We recently moved over to Frontify to host our brand guidelines, which has been incredible, it elevates the brand and is easy to navigate. The templates function has made our lives so much easier as designers as it allows controlled designs to be created amoungst our larger team. Frontify is an excellent product; it has predefined elements that allow you to get the basics of your brand guidelines up and running quickly and easily. Making libraries and adding assets to them is simple and their AI and batch tagging takes a lot of the monotony and time-consuming drudgery out of getting your assets into a state where they can easily be filtered, searched for and found. But it is not just a 'simple' product; it has considerable depth to its feature set and with some concerted effort, learning and understanding, your quickly created basics can be tweaked and enhanced to allow for continual improvement. Frontify's biggest strength is also probably its biggest weakness, in striving for ease of use and speed of implementation, there is a lot of customisation, and more complex requirements that just don't seem to be possible. The workflows are limited and are basically just a way to assign and change the status of assets in the libraries, they cannot be used to move or manipulate assets directly which hinders automation of tasks and results in more manual intervention. We have not, as yet, looked at integration with other applications which may help in addressing these issues, but it seems that is going to become a necessity. There should be a 'central font server for font management with selection allowed every time to the user as opposed to including fonts in every InDesign package. My main dislike is in the folder set up. Sometimes it's hard to find files, because it counts empty folders as items. Ideally empty folders should show as (0) empty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the "what you see is what you get" approach of Frontify in terms of guidelines that really help us to be aligned, considering that we have several brands and several teams across different countries, so it's really easy and helpful to update guidelines with new chapters. We're not customers of they DAM part as we host our files in other solution from other supplier. I think they're a bit far from the top DAM in terms of integrations with 3rd party software, big files hosting, etc... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Frontify is a very capable platform for sharing your brand guidelines. The possibilities of linking to internal pages and assets from media libraries makes it quite powerful. Especially their logo library is handy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
