## Float.com Reviews
 ### 1. Simple, Enjoyable Hour Logging

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riccardo S. | Software developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Float has made time tracking something I no longer have to think about. The interface is clean, intuitive, and quick to use, so logging hours takes only a few seconds instead of feeling like a chore.

From an employee's perspective, it's easy to switch between projects, keep track of where my time goes, and ensure my timesheets are always accurate. It helps me stay focused on my work rather than on administrative tasks.

For the company, Float provides clear visibility into how time is allocated across multiple projects, making it much easier to monitor costs, utilization, and overall project health. It's one of those tools that benefits both employees and management without adding unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

The mobile app could be more intuitive, especially when it comes to logging hours. While the desktop experience is straightforward, I found myself having to navigate through several screens before I could enter my time.

A dedicated **"Log Today's Hours"** button on the home screen or bottom navigation would make the process much faster and more user-friendly. Since logging hours is one of the most common actions, making it accessible in a single tap would significantly improve the overall mobile experience.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float makes it easy to keep track of the time spent on each project and provides clear visibility into how workloads are distributed. From an employee perspective, this helps create a better understanding of schedules, priorities, and available capacity.

It also helps prevent overwork by making it easier to identify when someone is overloaded and allowing teams to balance workloads more effectively. This visibility benefits both employees, by supporting a healthier work-life balance, and managers, by improving planning and resource allocation.

 ### 2. Super User-Friendly, Easy Integration, and Granular Resource Breakdown

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evie T. | Account Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

It is super user friendly and easy to integrate with our working processes. Great to breakdown resource in granular detail by clients and projects. I specifically enjoy being able to use the filter function which helps me narrow down departments, roles, projects and clients

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

The Google Calendar integration doesn’t seem to work very well. It logs everything as “float,” when it should be more intuitive about what gets added as a resource versus what should be treated as a meeting. On top of that, you also have to manually change it, which makes the whole process feel unnecessarily cumbersome.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We predominantly use Float to manage and resource our company’s time. We’re an advertising agency with a lot of clients and multiple projects running at the same time, and we often found that work wasn’t being resourced properly. Because of that, we couldn’t keep up with how much time people were spending on tasks, and during particularly busy weeks it was hard to tell whether we needed extra support from freelancers.

We’ve tried other resourcing tools, such as Wrike, but they never really seemed to stick. That was mainly due to time constraints and user interfaces that weren’t especially friendly. From my perspective, resourcing has improved massively since we started using float and it has helped us keep more on top of time management and staffing needs

 ### 3. Clear, Intuitive Interface with Flexible Customisation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louis C. | Accounting Trainee, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

he interface is very easy to understand and navigate. The layout is clear and intuitive, making it simple to find the information and features I need without confusion. Everything is presented in a logical way, which helps improve efficiency and reduces the time spent learning how to use the system.

I also like how it can be customised to suit individual preferences and ways of working. The ability to tailor settings, layouts and features makes the experience more personal and user-friendly. This flexibility allows users to work in a way that best meets their needs, which can help improve productivity and overall satisfaction with the platform.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

The “View Team” option could be more accurate and reliable. On occasion, it displays incorrect or outdated information, which can make it difficult to get a clear understanding of team structures and responsibilities. Improving the accuracy and consistency of this feature would increase confidence in the information provided and make it a more useful tool for users who rely on it to understand their team and wider organisational relationships.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float is solving the problem of scheduling and resource management by providing a clear overview of who is working on what and when. It helps teams plan workloads effectively, avoid scheduling conflicts, and ensure resources are allocated appropriately across different projects and assignments.

 ### 4. Easy, Color-Coded Time Tracking with a Handy “This Week” View

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoey B. | Data + Analytics Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I love the "Log my time" tab the best! I love how you can color code different projects. I also love how easy it is to look at what you have coming up for the week using the "This week" view and logging your time that way.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

When I first started using it, it was hard to understand how it worked, so there was a bit of a learning curve for me. It is more user-friendly than other time tracking platforms, so I was not used to that!

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is handling my resourcing each week really well. I work a 40 hour work week, and I am able to see how well my schedule reflects that, more specifically if I'm scheduled for more or less hours for a particular week. It helps manage my stress and time, which is very helpful!

 ### 5. User-Friendly UI/UX and Helpful Project Time Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

It is very user-friendly. I have used Float for 5 years at different jobs and saw the evolution of this software, and the focus they put on UI/UX. Also, it has a good statistics feature in the report tab, where it shows how many hours are left for a specific project to complete. I found that very useful for my jobs that have time limits, which allows me to plan my work time better.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I guess that the design changed a few times drastically over the past few years, and it required some time to find the old features and get used to them, but that's also a good part, since the UI refinements made it better and easier to use

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time tracking, planning the work between projects, seeing how many hours I have worked on a specific project, and how many hours are left, I also track my progress and write down updates that my management tracks in the notes for a specific logged day

 ### 6. Clear Project Overview and Smarter Workload Planning with Float

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

What I like most is having a clear overview of the projects I’m involved in, timelines, and task allocation. As a UI/UX Designer, Float helps me quickly understand how my workload is distributed, plan design activities more effectively, and stay aligned with priorities and deadlines.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

What I like less is that, in the way we currently use it, Float is mainly a tool for viewing project allocations. However, I feel it has greater potential, and some of its features could be better leveraged to support planning, work organization, and provide a more complete overview of activities.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float mainly helps me understand how my time is distributed across different projects and gives me a clear view of upcoming allocations. This allows me to organize my work more effectively, anticipate potential overlaps or periods of higher workload, and have better visibility into my availability across projects.

 ### 7. Intuitive and Effective Resource Management with Float.com

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan Glenn U. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I really like Float.com's UI/UX because it's easy to navigate and user-friendly. It makes handling everything much easier. I also find the review and cost reports very helpful, especially for project costs and time recording. The developer API is great too; it's straightforward and easy to integrate with other applications. Generating and extracting reports is simple, which is a huge plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

As of now, I would say the currency in terms of our cost rates for people is a limitation. I know Float.com is just starting to implement this feature, but I believe it's still in beta and that's a current limitation we're having.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com simplifies resource management by providing easy time recording for all users, including external ones. Its user-friendly UI makes navigation effortless, while the API allows straightforward integration. Generating project cost reports is easier, enhancing productivity.

 ### 8. Simple Interface and Clear Visual Scheduling for Organized Project Planning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rehan A. | Artificial Intelligence Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I use Float to plan project schedules and manage resource allocation across different tasks. What I like most is its simple interface and clear visual scheduling view, which makes it easy to understand team availability and workload distribution. It helps keep project planning organized without adding unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Some of the advanced reporting and customization options could be more flexible. New users may also need a bit of time to get familiar with all of the planning features and how they work.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float helps manage resource allocation and project schedules in one place instead of relying on multiple spreadsheets. This benefits me by improving visibility into workloads, reducing scheduling conflicts, and making project planning more efficient.

 ### 9. Resource and Project Management made easier at a customized level

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Surajit N. | Director - Marketing Research & Insights, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Apart from the ease of resource scheduling by tasks and tracking progress, Float.com can be used in tracking and analysing actual time used by specific tasks. This is a really helpful feature to calculate team effectiveness and refine project costs.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

One thing that would be helpful is the ability of downloading the Booked and Task time used details by Months at a consolidated level. Currently it has to be done month by month

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Resourcing has been streamlined
Resource tracking is made easy
Detailed tasks and allocated hours are accounted and time spent can be checked later

 ### 10. How Float drives our business.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Float enables our business to use a clear, visual forecasting tool. It quite literally drives our business by letting our consulting teams know what they’re doing on a week-to-week basis, while also enabling our project management team to plan for the next year.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

The challenge with Float is that its highly visual interface can sometimes lead people to misuse it like a kind of Tetris game with other people’s time. It’s easy to get so focused on arranging the visuals that you lose sight of the human side of the work.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float is critical to our business by enabling us to forecast our consulting practices time out over the year. It enables us to make key data driven decisions on skills, hiring and strategic placement of resources.

 ### 11. Effortless Work Planning with Float

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krzysztof J. | Strategy Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I love how simple Float.com is, with moving bookings, adding placeholders, and changing time estimates all easily done by pointing, grabbing, and clicking. As a process tool, it allows me to spend less time on processes and more on actual project work, making handling bookings and tracking my work super quick and easy. The initial setup was super easy and hassle-free, which was great for my team.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I'd love to be able to integrate Float with Asana, where I manage my work, so it automatically copy bookings between those two tools.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to track bookings, plan work time, and manage daily tasks, making handling bookings and tracking work super quick and easy. It's a simple process tool that allows me to focus on project work by minimizing time spent on processes.

 ### 12. Enhances Resource Management with Ease, Needs Bulk Entry Optimization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I really find Float.com invaluable for our company. It helps with mapping employees to projects smoothly, and then our HR can easily download reports. This is particularly helpful for tracking who is mapped to what project, the exact hours they are logging, and analyzing resources. I greatly appreciate the ease of logging hours on the website; it's really user-friendly. Additionally, adding notes for each entry is simple and convenient. Another aspect I like is how the company trusts the hours logged on Float without the need for micromanagement, and this trust translates into efficient billing and tracking of resources. The platform provides a clear view of resource availability and workload balance, which is vital for our operations.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I find the bulk entry process a bit cumbersome, especially if I need to check or make changes. Additionally, it would be helpful to have a sandbox or dummy organization environment in Float.com for testing purposes with the API. This would allow users to develop a proof of concept for automating the logging of hours without the risk of affecting real data. Also, the user experience could be confusing for first-time users, as I initially struggled to find the option to log hours. Once I learned where to click, it was no longer confusing, but that initial setup was challenging.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com helps map employees to projects and download reports for HR. It's easy to log hours, and we rely on it to track hours for billing clients without micromanagement. It supports resource visibility and analytics, making it indispensable for our company.

 ### 13. Easy Task Assignment with Clear, Color-Coded Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy K. | Associate Scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like that i can assign tasks to employees that are visible to all. Also like the different colors to depict field or office tasks

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

that is similar to outlook scheduling. We plan to integrate more and more into our other software so it should be more utilized in the coming months

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps project managers built special teams and to be able to see those teams with one filter in a single place.

 ### 14. Intuitive Scheduling, Real-Time Profitability Insights, and Fantastic Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabir Hussain M. | Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I like Float for its intuitiveness and how easy it is to use. It’s implementation is smooth; it's straightforward to add my schedule in the time-blocking section and quickly get a clear, visual view of what I have on for the day. It’s also simple to check what everyone else is working on throughout the day. It integrates well with our profitability program, which lets us see in real time how profitable certain projects are compared to others. I use it every day along with the rest of my team, and if any issues come up, customer support is fantastic at making sure they’re resolved promptly.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Float’s least helpful feature is probably that, once items are synced from my calendar, they can’t be moved around within the schedule. Sometimes I want to place a timed meeting between two other untimed tasks to block out that time, but I can’t reposition the meeting if it’s stuck at the bottom of the day. Aside from that limitation, Float has been fantastic for my everyday use.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com helps us manage team availability, project workloads, and upcoming deadlines in a clear, reliable way. It takes the guesswork out of scheduling by giving us an accurate view of who’s available, who’s at capacity, and what work is coming up next. As a result, we can spot potential bottlenecks earlier, avoid overbooking, and plan ahead with much more confidence. Overall, it leads to a smoother workflow and a better use of our team’s time.

 ### 15. Streamlined Scheduling with Enhanced Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess R. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I really like the visibility of other schedules on Float.com, which helps my team plan efficiently. It allows us to see when resources are available, making it easier to manage our time. I also find it easy to use and simple for filtering.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

As my team and I don't manage the schedule, we don't know what all of the shading/coding means. It would be helpful to provide the detail obviously when looking at other time scheduled.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to manage my scheduled time and ensure punctuality of my briefs. It provides visibility of team schedules, helping us plan efficiently by showing when resources are available.

 ### 16. Super Convenient Resourcing with Live Schedule Updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Super convenient in terms of resourcing. It used to be such a manual thing and having to like, get an email each day of my resourcing. And now I get live updates when it's been changed, and I just check every day what's on my schedule, and it's just so much simpler. And I think on the rest of the team's side, it's easier as well. Less confusion and waiting around.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I wouldnt say ive noticed any downsides yet.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue of resourcing in an agency, how much manual time that takes and the time of communicating bakc and forth. all solved through float

 ### 17. Intuitive Time Tracking with Room for Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I find Float.com pretty simple and much nicer and simpler than the tools we used before. It has a pretty intuitive interface, especially once you start to understand how to use the filters. These filters help me focus on the data that's most relevant, get a good overview, and understand who still needs to log their hours or if we need more capacity. It's easy to see relevant things with those filters.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Maybe I'm not really as proficient, so I would like to see if there's a way that I can store my filters so I don't need to set them up all the time. That would be useful for me.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Float.com to track my team and my own hours, making invoicing easier. The filters help me focus on relevant data, manage project capacity, and see if additional resources are needed.

 ### 18. A Tool for Managing Resources Efficiently

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nihar S. | Client Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I’ve been using Float for a couple of months since we switched from Timely, and it’s been a noticeable upgrade. The user experience feels intuitive, so it’s easy to navigate and manage time efficiently. One of my favorite features is being able to schedule time and view the entire team’s timesheets in one place. That setup makes tracking simpler and gives better visibility into team workloads, which helps us stay organized and keep on top of our tasks. There is a bit of a learning curve at the beginning, but once you get the hang of it, Float becomes a very effective tool for resource management.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

While Float is a great tool overall, there are a few areas I find challenging. To start, the initial setup and learning how to use all the features can feel a bit overwhelming, especially if you’re new to this type of software, and it definitely takes some time to get comfortable with everything. In addition, the platform can sometimes feel a little slow when loading or updating, which is frustrating when you’re trying to move quickly. Lastly, I wish the reporting options were more detailed, since that would make it easier to generate more specific insights around time tracking and overall project progress.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resource Allocation and Planning: Float provides a clear view of team availability, making it easier to distribute work effectively. This helps ensure no one is overloaded and that resources are used efficiently.

Time Tracking: Float simplifies tracking time across different projects and tasks. It helps maintain accurate work-hour records, which is important for billing, payroll, and overall project management.

Project Management: By combining time tracking with project management, Float supports keeping projects on schedule and within budget. It lets users set deadlines, monitor progress, and manage timelines more smoothly.

Visibility and Reporting: Float generates detailed reports that show how time and resources are being used. This makes it easier to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.

Efficient Time Tracking: Float makes logging work hours straightforward, reducing errors and helping ensure my timesheets stay up to date. As a result, I can manage my tasks better and meet deadlines more consistently.

Better Project Management: With Float, I can track project progress and handle deadlines without friction. It keeps me organized and focused, which helps me complete projects on time and within budget.

Improved Resource Management: Float shows how my team’s time is being allocated, so I can make better decisions about who should work on what and avoid overloading team members.

Detailed Reporting: Float’s reporting tools provide useful insights into how we use time and resources, helping us spot opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency.

 ### 19. Easy to Use with Great Customization Options

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hayley R. | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

It's really easy to use compared to similar tools, and it has good customization options

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Nothing :) I don't love the way my company has it set up, but that has nothing to do with the product itself!

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a project manager, Float lets me see who's available when. As an organization, this helps us make sure our staff is hitting targets for billable hours.

 ### 20. Intuitive Interface and Effective Task Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea G. | Post Producer, Motion Pictures and Film, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I use Float.com in the office to manage daily tasks. I like its UX/UI design and useful tools like automatic calculation of allocated hours and time off management. The interface is simple and straightforward, there's no need to enter formulas to do calculations like on Excel. I find it practical and intuitive. Also, setting up Float.com was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Working in production and post-production, I would like a tab dedicated to a specific project, where I can individually manage a project timesheet with the progress of ongoing work for each project. I would like to be able to allocate personnel and update the timesheet with the progress status to keep the managers aligned.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com is a more dynamic and intuitive alternative to Excel for managing daily tasks, with a simple and straightforward interface that doesn't require formulas for calculations. I love the UX/UI design and useful tools like automatic calculation of allocated hours.

 ### 21. Intuitive Interface, Perfect for Team Scheduling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mika K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I use Float.com to receive tasks and scheduling from my project managers at a design agency. I love that it gives me a clear overview of who is working on what and what project codes are connected to my work. The ability to see when I and others can have holidays is extremely helpful. I find Float.com very intuitive, and it’s easy to filter different roles and projects. Since we are mid-sized teams that sometimes work together, I can easily choose which groups, roles, projects, and people I want to view. This makes it simple to see who in the other team might be involved and who I will work with in the upcoming weeks. As a designer, I use quite limited functions on Float.com, but I have nothing that needs improvement. It's a great step up compared to the previous project management tools we've used, and the overviews are fantastic. Switching was very easy for me as a user.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

There is almost nothing i dislike.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Float.com gives me a clear overview of tasks and schedules, making it easy to filter roles and projects. It's intuitive for managing who I'm working with and plan holidays.

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Simple interface, easy to use, lots of important information ready to view across all projects.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows me to easily track my time, and it helps the business to track budgets and time spent on projects. Prior to using Float, we had a disjointed system that meant a LOT of manual input.

I like that Float.com is well designed and very intuitive, which makes it easy to use. I really appreciate being able to see how work is distributed across our entire company. The drag and drop format for logging my personal time is quite nice and convenient.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I'm a bit confused how sometimes what appears in my row on the schedule tab is different from on the 'Log my time' tab. Maybe a tool tip somewhere that explains what makes those two views different. Or unify it and make it so that as I log my time, my schedule updates on that tab as well.

 ### 32. Fantastic Color-Coded Blocks for Visual Thinkers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle W. | Associate Copywriter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

Honestly it's the great colour coding of my blocks. I'm a visual person, it's fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

Scrolling horizontally across the schedule assumes that someone is using a track pad or has an apple mouse.
I can't click and drag to shift it across. Or alternatively, there's no bar to drag, or hover buttons on either side to move to different weeks.
The little white arrow in the grey box at the top right only allows me to go forward as well.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying organised and hitting deadlines. Basically: time management.

 ### 33. Helps me plan patient follow ups and content work in one schedule

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content. I tried Float.com to plan my clinic work and content work in one place. I created small projects for patient follow-ups and content planning, and blocked time for things like diet notes and patient guidance. This helped me see how my day is split between clinic work and content work.

The calendar view made it easy to place work into time blocks. When clinic timings changed, I could just drag the blocks and adjust the schedule instead of planning again from start. This is useful because clinic timings change often.

The first setup was simple and did not take much time. I could start using it without doing anything complicated and plan my week in a simple way.

I also liked keeping clinic work and content work in separate projects. It made my routine work easier to manage and did not feel heavy to use. So Overall, it helped me plan my work in a more organized way.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

One small thing I noticed is that when I was adding my first project and time blocks, I had to click around a bit to find the right options. It is not confusing, but the first setup takes a little time.
Apart from that, the planning view worked well for my clinic and content work, and I did not face any real problems in normal use.

**What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Float.com, it was hard to clearly see how much time was going into clinic work and how much time was going into content work. Things were planned in different places, so it was easy to miss or overlap tasks.
Float.com helped by putting my work into one simple schedule. I could place patient follow-ups, diet notes, and patient education content into time blocks and see my day in a clearer way. This made it easier to plan my work and avoid doing too many things at the same time.
It also helped me separate clinic tasks and content planning into small projects, so I could see where my time was going. This gave me better control over my routine work and made planning feel more organized and less stressful.

 ### 50. Robust Project Planning with Float, Excellent for Mid-Sized Companies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arpan D. | Brand Protection Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Float.com?**

I find Float to be an excellent tool for project management and task tracking within my organization. It significantly enhances our efficiency by allowing us to easily add and log multiple tasks and manage our schedules transparently across all levels, from analysts to CEOs. The visibility it provides to higher management and colleagues about daily tasks and time utilizations is invaluable. Float also excels in generating reports, which makes tracking team activities and projects straightforward. I appreciate Float's capability to automate scheduling tasks, which alleviates the need to perform these tasks manually, saving us a significant amount of time. The software's high level of customization makes it preferable over others we've used, such as Timely, ensuring our reporting and planning processes are both comprehensive and clear. Float's ability to reduce time spent on tasks by over 50% due to its automation features is another huge benefit. Furthermore, even though we don’t integrate external systems with Float, its wide range of built-in features is more than adequate to meet our needs, making it a self-sufficient tool. The software's robust project planning and reporting functionalities are key reasons why I would choose Float again. Overall, Float has proven to be a superior solution for our needs, and I would confidently recommend it to both large and midsize organizations, rating it a perfect 10 for its effective task management capabilities and beneficial features.

**What do you dislike about Float.com?**

I found some initial setup issues with Float, such as lagging, since it is a web-based platform rather than an application. This led to a slow response when logging time for specific tasks, sometimes causing the page to become unresponsive for up to ten to fifteen minutes. Additionally, I would appreciate more customization in reporting, as currently, Float restricts reports to daily, weekly, and monthly time frames. It would be beneficial to pull reports for entire years or multiple years to better identify workflow gaps.
