The sync performance can be slow, especially with large files, and offline access isn’t as strong as other tools. It also doesn’t offer zero-knowledge encryption, which might matter for highly sensitive data. Zoho WorkDrive helps our team keep all files in one organized place instead of scattered across personal drives. The shared Team Folders make it easy for everyone to access the right documents, work together in real time, and avoid version confusion. It really helps me managing multiple clients at the same time, one of my biggest headaches was locating the right version of a document when time was tight. M-Files solves that by offering their Smart Search and Organization. Now I can find contract, report or client file in second without digging through folder hierarchies. Which means better responses and professionalism with clients. Also another important this is again create proper document type, create a template, assign it to the proper folder and employee, this company has an AI that I have briefly talked about before, and it's suggestions speed up the process by at least 50%. To be honest, the things I dislike about Hudu are actively being worked on. If I had 20 things I didn't like about Hudu when we first implemented, I now no longer have those dislikes because the great development team has developed changes or add-ons. The biggest problem my company faces without Hudu is the Knowledge base and document management for all our properties. We own and run many hotels and other businesses, and being able to easily separate the entities while keeping everything in the same place was exactly what we needed. XfilesPro seamlessly connects to an external database holding 10's of thousands of documents related to our customers product records. This allows our customer users to find, open, download and share documents within their company and with their customers. The downside in the beginning was the setup. Because BlueDocs offers so much, we had to put thought into how to structure our folders and categories to keep it organised. Some of the customisation options, like building internal landing pages, weren’t immediately obvious either. BlueDocs has brought order to the chaos we used to experience with scattered documents and inconsistent processes. The biggest downside is that it lacks cloud-based access. It’s an on-premise system, so if you're working remotely, you won’t be able to access your files unless your office sets up a workaround. Troubleshooting OCR-related issues can be quite challenging and often requires unexpected workarounds, which is surprising given that OCR is a core feature. While I am usually able to accomplish what I need thanks to these workarounds, there is definitely room for improvement. The audit log presents a similar situation. It records who performed an action on a document in Global Search, but it does not capture exactly what was done. Sometimes it can be difficult to navigate the different offerings to know what is included in "packages" and what are bolt-ons. There is a cost involved. The main problem the open text textended ECM is solving for us is the ease of use and the utilization of time. It benifits us by saving us a lot of time by bringing all the content at one place and easy to access UI and features. I really wish we could upload a client via Excel template. It's apparently possible by sending to Redtail, and this may have been updated, but we do a lot in Excel.
