We had an issue in VSAX, where endpoints would go offline. They would normally never come back online. With datto I am able to connect correctly the first time with no issues. The UI is very easy to use and is not so clicky. Overall very happy with the switch **What do you dislike about Datto RMM?** We have not run into any issues with Datto. **What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to remote into our end user systems quickly and effectively. It is also helping with our windows patch management. As well as logging and showing errors our endpoints run into for preventive maintenance. It is very easy to use and there are multiple ways to deploy an agent. I love that it is browser based so I can access it from anywhere, securely with MFA. Customer support is great and responds quick whenever there is an issue. I use Datto every day and it makes my job so much easier. Also, being able to create custom monitors and create filters is a game changer! **What do you dislike about Datto RMM?** Nothing at all. Theres a variety of options, components, and scripts available included in the product. The ability to manage 365, have ransomware and security monitoring with additional licences etc is a great addition to the base package. There are numerous integrations and an API that has basic functionality, but still useful for automating what is available. **What do you dislike about Datto RMM?** Ive found a slight decline in the product functionality, development, and support since Kaseya took over **What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Great at monitoring a lot of events, services etc, and the remote tools are decent enough. Ability to schedule jobs on the remote management system when viewing the ticket from the PSA solution. This functionality is not limited to the PSA, as integration with the Backup Solution, IT Documentation Solution and Cybersecurity module is also a game changer in saving time and money. **What do you dislike about Datto RMM?** It is very hard from a system development side to understand the solution, due to the way they make it user friendly for simple MSP's to onboard customers. It took a while for their consultants to explain the background processes for anybody using their platform to use some of the more powerfull capability. Something i would like to see if the ability to daisy chain self-healing scripts as a free storage ticket can be resolved in multiple ways, but its currently limited to 1 action. **What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Moving from N-Central to Datto RMM, our biggest pain was a single plain of glass experience. Their features are more up to date and allow better control with 3rd party integration already set up. Although we are farely new to the platform (3 months), we have seen significant improvements on our security standards, and automation capabilities. ### 14. I don't like switching back and forth between them. Also the Mobile management function being removed has left an empy hole in the tool. I suggest adding the back or adding another product to take it place. the policies don't lways update correctly i somple script component fails to update...the network mapping technology needs to be better. i know the opens ource project that it is using and it can be better. Also the customer support is amazing and really seem to care and be helpful. **What do you dislike about Datto RMM?** The new UI is not 100% equal to the legacy UI however you still have acces to both so no big deal. **What problems is Datto RMM solving and how is that benefiting you?** Being a cloud service provider Datto RMM solves the issue of us not being able to phyiscally access devices and allows us to easily monitor, patch and support endpoints from a centralized dashboard. When we need to work on machines without users seeing us the agent browser is really good. We use the remote connection as a backup for our other remote tools.
