"Veratile and easy to use project/people management tool"

What do you like best about Float.com?

Float is intuitive to use. I really like the layout, clear and with lots of colour options for different staff and projects. Staff (and admin access levels) can be added, revised and removed easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

Unfortunately, you don't seem to be able to move a batch of tasks similaneously. so if project is delayed, every task for every project member has to be moved individually (which can run into 100's). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

When dragging and moving jobs around they always revert back to one day, which can be frustrating. It would be great if it was easier to update client details and leave notes on client files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Float is great, really easy to use"

What do you like best about Float.com?

continuously tweaking features for the better to further improve upon the UI/UX. My project management team did a lot of research on resource management tools and Float was the only one that allowed for such a granular view (i.e., instead of planning sprints in 2 weeks, it's day by day). We needed that for our business as we are run day-to-day with sometimes very small tasks (0.5-1hr) and Float was the only one allowing us to get that granular. Further, whenever we've had an issue the Support team is very quick and responsive to helping us! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

The Reporting tools aren't as great and well-organized as our Finance/Billing team would like. But the front-end is superior to the other tools my team considered so we are still using on that front. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

The ability to set up jobs and duplicate these across multiple employees. The automated colour coding. The ability to only show certain employees and save that as a favourite because it is controlled in query string. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

When you add one long line of a job e.g. from Jan - April, you can't add a random day where an employee isn't working on that job or task. We get around this by adding the task week by week then adjusting when we add annual leave etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

What do you like best about Float.com?

What do you like best about Float.com?

I really like the simplicity of Float, as you get everything done with drag and drop. Filling a week of our 15+ people is a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

There are some "glitches". One glitch is related to making the autocomplete more obvious, because when you delete the whole text in the field it stays there. Another glitch is that sometimes the sync breaks on other clients and they have to refresh to pull-in changes.

Their Slack integration is really basic at the moment, as it streams notifications over Slack. It would be way cooler and useful if it could send the weekly schedule to each member. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sharing the schedule with users is really nice and useful, but think carefully about the users you want to schedule, because it's not good if they'll find their row empty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
