For retail EDI, the right provider depends on whether you only need compliance with one retailer or need to scale across many retail trading partners, systems, and document types. Retail suppliers often need to support 850 purchase orders, 855 acknowledgments, 856 ASNs, 810 invoices, 846 inventory updates, 860 PO changes, and retailer-specific mapping rules.

Cleo Integration Cloud is a good fit for suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and logistics teams that need retail EDI compliance plus ERP, warehouse, shipping, marketplace, and eCommerce integration. It supports partner onboarding, EDI mapping, AS2/SFTP connectivity, document monitoring, and exception management so teams can reduce chargeback risk and avoid manual troubleshooting.

If the business only needs a simple portal, WebEDI may be enough. If the business needs integrated automation across ERP, WMS, TMS, and retail partners, Cleo Integration Cloud is the better evaluation path.
