What do you like best about Rippling?

I really like using Rippling because it brings most functional products like payroll, time off, T&E, into one streamlined platform. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate, which saves our team time and reduces administrative back-and-forth. I especially appreciate how automated workflows keep processes moving efficiently while still giving us the visibility and control we need. What do you dislike about Rippling?

Our implementation experience with Rippling was extremely disappointing. The teams operated in silos and often seemed more focused on securing five-star reviews than ensuring we were genuinely comfortable and confident using the platform. Instead of providing hands-on, practical support, we were directed to hours of videos and tutorials. Too frequently, issues were escalated by “submitting an engineering ticket,” which made it feel as though no one on the implementation team had the expertise or authority to actually resolve problems in real time. One particularly frustrating example was when a team “took a correction payroll off our plate,” only to create significant additional issues for us. The effort required to secure any meaningful make-good was exhausting, and Rippling did very little to proactively rectify the problems or rebuild trust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?

Rippling's automation and workflows are still in process of being built, but they will remove the admin of onboarding, off boarding, employee experience surveys, expensing, and more. What do you like best about BambooHR?

The thing I like most about BambooHR is how user-friendly it is. It’s really easy to log in and submit requests, upload forms, and complete surveys without any hassle. I also appreciate that it offers a variety of uses all in one platform, so I don’t have to jump between different tools. Nothing feels hidden, and what I need is usually straightforward to find. I’d say I log in almost every day to check out the features and review my benefits. The PTO request feature is especially nice, and the PTO calculator makes it even better. What do you dislike about BambooHR?

Honestly, the main thing I’d like to see improved is the AI assistant. I understand it’s currently in beta, so it’s still being refined and worked on. What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?

I have journals that I sell during my courses, and Square Point of Sale makes it easy to accept multiple forms of payment. I like that it works on phones and tablets because I carry both with me. It also allows me to set up multiple ways to pay, using both a tablet and a phone, meaning there's no limit to where I can go and use Square, making it simple for people to purchase from me even if they don't have cash. What i really like about the shopify POS is how simple and easy it is to use. You dont need much training to get started, and everything feels quite intuitive. The best part is how smoothly it connects with the online store, so managing products and orders in one place becomes super convenient. I also like how fast the checkout process is and how everything stays synced in real time, like inventory and customer data. One thing I dont like about shopify POS is the pricing. Some useful features are only available in higher plans, which can feel a bit expensive, especially for small businesses. Another downside is that customization options are somewhat limited in a few areas, like reports and POS specific settings. What do you like best about UKG Ready?

Our team is able to customize the different platforms to fit our company's needs. And the reporting is top notch. Our fiscal year begins on July 1st. In the past, we've always had to run 2 YTD reports and do a cut and paste job to come up with fiscal year data. I love being able to give the Accounting auditor and the 401k auditor login access each year - so that they can pull the data that they need directly from the system. And once the audit is completed, I can deactivate their access. I love that individuals who leave the organization can still have limited access to the system. They can still see their W2s, pay statements and other tax forms. That eliminates those phone calls and emails each January from individuals who no longer work with the organization. The Time & Attendance platform allowed us to finally get our PTO / Accrual process automated. We have also been able to implement a grant allocation process on the T&A platform as well. Two things that we've had to do manually in other systems. And we were finally able to get rid of a 15 tab Excel document by automating our payroll journal entry. That is something I would list 5 times on repeat. Every system we used in the past always promised that they could integrate with NetSuite (our company's Accounting software). UKG not only promised but they delivered. For once our Accounting Department has been happy with HRs selection of a HRIS. We also had a great implementation team. Love the Open Enrollment platform and the Applicant Tracking platform. We added the Learning module to our platform last month. We are currently reviewing Bryte and Document Manager. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

Area of improvement: The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. Deputy is careful with shift scheduling, which reduces the chances of clashes and prevents any duplicate shifts. The time-tracking side is also a major benefit the app provides, including GPS logs and clock-ins. Staff also get clear and efficient communication support through the app, with alerts and notifications that keep everyone informed. Deputy collects data efficiently, and that information plays a key role in decision-making. Labour rules are well enforced as well, and I haven’t experienced any compliance disputes. What do you like best about Agiliron?

We've been a Agiliron customer since about 2015. At the time, we had a brick and mortar store, What attracted us to Agiliron initially while we used it for website and Amazon selling, it had the potential to also support a brick and mortar store (which we never used, since we shut down the brick and mortar store in 2018). We are a B to B business, and Agiliron attracted us in that the back end was well suited to a business that creates quotes and invoices and often billed customers offline.

We were a modest mom-and-pop customer of Agiliron. We appreciated that they allowed us to stay at a modest product and pricing tier that became obsolete, yet allowed us access to the tools to present ourselves as a B to B business as they advanced the platform over the decade.

The on-boarding was very pleasant and well supported. The paradigm of all tables can be uploaded and downloaded as excel files worked well for us.

Support for the large part is always excellent. Particularly any issue that impacted commerce was always dealt with quickly. And generally, they were good sports about issues that cropped up as they evolved the platform around us. Since we were effectively a legacy customer, there were at times their were mild growing pains as the system evolved around us and left us behind. Some were fixed, some were not. Overall we felt we were getting great value and didn't sweat the small stuff.

For the first several years we used the Amazon integration and a credit card processing service, as well as general quoting and invoicing. The Amazon and credit card processing integrations worked great. We stopped selling on Amazon after several because the products we had available were too low margin to sell profitably.

We knew our Agiliron sell website had good visibility, as we had several products from our distributor catalogs that were not anywhere else on the net. For those calls, we sometimes took the sale. Most of the time, we instructed the account how to buy in their own region.

We shut down our business at the end of 2025 and thank the Team at Agiliron for hosting and supporting over the years. Agiliron worked great for us. Jim and Carol at PGH Batteries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The online-only support was an acquired taste. But we got used to it. At least the support team is actual humans, so that is a plus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While we did modest Internet business, we mostly sold regionally and used Agiliron more as an online catalog that we could easily generate quotes and invoices from and sometimes order entry by customers. We appreciated we could set web sales to not complete a sale until we effectively approved them (by way for a pass phrase). Agiliron was always our main quoting and invoicing tool. As the organization's Communications Manager, I primarily use RedeApp to send organization-wide messages from my desktop computer. I will say that the user interface on the desktop version is pretty lackluster and could be more visually appealing.
