The onboard team also made themselves available when connecting to our clients and were very discreet and accommodating. **What do you dislike about XfilesPro?** Nothing at the moment. The only challenge I had was that our internal installation user guide was slightly outdated and didn't mirror the features in the installed packages. I was able to find some online materials (Youtube) of xFilesPro, but the materials there are also a bit outdated. Each case shared creates a linked case in the others respective Salesforce environment. The XfilesPro application lets us then easily upload the attachments associated with the case to Salesforce, transfers them to our Sharepoint site, and links them to the case in the other Salesforce org, where they can be read or downloaded. This tool has also been a great way to reduce the amount of file storage we are using for attachments in Salesforce. Throughout our years of using the tool, the XfilesPro support team has been great! From the initial project customization and implementation, to the on-going support, the team has always been quick to respond and willing to jump in and help resolve any issues in a timely manner. **What do you dislike about XfilesPro?** With our recent upgrade to 8.2.3, the XfilesPro team has implemented new connection refreshing capabilities which makes refreshing our connection to Sharepoint much easier. Before this enhancement, the steps you had to go through to refresh the connection annually was a bit tedious, but now it is just a single click. Overall, it's been a great, cost effective solution for our use case. **What problems is XfilesPro solving and how is that benefiting you?** XfilesPro allows us to share attachments with an external Salesforce Organization. Our process creates replicate cases in an external organizations Salesforce Org, and Xfiles allows us to share the attachments associated with the cases. This allows the internal and external customer support teams to be able to see all attachments for a case, regardless of where the case initiated, making it possible for the support teams of each org to work the shared cases. The XfielsPro support team are very responsive and competent to address an issue if and when something comes up. **What do you dislike about XfilesPro?** "Uploading" a Google Doc is not intuitive, since Google Docs are not actual files but shortcuts. So for a User, uploading a Word document works normally because it is a file. Google Docs can be added to a folder shown on a Salesforce record by moving it or creating a shortcut from Google Drive. The support is also excellent. Whenever we've had an issue, the team can jump onto a video call and get it sorted out, often on the same day. **What do you dislike about XfilesPro?** Nothing really. It does everything we need it to. **What problems is XfilesPro solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the issue of file storage in Salesforce, which is far more expensive than other options such as SharePoint. Without XfilesPro we'd either have to pay a lot more for Salesforce storage, or the team would have to spend more time searching for files in SharePoint. Whenever we have an issue or concern, support is quick to respond, always knowledgeable and friendly. End users find the widget easy to use and the design is very slick. **What do you dislike about XfilesPro?** We were having to do some manual work whenever an account name changed. We often wouldn't notice the disconnect had occurred until someone uploaded a file and it didn't end up in the same folder as was available from the widget. We would then have to go and move the file, rename the main folder and then delete the "duplicate". This has been resolved with the availability of a trigger with the latest version. Therefore, I do not have any dislikes about XFiles Pro **What problems is XfilesPro solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows us to have a suppository of sensitive documents (contracts, signed quotes, invoices, etc) in a restricted area of OneDrive while allowing our end users to view / add to the files, directly from Salesforce, but restrict them from being able to make any modifications. Since it is tied to a license, we are also able to selectively give access, so not all of our users are able to view the sensitive files. ### 18. XFilesPro is pretty simple to use for this purpose and the support staff was very responsive to help us get both Salesforce and Microsoft 365 Sharepoint configured for our files. **What do you dislike about XfilesPro?** The downsides are that it does require individual licensing to see the files stored in Sharepoint via the Salesforce app, but unlicensed users can still fairly quickly access the files directly through our Sharepoint site/fileshare. **What problems is XfilesPro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Archiving files off of Salesforce. ### 32. They can schedule a meeting within one or two days of creating the tickets, and they provide very detailed instructions to address business needs or issues. - The folder structure is flexible and easy to set up, and I can set up different structures for different objects. I like that confidential files are not stored in Salesforce, but uploaded directly to our SharePoint, and I can control file access for certain Salesforce users. - I like the new version of xFiles, which has more intuitive Setup pages and more detailed control on user access. It is very easy to integrate and authenticate now. **What do you dislike about XfilesPro?** Not something I dislike, but a helpful tip that could get it set up more successful. Try to use a simple folder structure and use fields with permanent values as the folder name, e.g. record Id. We initially set up the folder name by concatenating the Account Name and the custom object's record Id. Then we realized many users change the Account Name, which ends up creating another folder in our SharePoint. (Ask the xFiles team's help with planning the folder structure would be beneficial.) **What problems is XfilesPro solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can save files without consuming Salesforce storage and upload the files to our main file management platform SharePoint. We can also control the file access along with the Salesforce object and record sharing settings, so confidential files will be viewable by autherized users only. ### 37.
