"It's great for task scheduling, but lacking some basic stuff for project planning and reporting."

What do you like best about Float.com?

It's easy to schedule a task and move it around. The API is available which is great to get the data out of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

I don't like how the tool looks, visually. Especially the project planning part. Many basic features that are available in other project management tools are not available, for example the Gantt chart is not really there. The reporting part is very weak. A lot of people in the office like the tool, I think, but for me it's not the best because of some basic things are missing. We ended up using Qlik to build reporting part and the Gantt chart. That you need to separate the schedules in order to mix the number of hours on a specific day

Sometimes the information is not displayed immediately when you check the reports

What do you like best about Float.com?

It is user friendly and intuitive. With its interactive dashboard, I can easily show the volume of work that I am getting. The workload of my teammates are also visible to me, so it's easy to get coordinated and work out resourcing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

It is easy to update for different projects and allocate time to different tasks within this. It is also helpful that you are able to colour code, we use this to be able to identify which manager the job relates to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

It can be difficult when running off reports, for example upcoming time booked to a client in the next month, to obtain the correct data and sometimes needs a bit of trial and error to obtain the correct output data from this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its fast and user friendly. team meetings go a lot faster now and we have more time to do actual work. One last feature is that make easy to coordinate work between teams in the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our company accountan software is based on Deltek and we need to log time twice, one in float and one in deltek so it will be nice way for this 2 to interact or add a package for accounting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
