The thing I like the most, that it was simple for me to learn. I especially like the Access from anywhere feature, whether I am on my laptop at home, on a train or meeting a client on site, I can open and share documents. Then they also have metadata organization, where instead of remembering folders I search by things that represent that folder, like name, project or even a document type. So the features are very useful and there is a lot of them that we have implemented, and it's a good thing for any customer, and we are in a very specific field which is Farming Business, so our documentation, reports, invoices are very specific. The best thing about this product is their AI, it's awesome, it really understands how to store files, It has been a pleasure using it since it most our our digital paperwork for us Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While it brings benefits to my business, there is a small hurdle that I have noticed. Mainly it's the speed it takes to load filed, updates, features. It's not ridiculous, but still something they can improve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Finding documents becomes almost instant because the system focuses on metadata instead of folders.

2. The workplace stays naturally organized, even when many teams are adding files. So, it is not cluttered or difficult to follow.

3. Permission control is very straight forward, making it easy to share documents securely without overcomplicating things.

1. Some actions take a few extra clicks, which slows down quick tasks like moving or renaming documents.

2. Search results occasionally show too many suggestions, so you need to refine what you type to get the exact file.

3. Custom workflows require some technical guidance, which isn't always easy for non-IT users.

With M-FIles we are now able to bring all our operations into one platform. Whether it's supplier agreements, tap room lease paperwork, or marketing assets, now I can find the specific documents I need within a couple seconds thanks to the Fast Search feature they have, which was greatly explained by their support team. On top the implementation was surprisingly smooth, once we had our initial setup done it just started working. Not a crazy feature, but their interface is very well adjustable, you can pretty much change it to your business needs, remove tabs and options you don't use, and add new ones that are important. At the moment there is only one downside our team has noticed, is the AI assistant. It is hard to make him do the job properly, somehow he manages to add wrong tags to wrong files, which really creates chaos. The metadata search part of this system is clearly the strongest. Once we’ve got everything accurately categorized, looking up a file takes seconds even if we don’t know just where we’ve placed it. Also, we make a great deal of use of the versioning system that’s provided; it’s easy to understand and isn’t an activity we’ve got reversed very many times now that we know how useful it can actually prove. The setup took longer than we had anticipated, and this is largely because the structure of the system varies so greatly from the more common folder structures. Some of the individuals on the team took a bit longer getting used to the idea of the metadata layout system’s approach. The interface could also be considered a bit outdated. They help us out with some basic things, just some simple docs organization and access abilities with ability to share it with team members. The interface is clean which makes it easier to work with during long periods of time. M-Files App provides good features for files storage and stucturization. We've had some issues with syncing multiple devices, seems like they don't support some specific firmware models besides that that so far everything is positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Just recently discovered this app and was not sure if that is something that I might use, but noticed that they have a trial, so decided to try, and it was beautiful since then, It's easy to navigate within the application, a bit harder to setup, but with support assistance it was okay. I really like their search, because now instead of hunting though folders, M Files organizes everything by what the file is, and not where I saved it. Literally just type in the key word and find what I need. Also it's good to have every edit I make saved, so I never loose older versions, even If I want to access if from my phone, I can, since they have an app for it, so it's a good organizer, especially for my Accounting Practice where everything must stay on track Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

M-Files has become our daily driver, making it simple and hassle-free to locate documents and files by category and metadata. In my view, this is what makes it excellent for managing a large volume of files. The setup process is straightforward, and it quickly integrates with your Outlook and SharePoint, and the customer support is always helpful whenever any issues arise during daily use. The platform also offers workflows for approvals, information trails, and file versioning, which further enhance its usefulness. I'm more than satisfied with the overall performance. For Manufacturing store M-Files has definitely been a major upgrade in our documentation handling process. Everything like recipes, quality records, contracts and even some of our compliances. But thing that stands out the most is that it how it allows us not to worry about which folder something is sales in, we basically search based on what it is. Also their team was easily able to move all of our file into M-Files, simply brought everything together, and the time it took to do, was around a couple hours, where we expected at least a couple business days. And the last but not the least, is the auto workflow, where every update to anything is tracked, meanwhile previous variants stay accessible, so we can always roll back if needed. We faced some issues during workflows setup, main reason for that probably the my lack of knowledge. I am still learning, but I did need some time to get ready for onboarding. Thankfully we have an IT person focused on this, so he was doing the most of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Oh, they do their job very well. I was looking for something that can help with my projects materials organization, and found them. As someon who juggles design drafts, client notes, some creative assets now it got easier for files to get scattered across emails, folders and devices. There is a lot I can talk about, but main things is that M-Files is well controlled, I can provide access to specific items in my documents pretty quickly, if any changes were made I can discard them, review previous versions of files. Main challenge was getting used to the system's structure at first. They really have a lot of options and features. I am doing Accounting for some companies, so this type of the app is usually what I work with, but their functionality really surprised me. Also documents migration was not the best.
