Rippling has helped us eliminate multiple HR apps by bringing everything together into one solid solution. A lot of the manual administrative work has been improved and automated, which has added clarity and accuracy to our processes. The employee lifecycle is also well managed in this app, from hiring and training to offboarding. HR reporting and the financial benefits are well documented and easy to share through the platform. Gusto is solving the headache of payroll and HR by automating things that are easy to mess up, like calculating pay, handling direct deposit, tracking hours, and filing payroll taxes. It also keeps important employee info in one place (pay stubs, tax forms like W-2/1099, onboarding documents), so you don’t have to chase paperwork or wonder if something was submitted correctly.

For me, that benefits me because I get paid accurately and on time, I can quickly check my paystubs and tax documents whenever I need them, and it makes time tracking and payroll much more straightforward, less confusion, fewer mistakes, and less back-and-forth with managers. Sending out 1099's to our subcontractors was confusing to me. I was unable to enter in every subs payment that we made to them every week and instead, I decided to wait until the end of the year to enter the total year's pay for each sub, but I was unable to do that with ADP. I originally missed the Chrome plugin, but after continued use I don’t really need it anymore. The travel reimbursement flow is incredibly easy, and I recently used the travel extension to book a flight, which was seamless and intuitive. Being able to edit anything I want about my payroll, my 401k, get into my benefits and print new cards. I am also able to request time off as well as approve time off. our learning center is integrated as well which is nice. It is the one stop shop for HR and more. Basically, at first I was scared because it is the first time I have to use a third party platform to get paid. I thought my money was gone because it did not appear immediately on my bank account. The issue of being paid or not and have to be checking your mobile bank app to check if it was received or not. In here, you receive your money even before the pay day and it has the analytics part that shows you exactly how much you are earning, that way you can control how much of your time its invested at work, and if you need more to reach your economic goal. earlier financial data was scattered across multiple systems and spreadsheets causing delays and inconsistencies, it centralizes accounting data into one platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency. this helps me analyze trends faster, identify cost issues early, and provide timely insights to senior management, month end closing and reporting timeline have improved significantly. it has improved financial transparency and governance, leadership has easy access to key financial reports and coordination between finance ,sales and accounting teams is smoother . Custom report writing is a bit cumbersome and takes some learning especially when it comes to understanding reporting groups. When adding new accounts the user needs to be aware that the new account may not be properly mapped to one of the groups and could therefore put reports out of balance. BambooHR has solved our problem of fragmented employee data by housing everything from on boarding to performance in one Central searchable hub. It has eliminated the need for manual tracking of time of requests via email, which has drastically reduced our administrative response time. While NetSuite is powerful, it can feel overly complex for everyday users, especially when simple tasks require deep configuration or workarounds. Expensify scans all the receipts and invoices automatically and extract their data so there are lots of instances where the data accuracy reduces for those documents we need to manually update the data then and store it so whenever these type of scenario arises it becomes time consuming. The best feature of expensify is that it provides detailed reports of monthly expenses and it becomes easy for our account manager to calculate all the expenses and do future budget planning. The richness of the product requires more serious support from Acumatica that we seem to have difficulty accessing, at times. We currently use Acumatica as our VAR, and they have structural issues that have led to a negative experience. The transition from Sage 100 was initially painful, taking 3 years to convert. Although handled on an organization-by-organization basis, the categorization options can often seem to roll over each other and without clear examples or documented rules for each category, selecting the right one can cause a negative experience. Previous expense tracking tools we used acted more like spreadsheets and outlined, line by line, whatever you entered. They offered selections for things like expense categories, dates, etc. but they did not contain the easy-to-use UI of Emburse Expense, and they also did not offer the incredibly easy-to-upload receipt tracking feature. Payhawk has significantly streamlined our expense and invoice processing at Avado. It’s taken over many of the manual tasks we used to handle on Kloo like receipt collection, matching, and approvals; which has been a huge relief for the Accounts team. The automations save time, reduce errors, and give us much better visibility into company spending.
