Float offers us the scheduling and time tracking capabilities of other platforms such as Smartsheet Scheduling (formerly 10,000ft) without the bloat or extra costs of these larger suites. For a smaller team, it provides everything we need, and nothing we don't.

The customer support team were excellent during the on boarding process. We were even able to discuss a couple of feature requests and were glad to hear they were already in the works.

I am now using Float to plan out my teams work over the two week sprints. We all then use it to clock our time daily. Quite a few of best features are hidden without any documentation or tutorial on them (such as holding shift and clicking on a time entry will allow you to duplicate it), and some have to work in a specific way to get right. Because of its many features, it can be hard to navigate to find what you are looking for. I wish there was a basic home page with navigation links to then jump into what you need to access. As a designer and not a project manager, I don't always need access to or care to view what the rest of the organization is booked on. Editing the time that has been logged is unnecessarily difficult. when you move the start time the end time also changes, so either you log hours without proper time allocation or spend 20 minutes trying to get the log right. Also, adding manual logs for circumstances like forgetting to press play is complicated and does not allow for a specific time of the day allocation only for the sum of time. Float can help you manage your time logs in multiple projects in different color shades, it is very fantastic to show your time logs in different colors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we generate report of the time log project-wise, it is showing total logged hours and scheduled hours, it didn't show if it was billable or not, I think two extra column can show billable hours of the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am using this regularly for my Time log and schedule my Time off. It has a friendly interface and easy to understand its features use. The most common feature I use is for logging the time, scheduling time off, and data of the time spent on what activity.
