I continue to find Splashtop Remote Access to be a reliable file sharing and backup solution.

I also find it easy to remotely work on the server itself. Recently, I needed to update fonts on an old InDesign file. It was easier for me to do the work on the server, rather than transfer the files to my local computer. Everything worked as expected and I was done with that project rather quickly. I had previously commented that I didn't care for a change in text size in the file transfer window. The size of text on my local computer was larger than the text on the server side of the window. That has been changed so that both columns of text are the same size, which makes it much easier to compare the contents of my local computer and the remote server. I like that our company can have multiple computers and multiple users. I also like that you are able to have access to other accounts without having to log out. I currently have 2 different companies that I work with and they both utilize splashtop and it makes it really easy to go back and forth between the two accounts. What I like best about Splashtop Remote Access is how easy and reliable it is. Setup was simple, and I was able to guide my client through their side of the process over the phone. I like 3 things, 1 it is affordable and the more licenses the more of a discount you get per license. 2, As our IT guy at our business being able to login to a co workers computer at the same time as them makes it easier to help them really quick or show them something. 3, the amount of PCs we are able to remote into is awesome. Sometimes, things like shortcuts like holding control to zoom in or out stop working. But that could be a streamer being out of date I am unsure what causes it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Splashtop Remote Access to work from home on our office computers, which is convenient for our admin and management team, including when someone is injured. It also lets us work offsite during PTO and make up some hours. I like having access to my entire desktop so I can use the software I need, including a hospital portal and my Keeper password app, from anywhere. It gives new physicians a chance to get used to their desktop, software, and navigation at home before they start. I like Splashtop Business because I have fewer issues logging in. Changing monitor screens is helpful, and having additional computers to log into is convenient for my IT work. I found Splashtop Remote Access’s pricing and overall service better than TeamViewer, and I liked that it kept developing faster. It’s pretty seamless, and I can log in from my phone, tablet, Mac, or PC. It’s very handy, has gotten me out of a couple of binds, and helps streamline our work. I like the security: when I log in from an unfamiliar place, I get an email notification and have to use two-factor authentication, and it can block an unusual login attempt. It feels more secure than what I’m used to, which is critical for my work. It’s also very smooth and collaborative. The setup was a little rickety at the start. I initially had individual licenses for each staff member, and Splashtop Remote Access only let me see one computer rather than the fleet. I use Splashtop Remote Access for remote desktop support, including helping remote workers and sites without an IT person. I like that I can use remote PowerShell, Command Prompt, or file sharing without fully accessing a user's PC. I can quickly run PowerShell scripts to install or update software or troubleshoot, and CMD is useful for many things. Moving files through file sharing saves time compared with trying to put them in the user's C drive through File Explorer. It was also very easy to switch over. Sometimes a user's PC doesn't recognize my password or account until they restart the PC or Splashtop Streamer. Remotely restarting Splashtop Streamer in the app does not always bring it back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Splashtop Remote Access to keep visibility into my endpoint users and computers, update and patch endpoints, help users with their daily tasks, and access remote servers. It gives me the remote access I need for my fully remote job, and makes it easy to share files and screens, navigate endpoint environments when there’s a problem, and keep multiple remote sessions active. I like how quick it is to configure and how simple it is to use multiple screen setups and move between desktops. Setup saves me time: I can email users a link to set up a machine, and authentication is easy. It’s also less expensive than some other options we’ve used. I also like being able to create custom groups, quickly give individual users access to the desktops and endpoints they need, and maintain administrator access. I like how easy Splashtop Remote Access is to use and customize. I can see all of our three or more monitors at once or split them across my home setup. File transfer makes it easy to upload quick fixes or debug files and solve problems more quickly. I can also access our office computers from home or when I’m far away, start renders, review work, and use local AI models. It lets me support clients around the world without traveling for most troubleshooting. Setup was extremely easy for me as an admin, and deploying it on new computers takes one click.
