**What do you like best about Square 9 Softworks?**

Square9 also has many more training opportunities as part of your subscription including Square9 University and live training sessions for both administrators and general users of the system. They have also increased regular communications and tech newsletters showcasing new features and opportunities to expand the system and of course, the free training sessions. I work with a few other larger software companies and their training is often NOT included - so that's a bonus for Square9 users for sure.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

Although their tech support is among the best I've ever experienced, recently, I've found their response times are a little slower and it can take a couple of days for a response depending on the issue. I attribute this to the growth of the platform that is always including new features which of course, means more things to support. That said, they are certainly keeping up with new tech which I consider critical.

**What problems is Square 9 Softworks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Square 9 software has helped us go paperless in at least 1 department (formerly our largest paper file department) so far. We've also been able to streamline document digitization, data extraction and reporting. All of these things save time and valuable resources and improve access to information and reporting.

**What do you like best about Square 9 Softworks?**

I find Square 9 Softworks extremely useful for storing our documents on a centralized cloud-based repository, which allows access from anywhere. The global search and global capture features are beneficial, especially when it comes to document processing and information capture. We've been able to automate some of our indexing tasks, eliminating the need for tedious reentry processes since the OCR technology directly keeps the information safe. These features make the system incredibly helpful for traceability, compliance, and document management, and they simplify audits or reviews by facilitating easy retrieval of documents. Additionally, the automatic archiving of standardized documents through OCR makes document retrieval much simpler for future needs, and the global search automations are great at notifying staff when documents are incomplete or need more information.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

Logging in sometimes is a pain because of this license issue. Even though we have sufficient licenses, we constantly face issues with regards to logging in. The OCR technology can be optimized and perform better to scan and index information directly from documents.

Square 9 Softworks centralizes our document storage, making access easy from anywhere. It automates indexing tasks with OCR, saving reentry time. The archiving and global search features help with traceability, compliance, and management of documents.

Being able to access documents using multiple ways of looking up information (company, doc #, etc).
We had an issue with not being able to find a doc # but were able to find it using different search criteria.

We have 70+ stores that need to scan documents back for review, and Square 9 has solved this problem for us. It’s made the process much easier to manage across all of our locations.

Not much to say— it does the job we need done, and it does it very well.

**What problems is Square 9 Softworks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With 70+ stores scanning documents to us for review, we needed a better way to manage the volume and keep everything organized. Square 9 solves this problem by making it easier to receive and review those scanned documents.

Our AP process was completly manual. GlobalSearch has turned that process into almost fully automated. The workflow is easy to use for end users and it is very easy to configure for any changes I've needed to make.

I cannot think of anything more we need Square9 to do that it already doesn't do. They are ahead of us when we think we need something, they have already implemented it into their program.

For the amount of data that the application stores for us, it seems to do well.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

Invoices seem to get hung up if any little thing is out of the ordinary. Once they are hung up, it is the opposite of user friendly to get into the batch manager, locate the invoice that is causing the problem, and then get it rerouted back to the queue.

Square 9 has removed time-consuming, paper trails. The workflow and approval process is so much more convenient and easy to track than how we used to do it (paper copies).

While powerful, the template setup process can require extra effort to fine-tune, particularly when our forms or scanned documents change over time.

**What do you like best about Square 9 Softworks?**

This is a highly powerful and flexible application. It operates with great reliability and is backed by outstanding support. When working on projects, I have found their staff to be both knowledgeable and approachable.
We use the workflow engine quite intense and most likely for use cases it wasn't intended for. But despite the stress we are adding to the system it works like a charm and allows to easily build the most flexible and demanding workflows and wicket solutions! The interface is user friendly and become more moderns and easy to use with every new version Square9 puts out

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

Troubleshooting OCR-related issues can be quite challenging and often requires unexpected workarounds, which is surprising given that OCR is a core feature. While I am usually able to accomplish what I need thanks to these workarounds, there is definitely room for improvement. The audit log presents a similar situation. It records who performed an action on a document in Global Search, but it does not capture exactly what was done. I would appreciate an audit log that provides details similar to the version history feature in MS SharePoint.

**What problems is Square 9 Softworks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the Global Search and Global Capture application to keep only digital version of paper applications. That saves a lot of storage and makes document review and retrieval significantly more effective

Great value compared to other solutions. AI-assisted invoice coding is accurate and easy to customize. User management and access controls are secure and simple to administer. Support is responsive and works with you to solve problems.

If a document gets lost or misrouted during processing, it can be confusing to get it back on track.

**What do you like best about Square 9 Softworks?**

I love that I can search for any business document in one location, export it, print it, whatever I am needing to do.  Also the fact that you can select who has access to which folders is a great security feature.  This has helped our company be 100% paper less. I use this software numerous times a day as does many in our company.  Customer support has been outstanding and highly recommend.  When we first moved to Global Search it was very easy to implement and intergrate with our every day processes.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

When I download a document it opens has an Enabled file so I have to always click to open it again.

**What problems is Square 9 Softworks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This has eliminated the need for paper, which is such a life saver.  When we have many different locations we can all access the documents we are needing no matter when it originated from.

There are aspects of the software that are overly clunky/technical. I realize there is a programming aspect to much of the software, but it seems like things are too convoluted at times.

They have digitized our records, which is a huge help. We love being able to scan items into the document management system and no longer have a storage center of old records.

The proactive approach it allows my company to have when reviewing documents. We are in a business where we must have supporting documentation for every penny of expenditures and must have these readily avaialable for the state agencies in which we report to. Having the AP workflow tool eases my anxiety of whether I will be able to 1) find and 2) timely gather all expenses and invoices.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

It is very complex and implementation costs can be expensive, I see a lot of benefit in the long term but we are also being cautious with our dollars at the moment due to some other asset costs taking precedent.

**What do you like best about Square 9 Softworks?**

Being an IT/Power user that uses the product daily, I appreciate the great support team and prompt response time on any questions or issues that may come up. The ease of use of the product is great. The endless functionality is extremely beneficial as well, weather it is creating a new workflow or archive to utilizing Globalforms. We have just began to scrap the surface with what Square 9 has to offer.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

I currectly do not have any complaints with Square 9, as everything functions as expected.

**What problems is Square 9 Softworks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it for contracts, applications, AP processing, and document management. These functions speed up our processes greatly. Users are more efficient at daily tasks. Contracts flow quicker and we receive and process applications faster.

There are many good features of Square 9 but I appreciate the ease of finding documents within minutes vs. digging through a dusty file room and having those documents digitally vs. paper cluttering up a desk.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

The workflows have helped our engineer department with permits and our finance department with processing invoices.  My only struggle is my lack of knowledge of how the workflows function but I'm looking forward to using the End User Learning Center to learn more.

Square 9 has made our office more efficient in managing documents.

**What do you like best about Square 9 Softworks?**

The most helpful aspect of square9 is the amount of space that can be used to store files and documnetation. 
The application is well organized and we use this in a number of different departments so each department may have certain access restrications and that helps keep everything nice and organized for every department. 

Also me and my fellow employers use this application everyday.  The implementation of this application was seemless and customer support is really good when needed.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

At times Square9 can have it's bugs with the global search portal. This can be with logging in or sometimes features will dissapear and the application just needs to be reset so that it can work.

The business problem we have is making sure everything is organized in every department and kept separate for smooth documentation and easy access.

**What do you like best about Square 9 Softworks?**

Square 9 has been an excellent tool for our company to keep our documents easily accessible electronically. Everything we're looking for is at our fingertips with easy-to-use search criteria and functionality.

Update to add that the AI component that has been emerging is very exciting and we're eager to implement it into our current use. I think it will be game changer in reading documents.

There is nothing that we currently dislike. Square 9 is continually evolving with technology and ease of use. Easy to work with and maneuver across all departments.

Square 9 is solving the need to keep paper copies of files while also being able to efficiently sort, download, print, and find the documents we are looking for.

The setup was not as easy as I would have hoped. Support is not as thorough and some other programs I have used in the past. Other software application as a bit easier to use and have more features as well.

Digital document storage has been very helpful. Routing and tracking invoices during processing has helped streamline the overall process.

It's a trustworthy software that can store our documents, going paperless. We use it for HR and Payroll, and student records. It's been easy to use and manage, plus implementation was super fast and easy. 
Square 9 has been very fast with responding to any questions we have, and guiding to the correct person when needed. I also like there frequent webinars.

It can get bogged down at times and IT has to go in there and make some changes.

I like Square 9 because it allows the invoices to be indexed directly to the appropriate departments and therefore minimzes the emails and phone calls to get approvals.

The only downside I have is that it runs slow at times, which could be an internet issue, but this can cause delays in dispersing invoices and getting them in the process of approval.

I know at one point, there were some things done on the back side (IT side) that have helped in the slowness and /or how things move more smoothly through the workflows.

Square 9 has been very helpful in answering questions.  If I need support, they most likely answer right on time. It has been a hassle free experience working with them.  If I need orientation, they supply it with no problems and direct me where needed to look for the help/support I need.

I have been working with Square 9 for a long time and really have not had any issues with them.  They do their job and give me the support I need, so I can't really find a bad thing to say....

I went from 7 filing cabinets in my office down to one desk drawer file. All documents are safely stored and can be traced from submission to archive.

The tweaking from time to time to get a function to run. This could be a fault of our IT. I know that there are several times our IT department must wait on a solution from Square 9.

Storage space most of all. There is also the benefit of moving so much from a manual job down to a two step process.

Square9 allows us to index data on invoices, purchase orders, and other various kinds of documents, then query this information. This keeps us from having a jumbled mess of documents living on a fileshare. Square9 is a fantastic database for storing documents and all of the data that goes along with them.

When it is setup, it just works and without any issues or problems.  It does a good job of connecting multiple scanned documents to a single output file following defined naming rules.  This is our main use of it at the moment, though there are lots of additional functions and processes I would like to implement.  It is a new application for me and was setup before I started, so I have a bit to learn before I can add things.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

I have found the connection to the server to be very slow and unresponsive at times.  I have not been able to trace the source of the lag.  There have been times the screen is unresponsive, but not clearly because the application has locked up either.

Overall it is a time saver, I think it has the potential to streamline our business even further if I could get time to go through the various educational courses that are offered.

Square 9 has a great team behind your project.  The communication is fantasatic.  The process is smooth and streamlined.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

Square 9 has a lot of functionality.  This can be a blessing and a bit of a curse.  There's a lot we can do with it - but that can take some education/training.  I don't always want to take the time to do that type of thing.  While I can still use the surface applications without it, all the extras could be intimidating.

**What problems is Square 9 Softworks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Square 9 is helping us cut down on paper and wasted time.  Now that we are managing our archives on Square 9's platform, we don't have to leave our desk, go into archives and physically pull documents for shredding.  Once in the cloud, I can just delete the old documents we don't need anymore.  The same thing could be said about needing to retrieve archived information for things like background checks.  We no longer have to physically find the paper record.  We can search for it on the cloud and voila - it's right at your finger tips.  It's very convenient.  It also takes up less space in our facility.  We used to have a large room for storing files.  Now we've moved what we still retain short-term to a much smaller room.  

Pretty soon we'll be using Square 9 to take online applications for our Trade School.   Applicants can apply online instead of coming in person to fill out an application.  It allows for us to expand the time frame in which they can apply.

We can easily have one team review and adjust and another to approve or reject.Our on premise installation of the product is super easy to use and setup.  The ability to customize workflows to be as simple or as complicated as necessary.

**What do you like best about Square 9 Softworks?**

I really enjoy the ease of gaining support when an issue arises. 
I like receiving updates about new products and constant reminders of what I can use that I currently already have access to.

**What do you dislike about Square 9 Softworks?**

I haven't had any serious issues with Square 9 Softworks yet and honestly, even if something were to come up, I know the team will be there to help me.

**What problems is Square 9 Softworks solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It usually just relates to access to the program or log in issues. The turnaround time for reporting the issue and getting an answer with a solution is usually very quick.
