What do you like best?

Zengine has been a great tool to manage grants from start to finish. It is greatly customizable and the Implementation team is extremely helpful in making the program work for their clients. The portal is easy to use and intuitive. I have received positive feedback both from my staff and applicants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I miss is the ability to create tables for the forms. This would be most helpful, especially for budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our grants management system has been done previously via email and Word docs, which makes gathering data very difficult. With Zengine, I have been able to easily pull data, create reports, and query information. The Reporting Dashboard lets you create graphs and pie charts which has been great. What do you like best?

The software is very user friendly. The team there gives you a lot of resources and is generous with their time and attention when it comes to questions and concerns. Our application process before WizeHive was largely mail/email based, so this gives us a lot of flexibility to have all of our applicants in one database and receive recommendations, reviews, and tax documents in one space. What do you like best?

We implemented WizeHive Zengine in September 2020 for our Fall Grant Cycle. Not only did Zengine improve our professional look, it was easy for our grant applicants to use. The Foundation Board of Director's was reviewing all applications via a shared drive or on paper. Zengine streamlined this process and gave us immediate results as each Board member completed their reviews. Our Board President said "That is the best money we have ever spent. What do you dislike?

What do you like best?

WizeHive Zengine is intuitive and user-friendly. It is a powerful database with tremendous functionality. The better we learn the system, the more uses we find for it. It has transformed multiple workstreams for us, automating annual functions that used to be time-intensive and tedious. For example, our applicants complete their applications and upload resumes and transcripts; they also submit a recommender's name and contact information and have the ability to send automated reminders, update their recommender's email address, or even submit a new recommender. Empowering applicants to manage this process saves our team hours of work.

We use WizeHive instead of a CRM, mail merge service, applicant tracking system, time tracking system, onboarding app, business intelligence data app, and survey administrator. It saves us thousands of dollars annually. The Zapier integration extends WizeHive's functionality indefinitely.

The WizeHive Support Team is incredibly responsive and supportive. They build our capacity to use the system while immediately helping us answer questions and solve problems. We consider them extended members of our team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The system is so intentionally designed with so much potential functionality that mastery can involve a learning curve. However, the WizeHive Implementation Team works closely with each client to determine the level of support needed and the level of involvement desired. The Implementation Lead does not sign off on the project until the client is 100% confident in the training, testing, and ongoing management of the system. The Support Team is incredibly responsive and demonstrates consistent mastery of the system and our particular use case. The Help Center has videos, webinars, and articles to support ongoing learning. Every month, we receive an email with all of the new system innovations. In the 15 months we have been using WizeHive, they have transformed the internal dashboards that were already very robust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

WizeHive helps us complete our application, selection, onboarding, survey, tracking, and alumni management in one unified platform. We used to save associated files in Dropbox and Google Drive; now, we have all of the records for each applicant in one secure location. We have saved many hours of time and countless Excel spreadsheets and Google Docs. What do you like best?

Though I joined our program team after they had already been working with Wizehive Zengine, the customer service in Wizehive is phenomenal. Not only did they walk me through the entire system they had built out with our team, they guided me to helpful resources, and are always there as a continued support if we are ever needing assistance, clarification, inquires on what is feasible and not, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Wizehive is still building out a lot of great new features, based on the requests of their customers and their overall passion to continue to improve upon their platform. My main concerns are learning how to navigate the platform with the current limitations that does exist, and also wanting to make sure I am aware of the updates when they become available (often you need to request the plugin be put in). What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have implemented this solution for all of our flight training and post-secondary scholarships. The specific program I use the platform for a new program that required vetting of local chapters, and then vetting of their nominated scholar. We also require multiple progress checks along the way. We are currently creating an API between WizeHive and our CRM Aptify. This tie will greatly improve the efficiency of our programs and tracking. What do you like best?

WizeHive is incredibly useful for program management, thanks to its integrated portal editor/publisher, as well as the highly editable data display. And WizeHive's support staff are unfailingly helpful, no matter how large or small the question! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The program and process architecture is intertwined to such a degree that minor changes can sometimes lead to instability (or deletion) of programs/processes. WizeHive's ability to create externally-facing portals which link to granular, efficient, and highly malleable internal data sets is superb. What do you like best?

Intuitive interface - exceptional customer support -- easy to manage a huge amount of application data. Customer support does a great job both of teaching users/managers/administrators how to fully engage and use the product, but is also very willing to manage those items. Some elements we would like to customize aren't there yet, but doesn't limit functionality...these are "nice to have but not vital" items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We needed a stable, user-friendly platform to handle a high volume of applicants (~200,00). In the first year of using WizeHive, our call and email support volume dropped precipitously (likely more than 90%), as users could resolve their own password resets or find the technical support directly from WizeHive, which we did not have from the previous vendor. What do you like best?

- It has made the application, which is almost identical to the application questions previously displayed by our old service, seem less daunting and more user friendly to grant applicants.

- The grant review team has exclaimed that the side-by-side review option is the best feature ever invented and has saved them loads of paper.

- Internally, I appreciate the ease of use of the back end system. Being able to easily assign grants to reviews both in and outside the organization, easily create queries for the stats I need, and the ability to move application through the steps of the system seamlessly make this my top choice since I'm the only staff member dedicated to the Foundation which leaves me with lots on my plate to balance. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

Auto email/bulk email feature makes it easy to notify applicants. Application forms are easy to update. Can perform an entire review process through WizeHive without much need from an outside source. What do you dislike?

Somewhat challenging to navigate. Needs more help options and tutorials to make the user experience much easier. Still some bugs that need to be fixed (including some issues with a few of the filters in application forms). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are needing to collect and save a lot of data from grant applicants and reviewers, this is a great system to use. What do you like best?

Love being able to access our environment anytime. It is easy to track our nominations and to link them to the Teacher applications. You can link several Nominations to a single Teacher application. What do you like best?

We used WizeHive to vote for Company Employee awards. I do like WizeHive's scoring system-it enable you to screen out ineligible candidates while moving others forward in the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The user interface was really cumbersome. It was not intuitive-we only used it once a year-so after 365 days had rolled around, it was as if you needed a whole new training to remember what to do or how to set it up. The technical support is extra cost and the representatives change from year to year so you never get the same person.

The worst experience happened this year when we has issues with employee's logins. Wizehive was unable to resolve the issue so we had to use an entirely different software mid-voting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

WizeHive provided an incredible implementation lead (Dan) to get our fellowship platform designed and up and running. He provided novel ideas and features to make sure both the application and review process ran seamlessly. I'm very pleased with our partnership as the product is robust, easy to navigate, and easy to customize.
