:

I'd really like a direct API with Microsoft Office products. Although the desktop app helps, it's not a perfect solution for us. We'd like to have employees access our icons and images directly from a library inside PowerPoint. This is not a deal-breaker. It would just be a very convenient feature. 

In the color section of the brand guidelines, I'd like to have the color palette be able to copy the hex number directly to the clipboard when clicking on a specific color. Other DAMs I've worked with have this feature and it's great. It's definitely a "nice-to-have", but it's a REALLY GREAT, nice-to-have.

**Recommendations to others considering Frontify:**

Use the free trial. Start setting up your guidelines and you'll see just how easy it is. Just the fact that I could use the actual product myself before purchasing it was awesome. The 3 other providers I reviewed did not offer this. They even offered a team from Frontify to walk me through it from start to finish—during the trial period! I didn't need it. I just watched a few videos to figure out the user-profiles and permissions settings, but that was it. Fast and simple. It doesn't have the super in-depth metadata, tagging and collection bells and whistles that other DAMs provide. But I didn't need that. I needed a solution that was easy for me to set up and easy for employees to use.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems: everyone was running amuck with the brand. There was no approval process. There was no centralized place to find brand assets. Employees just did whatever they wanted. It was a disaster. The PDF guidelines we had were too wordy for the everyday user. We needed a DAM and online brand guidelines solution, especially since we were in the middle of rebranding the entire company. 

Solution: Frontify puts all of that in one place. No more excuses for not knowing which presentation template or logo was the most current version. It was fast and easy to get it up and running with the brand basics. 

Benefits: Employees are using the right brand assets. They know where to go for help. They ask questions now instead of doing whatever they want to. It has legitimized the brand team. It has eliminated the time spent sending links to the right assets in SharePoint folders. And our team members are happier!

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

Our company has been utilising the wiki-like functionality of Frontify to help disseminate process information to internal audiences for a number of years now. Although not it's intended/designed usage, the power of the granular Frontify search functionality means that a large global audience can quickly and easily pinpoint the process guide they are looking for amongst hundreds of pages of internal process content, without having to remember how our process owners have structured that content. This search functionality alone is what makes Frontify far more powerful to us than other platforms such as Microsoft Sharepoint, which have been explictly designed to meet the requirement of quick, simple, accessible information sharing.
The Editing GUI is also so intuitive that over the years I have only had to conduct a 2 minute long training for all new Editors to the platform - again, unlike Sharepoint which takes significantly longer to train on.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Currently you cannot link to content easily between projects. As our company utilises 1 project/subject area, this makes it a more labour intensive process to add the necessary links. Also, Editors cannot copy content easily between projects, which also makes this common need very labour intesive.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Frontify as a psuedo wiki tool, to document and share internal processes (in the form of written content, documents, visios, imagery and videos) with our internal colleagues around the world. This has been hugely beneficial to us in aligning our processes and aiding our training thereon.

Easy to use.  Online editing and building pages are intuitive.  Drag and drop functionality saves time.  Search functionality is very good.  Expanding content in the system is easy.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

The tool is very straightforward and easy to use.  Our team posts help files, training materials and the like - the search makes it very easy to use.  So, not much to DISlike about Frontify.

**Recommendations to others considering Frontify:**

It's a good tool.  Be prepared to pay for it.  After several years of use, it will be challenging to switch - or will take a significant effort.  So, if you invest your time and effort, be prepared to pay when prices rise in 5+ years.  I am writing this review as part of a negotiated discount (it's a tactic that gets the job done ; ).

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The need to share  processes, training and documentation on complex platforms with a global audience.  It has served our purposes well over the years.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

I appreciate that they are fast to reply on their customer help chat service, that it's easy to get in contact with my connections for guidance and help when setting up new solutions for my clients, and that the digital solution on a whole is easy and intuitive to learn.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

I think the Frontify template solution is underdeveloped and that the way it differs in view mode and edit mode is bad. I think this solution could use some more time in the development stage as it seems a bit unfinished.

**Recommendations to others considering Frontify:**

Highly recommend using it, and when the template solution gets better I would highly recommend that as well!

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefit of connecting the customer to the solution, as well as the company I work for. Being able to communicate directly with them through their own Frontify site is very helpful for quick and easy maintenance and edits.

More in-depth analytics would be useful, understand user behaviors (why are people creating pubications but not downloading them?)

It is easy for all employees in our organization to access our brand guidelines and branded material making communications more consistent, flexible and easy.

Frontify's flexibility in building out brand guidelines, as well as compartmentalizing and managing individual assets with granular signifiers (tagging, metadata, and descriptions). This makes accessing assets easy not only for the brand managers but for internal/external team members and clients.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Frontify has improved and updated its platform since I've become a user two years ago, but I wish there was a function to view all the tags and metadata in a list somewhere. This includes the function to delete tags.

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Frontify helped us document our illustration assets, provided a simple place to store various types of files, and create separate libraries that internal and external parties could access.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

I´m still a big fan of the collaboration features within frontify. I am working with them for 8 years already (as an agency we use it internally and set it up for our clients), and think under this aspect it´s one of the best tools on the market. Upload designs, then mark modules, organisms, etc. to define frontend patterns or CMS modules to be developed. I know the platform has developed way further, can be used as a DAM, etc. but I still like this feature the most.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

For external purposes - e.g. building an external brand portal, with access for media or investor relations, with authentification, and logic or workflows on media assets - frontify is not very flexible. If you have to build a brand portal incl. media assest, grant access to CNN, CNBC, etc., make sure that your footage is timestamped, etc. and all that - then rather use a different platform. This might be a problem of marketing, not the product itself, but put against other solutions (like bynder, Adobe Asets or Sitecore Content hub), frontify wouldn´t be my system of choice as a DAM.

The layout options help to keep the authoring and user experience consistent so that learning how to add and find information is easily accomplished. The search function provides a comprehensive review of content in the knowledge base and provides users with relevant results. The search feature provides a contextual view of the results and enables the visitor to select a result option that most closely aligns with intent.

Frontify makes it incredibly easy to make great-looking guidelines. They found the right balance between customizability and standardization, so you can trust that different users will be able to update the site and still maintain consistency.

I have minor requests for the platform--small things like ability to change text alignment or change video sizes. It would be nice to have a formal way to request features or to see what's on the roadmap. They do a great job of documenting new features, though!

The product experience is not great. Compared to other website builders, it feels rigid. There are not many ways to customize the page layout. The pricing model currently does not offer a solution for young companies that already want to use some pro features but are not ready to start with a high monthly rate. Frontify is definitely the most sophisticated brand management solution on the market. Switching between the front end and the back end is a little cumbersome on an admin level, especially when you're bouncing back and forth a lot during the initial setup. I also wish there was a way for users with lower-level permissions to get notified about asset updates and to leave comments on assets.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

The system is very user friendly and customizable. Easily adjusted to different project needs.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

Not all features are available in the smaller plans.

It is a great way to create campaign hubs for clients. Easily centralizing guidelines and assets in one place. Also, I really like the workflow management and that I can give and receive feedback on the assets.

It was really easy to have all our brand assets in one place, with everybody being able to access it both internal employees and external partners

It answered all of our company needs so can't really think of anything besides Pricing.

If you manage a lot of brands' assets or interact with many people using your assets and care about your brand consistency, Frontify is a great solution! Great experience dealing with the Frontify team <3

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have a hard time maintaining all of our brands' assets and controlling with whom you shared what, Google drive seems like an obvious choice but it becomes a full-time job to maintain.

Features for sure the whole frontend view as well the backend options.

Some Backend settings are not well thought out, but Frontify is open-minded and considers all stuff, but it also takes time.

The ease of use of their tools. I was able to catch on in a short amount of time. Also their customer experience. Whenever I have a question or require a solution, they respond in a super timely manner.

At the moment, I can't pin point something I dislike.

Providing internal employees with the tools they need. Working with Frontify has allowed us to create a Hub where employees can access the tools and brand related information they need.

**What do you like best about Frontify?**

The flexibility provided makes it possible to customize it for all companies. The flexibility to integrate the solution into the companies own brands and landscape of digital solutions also makes it usable for more prominent brands.

**What do you dislike about Frontify?**

The complexity of the product makes it hard to get an overview of the price model. And it is hard to divide it by the size of the company since other aspects will come into consideration as well

**What problems is Frontify solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frontify provides me with a solution that covers all areas within the branding segment. To mention a few examples: image bank, corrections, campaign platform, branding platform etc
