1. Float is so user-friendly that even the tech novices on our team got the hang of it in no time.
2. No more overloading or underusing our team members – Float helps us allocate resources like a pro.
3. We can shift project timelines with a simple drag-and-drop – it's like magic.
4. Float keeps our team connected and informed in real-time.
5. With Float, we're able to plan for the future and make smarter decisions.
6. Float's reports give us the inside scoop, helping us make data-driven improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Lack of a desktop app.
2. It requires one to login too often. It might be for security reasons. But there should be an option to retain the login if one's using a personal computer.
3. Another option I would like to see is to set the heirarchy of the team in Float. So assigning tasks can be more easier and streamlined.
4. A feature to add subtasks is missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy generate reports for all my departament as csv and easy trasform into excel file. Easy to check basics like general view on time per specific project or task etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In reporting page whend selected: "certain user" and "certain user" and "certain user" and switching between them the app is often crashing and rolls up all the users, sometimes when have this view I must refresh between it's switching screen itself on whole company wiev (in reporting), it's not huge problem but when I'm looking for something specific for a bit longer it's forcing me to reload or reopen rolled screen (chrome browser). The Scheduling and time logging is working very slowly :( Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We've been using Float for almost a half year now. We are very happy with how fluently it works. It distinguishes itself from other tools because it it not trying to be everything you might ever need. Yes, having all in one spot is sometimes handy, but not always. I you just need a handy tool that allows to do resourceplanning, have a clear resource and project overview and add some basic tasks, than this it it!
The only feature that would make it even more perfect is if we could give taks our own progress labels.
The tool increased our teamsplanning efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe have a littlebit more integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Float has been designed well to have a intuitive user interface which is easy it to pick up and learn. Additionally, it promotes a balance between home life and work life as time recording encourages me to to identify signs of overworking. Overall it helps create a healthier and happier work life. Time recording in general is burdensome or very administrative. I try to record my time at the end of each week as a habit but I tend to forget. I alos receive several promotion emails from Float which is a bit annoying. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Float is super easy to use! It's valuable for our team to track resources across projects and issues. We can easily see and modify resource allocations in an appealing visual UI that also has all needed details. Recent platform updates allowing us to assign multiple resources to a task and to duplicate allocations across multiple weeks are very helpful and welcomed! I'm glad that Float doesn't try to do more than it does - we don't need it to also priduce Gantt charts or track actual time spent - we have other tools for those, and such features would risk bogging down a simple yet powerful product. My main complaint is that the UI for toggling between different modes (add/edit, split, link, etc.) is a bit clunky - it requires right-clicking an existing allocation block, but sometimes acts weird, especially when using a trackpad that requires ctrl-click. Also, when creating a new project or client, the system defaults to limited access rather than all-organization access, and so we often have to go and request edit access to projects that should be editable by default. But these issues are minor compared to the overall usefulness of the platform! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Can the old design be reused, is there an option to switch to that?
