What do you like best about Square Point of Sale?

Square has transformed the way that we do onsite sales. We started with one square device to take on tuition payments at our front office. We now have 5 devices and use them for our Student Store, Concession Stand, Fees, Game Day Ticket Sales, etc. We will likely move to online purchasing at some point. One of the features I appreciate most is Employee Self-Service. It allows our staff to manage their own information, request time off, and access company documents independently, without having to contact HR for every minor update. This autonomy has saved us a considerable amount of administrative time.

The centralized employee database is another major advantage. With all employee data—such as contact details, job history, performance reviews, and PTO balances—stored in one place, we no longer have to juggle multiple spreadsheets. This consolidation has greatly improved our data consistency and accuracy.

Time-off management is also remarkably straightforward. Employees can quickly check their PTO balances and submit time-off requests, while managers can approve them with just one click. There is limited flexibility to tailor workflows or data fields beyond the standard settings, which could pose challenges for organizations with highly specific HR needs. The main challenge that BambooHR has addressed for us is the decentralization and manual handling of HR data. Previously, we managed employee records through spreadsheets, kept documents in separate folders, and relied on email threads for time-off requests. One of the biggest advantages has been establishing a single source of truth. Now, all employee information is stored in a centralized and secure location, eliminating data silos and ensuring we always have access to accurate, up-to-date records. I like how Hubstaff makes it easy to assign a task or timer to a worker, and setting a time limit is straightforward. As a worker, I find it very easy to track and record time with Hubstaff. I appreciate that it provides options for tracking multiple timers, which is helpful when doing simultaneous work. It's great that workers can switch between projects easily if they're working on multiple tasks, all while Hubstaff continues to monitor them. What do you dislike about Hubstaff?

While Hubstaff works well for most of the time, there are some annoyances. If a project has a daily limit and the project manager is on a different timezone than the worker, it might confuse the worker when the timer resets at midnight in their timezone but not in the project manager's timezone. Another problem is when one project has daily limits and another doesn't, the worker still has to ask a team leader or project manager to reset the limit if they reach a similar time to the daily limit. What do you like best about Agiliron?

We are about to go live with Agiliron in the next few days, and so far, it has been an amazing experience.

It took a long time to find a software which is able to handle all of our inquiries and sales orders. As well as supplier PO's, handle multiple currencies and stock levels, databases and so on. Agiliron does it all! While being affordable!!! It has so many features, it's a joy to work with. I also love that a certain percentage can be specifically programmed to our own needs.

Their customer support is intergalactic. In over 20 years of international business management have I ever met a company with such amazing customer support. Within 24 hours they get back to you, no matter what. Amrita was by our side from the very beginning, and I'm overjoyed to know that she will stay our contact person for the years to come. What do you like best about uAttend?

The software is really easy to use. I had even signed up for ADP, but I canceled that subscription because all the employees preferred using Uattend. That was BIG WIN for Uattend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about uAttend?

The only thing I don’t like is that when the owner is listed as “common,” the store manager shouldn’t be able to see it. Also, on the scheduling page, it would be helpful if each shift showed the total hours (for example, “4 hours”) as a small breakdown. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
