Demandbase offers great documentation in their resource center with trainings, certifications, and pre-packaged playbooks allowing you to get proven ABM programs in-market quickly. We have also received phenomenal support from our Account Manager and CS team who are knowledgeable and fast to respond to any questions. Our Demandbase team will loop in solution engineers and technical product support teams to help us resolve integration issues. The UX in Demandbase Classic isn't terrible, but a little sub-par for a tool aimed at Marketers. That said, it looks like Demandbase One addresses this issue. The platform could improve the sync/integration with Salesforce. Most companies have poor CRM data hygiene (incomplete, duplicate, incorrect information), and Demandbase has struggled to sync data back to accounts in cases with duplicate accounts or accounts with inaccurate/incomplete information. Demandbase has grown into a true ABM platform, where we can manage almost all portions of our ABM program. The addition of site analytics has been very valuable, as we can analyze not only our ABM activity through Demandbase, but also the performance of all our other campaigns through the tracking of UTM parameters. The data Demandbase provides is clearly valued by my leadership team and C-suite alike. The Targeting solution has proven to be the most cost-effective digital advertising option available for providing the air-cover to match our other ABM initiatives. While the entire platform has proven critical to my work as a marketer, my sales team has gotten less value out of it. We work in an industry where we know exactly the accounts we need to go after, so they don't use it from an account identification perspective. They appreciate the ability to see when an account has been on site, what they account has interacted with, and what campaigns they've engaged with. But like all sales people, they want to know who the person was doing the activity. We sell into massive enterprise accounts with tens of thousands of employees, but we only really care about 9-10 of those employees. Demandbase's ABM solution offerings are extensive and continuously being updated to stay competitive in the market. They are adding the ability to self-serve your own ad campaigns, which is a big improvement. The main platform for Audience identification is easy to use and gives a wealth of information. And the site analytics is very helpful for improving our strategy. I also like that we can add unlimited users to access the platform. This is an expensive platform, especially for advertising compared to other platforms. There's currently no Microsoft CRM integration, which makes measurement more difficult for us. Also, when looking at the Account level details, the Example pages are often not in line with the keywords we are really interested in, which can be confusing to the sales people looking at their accounts, and makes me question the intent on some of them. That requires additional work on our profile, but it seems like it's a guess and test process at times (which can be time consuming). I need to learn a bit more about intent and how accurate the data is, but I've been hearing more and more good things about Bombora which Demandbase does not use. Being able to not only understand account level interest/behavior but also uncover prospects that I don't know about. It's helpful for monitoring people over time. I appreciate the flexibility Engagio gives you in being able to slice & dice engagement data and generate reports to stay on top of things. My weekly digest email with the most engaged accounts and people. Being able to see the effects of an ABM campaign or for that matter, any other activity is doing and immediately acting on them makes the prospecting a lot more effective. Also, the specific ABM campaign digest email are great. You get a lot of insights and who is exactly engaging with what type of content so. I have used several ABM Platforms and the things that I like the most about DemandBase are:
- Easy to use and simple to set-up
- Reporting functionality (allows you to show trend over time and compare different cohorts against each other) to see how your accounts are moving through the funnel.
