"Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I like how well SharePoint integrates with Microsoft 365, which makes it easy to collaborate across Teams, OneDrive, and Office apps. It centralizes document storage, version control, and permissions in one secure place, making collaboration more organized and reliable for larger teams. Its governance and compliance features are especially helpful for managing structured content at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

SharePoint can be challenging to learn at first, especially without experienced administrators. Managing site layouts, permissions, and navigation requires planning, and deeper customization often needs extra tools or technical knowledge. The overall experience can also depend heavily on how well the platform is set up and maintained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Collaboration and Document Management with SharePoint"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I like best about Microsoft SharePoint is how easy it makes it to store and access documents in one place. Instead of hunting through emails or different folders, everything is organized and easy to find. I also like that multiple people can work on the same file without confusion,it keeps things updated and avoids version issues. Overall, it just makes collaboration a lot smoother. What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Nothing! it made my life really easy. one thing they can improve is the sorting of files feature, the sort ascending and desscending doesn't work for numbers, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Collaboration and Productivity with SharePoint"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

As a Chartered Accountant in the Record-to-Report function, what I like best about Microsoft SharePoint is its ease of use,the interface is intuitive enough for finance teams to adopt quickly without lengthy training. The ease of implementation was another advantage; setting up document libraries and workflows for our month-end processes was straightforward.

From an operational standpoint, SharePoint offers a strong number of features, especially for version control, approvals, and centralized data access, which are essential in R2R. Its ease of integration with Excel, Teams, and Power BI makes cross-functional collaboration seamless.

We have a high frequency of use during month-end and audits, and SharePoint consistently supports stable performance. Lastly, the customer support has been reliable whenever we needed assistance with permissions or workflow adjustments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Microsoft SharePoint is that it can feel overly complex when managing large volumes of financial documents. Setting up permissions for different stakeholders often becomes time-consuming, and even small configuration errors can disrupt our workflows.

Search results are not always precise, which can slow down month-end activities when we need quick access to supporting documents. At times, the system performance lags during peak periods, especially when multiple teams are accessing the same libraries.

While SharePoint integrates well with other Microsoft tools, certain finance-specific customizations require IT support, which reduces flexibility during tight closing timelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Allows work to continue from anywhere with an internet connection!"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

This has been a lifesaver in many ways. First, it allows us to store documents in a cloud based system so that we aren't bogging down our desktops with large files. Secondly and most importantly, it has allowed us to work from anywhere. During the pandemic we could work from home and not miss a beat because as soon as someone saved something to SharePoint we all had access to it. Our entire company has benefitted from this software. What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

The only thing that I would change is that I haven't figured out a way to save documents directly to sharepoint if I'm not using a microsoft program. For example, we use a PDF program quite frequently and in this case I have to save it to my desktop and then move it onto sharepoint and then remember to go back and delete it from my desktop so I don't have multiple versions. That's the only real issue I've come across. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Convenient, and Customizable—A Step Up from Access"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

It's easier to use than Access, convenient, and customizable. It makes finding a list of items simple Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

The most challenging part for me has been attempting to integrate an Excel workbook, as I can only import one tab at a time. Additionally, it is necessary for the fields in SharePoint to match those in Excel, which adds another layer of difficulty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"File Sync Issues Undermine SharePoint’s Strong Integration"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I appreciate most about Microsoft SharePoint is its seamless integration with the broader Microsoft ecosystem. The way it works together with tools such as Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and Power Automate streamlines our daily workflows and ensures all our information remains centralized. SharePoint proves to be especially effective when handling structured data—its lists, tables, and data management capabilities are both robust and adaptable, enabling us to create tailored solutions without requiring significant development effort. When it comes to usability and deployment, SharePoint fits naturally into organizations that already rely on Microsoft 365, which helps minimize the learning curve and accelerates adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

What I find most frustrating about SharePoint is the slow synchronization of documents, which sometimes results in duplicate files and causes confusion within the team. This negatively affects teamwork and collaboration, making the overall experience less seamless than it could be. While the platform offers a wide range of features, the abundance of options can make straightforward tasks feel unnecessarily complicated. Although integration capabilities are strong, ongoing performance issues—particularly with file synchronization—undermine the system's reliability and demand extra effort to prevent inconsistencies. "Highly Customizable Collaboration Tool That Simplifies Intranet Management"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

It is included as part of the base licensing and serves as a highly effective collaboration tool. Implementation is straightforward, and its endless customizability allows it to be used daily throughout our business. It greatly simplifies intranet management, document storage, and collaborative work. We have integrated it with workflow tools to take advantage of the list functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

While the included storage is fairly generous, expanding your storage further can become quite costly if you need a significant increase. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""Seamless Sharing: A Comprehensive Review of SMB for Efficient File and Printer Management""
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

One of the best things about Microsoft ShareMailbox is its seamless integration with the entire Microsoft ecosystem. It allows teams to collaborate effortlessly, as emails, calendar events, and tasks are all centralized. The ability to share a mailbox with multiple users makes it especially useful for team communication, while keeping everything organized and accessible in one place. The security features are also top-notch, ensuring that sensitive data remains protected while still being easily accessible by authorized users. It's a real productivity booster for teams that need to stay in sync! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

One thing that can be a bit tricky with Microsoft ShareMailbox is the initial setup, especially when it comes to managing multiple users or permissions. It may take a little time to get the hang of, especially if you're not very familiar with the platform. Occasionally, syncing can take a bit longer than expected, but once everything is up and running smoothly, it’s a very useful tool for collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for sharing information across a large divided company"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

We use sharepoint a lot at my current company as well as at previous employers and it's a useful tool to collaborate on documents together as a team. I use it a lot for project management; from roadmap planning to go/no-go slides, it's all organized and it's so easy to spin up a new doc and share it with the right people to get collab going. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

Sharepoint relies on the people using it to keep things organized, and a lot of people aren't organized. Over time, it can become difficult to find useful information.

Sometimes I've noticed that my edits get overwritten because they don't save quite right, not sure if that's specific to my implementation or not though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Integrative Power but Needs Better Usability"
What do you like best about Microsoft SharePoint?

I use Microsoft SharePoint to store files for my remote organization, ensuring access across various time zones. I appreciate its seamless integration with other Microsoft products, like Teams and Outlook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SharePoint?

However, its interface is not intuitive, making it hard to access personal files, and defaults can be confusing. Setup was straightforward, but my recommendation is a six out of ten. Customer support can also leave a lot to be desired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
