## Paycom Reviews
 ### 1. Efficient Payroll and HR with Beti AI, Great Integrations, and Top-Notch Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew H. | Chief Financial Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

The enhanced capabilities and features that let employees update their accounts, review paystubs, and answer questions have helped HR and Payroll staff use their time more efficiently. This includes Beti, the AI assistant, which has become more impressive over time. In addition, the smartphone app allows managers and admin to complete payroll related tasks in a timely manner, without the need to login to the website. The UI is easy to use and makes most tasks easy to accomplish. We very rarely have issues with website performance, which in turn allows personnel to work freely without access related problems. We are integrated with all of our benefits platforms, so from onboarding to payroll, third party integrations is a steamlined process that allows for efficient and accurate work. We have found the support team to be top notch, super helpful, and easily accessible. You can always reach someone by phone, who has some experience with your account. The pricing is at a level that feels accurate for the tools and resources provided, while also being very competitive with other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The biggest issues we’ve had over time were related to changes in the support team, especially when some individuals weren’t experienced enough to understand the complexity of our questions and couldn’t provide support in an appropriate manner. That said, we’ve found this has improved over time.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of our biggest problems with other platforms in the past was that employees had to rely on HR/Payroll staff or supervisors for support. Now, most of the time, the average employee can find answers to questions by doing the work themselves.

 ### 2. Paycom Review 06.26.2026

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mia J. | Payroll Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Paycom is very user-friendly and becomes easy to navigate once you are familiar with the system. When I first started, learning the ins and outs of Paycom was fairly easy, which made the transition into using it day-to-day much smoother. I especially appreciate that it empowers employees to manage more of their own information, which helps reduce administrative workload on the payroll side.
The Report Center is a standout feature—it’s easy to pull data and the customization options are very helpful for reporting needs. I also like how simple it is to find employee information, along with the ability to view timestamps and history logs for tracking changes.
One of my favorite features is the accrual history available within the timecard. It makes it much easier to explain PTO balances and activity to employees in a clear and transparent way. I am also a fan of the multiple notifications sent when changes are made to direct deposit, as it adds an extra layer of security and awareness.
Lindsay Brownridge has also been a strong Paycom representative— I appreciate his prompt responses. Even when the answer isn’t always what we’re hoping for, he consistently follows up and works with us to find solutions that support our payroll needs.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

While Paycom offers strong functionality overall, there are several ongoing issues that impact efficiency in day-to-day payroll operations.
One of the biggest challenges is with timecard search functionality. On Mondays—when we process our heaviest non-employee payroll—the search feature frequently does not work at all. This creates major delays, especially with payroll deadlines on Wednesday at noon.
Payroll processing itself can also be slow. During submission (particularly Step 4), transactions can take an extended time to load. While I understand the volume of data being processed, delays seem to occur consistently, and our leadership team has experienced similar issues.
There are also some newer features that haven’t added much value from my perspective. The AI tools are not something I use and feel more like unnecessary additions rather than practical enhancements to payroll workflows.
Certain functionality could benefit from simplification. For example, PAFs for pay increases are helpful, but the retro pay process is complex and not entirely intuitive. It’s difficult to fully trust the accuracy of the retro calculations, which can make it harder to adopt confidently.

The Final Payout Dashboard introduces additional challenges:

1. There are limited action options. It would be helpful to have an option indicating that an employee will be paid on the next regular payroll cycle.
2. Actions cannot be undone, which is problematic given how easy it is to make a mistake.
3. The removal of the check preview feature creates extra work, as payroll teams must now wait until transactions open to review final pay details.
4. Additionally, there are inefficiencies when managing multiple payroll groups. Employees paid on a “doc” payroll still populate into the “non-doc” payroll when using the dashboard, resulting in duplicate work and additional manual correction.

Timecard corrections that require retro pay also create separate datasets for each employee, which becomes annoying to manage. The inability to rename these datasets further limits organization and usability.

Overall, while Paycom has strong capabilities, these issues can create inefficiencies and additional workload in high-volume payroll environments.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom helps us address the complexity that comes with supporting a diverse, multi-location organization like MB2. One of the biggest challenges we face is managing varying payroll structures and unique office needs while still maintaining consistency and compliance.

Paycom’s flexibility has been a game-changer for us. The system allows us to build and implement creative payroll solutions that align with how our offices actually operate, rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. This adaptability not only improves efficiency for our team but also ensures we can accurately support our providers and staff in ways that make sense for their specific situations.

Overall, it has significantly enhanced our ability to manage payroll effectively while supporting the unique nature of our organization.
Before Paycom, MB2 used ADP (before I started), and I’ve been told many times that Paycom is a much better fit for how our organization runs.

 ### 3. Payroll

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth B. | Payroll Supervisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

The system is easy to use and creates streamlined processes for both HR and employees. The downside is that many features are interconnected, so changes made in one area can affect another. If you're not familiar with how the system works, it can be confusing to understand how everything is connected. However, once you become familiar with the platform and stay up to date on new features and updates, it's much easier to navigate and use effectively.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I wish Paycom allowed us to archive or hide outdated documents, checklists, and other resources after they've been assigned. Having discontinued items remain visible creates confusion and increases the risk of employees selecting the wrong version. Because our company frequently updates processes and documentation, the list of outdated items continues to grow, making it more difficult to maintain a clean and user-friendly experience. Ideally, it would be helpful to have the ability to archive or hide inactive items so only current documents and checklists are visible.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest problems Paycom solves for us is keeping managers informed and accountable throughout the payroll process. The Notification Center and Batch Reminders help ensure managers are aware of outstanding payroll-related tasks, reducing missed approvals and helping payroll stay on track.

I also find Batch Edits extremely helpful. When a correction needs to be made for multiple employees, I can quickly update only the employees who require the change instead of editing each profile individually. This saves time, improves efficiency, and reduces the risk of errors.

Another feature I really appreciate is the Reporting Center. It allows me to build customized reports by selecting only the fields I need, making it easy to pull specific data for different business needs. With the wide variety of available fields, I can create reports that are tailored to exactly what I'm looking for without having to sort through unnecessary information.

 ### 4. All-in-One HR System That Makes Compliance Easy to Track

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** olivia g. | People & Culture Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I like being able to do everything in one system, along with the connections to other platforms. I can complete E-Verify, background checks, workers’ comp, and FMLA paperwork, and it’s all easy to track in one place.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

There are many different ways to get to the same item for various tasks/documents in the system. However, for items such as the offer letter, the only way to review it is from the candidate page. This should also flow through to the employee’s documents. There are a few other items like this where the only way to access them is through a very specific process, which makes navigation less intuitive.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our payroll process is fully completed through the Paycom system. Being able to edit and adjust earnings and deductions each payroll run is very helpful, especially since we often need to deduct accidental charges made on credit cards.

 ### 5. HR Business Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Delila M. | HR Business Partner, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

The easy flow of it and customization. The new interface from the update this past month was amazing! I like that we can now customize what widgets you often use more and make them easily accessible. I do like the updates pop up that generate What's new very useful read as it optimizes the experience or task you need to do on your role.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Nothing yet. What my company purchase has limits from the package we have. So im sure the things I dislike are just because we dont have the correct package.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use to take a lot of time navigating through the main page to do a task but now its easy to get to the parts I work with on my role. PAFs, Audit reports. It's saved me time and helped me stay on top of things on pending action itwm on queue.

 ### 6. Paycom: Unified HR, Payroll & LMS — Intuitive Platform with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noel R. | Manager of Learning and Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I really like that everything is housed in one platform. Having HR, Payroll, and the Learning Management System all in one place makes it much more efficient. I also find Paycom to be very intuitive and user-friendly. Another thing I've appreciated is that the Paycom support team is always available to help, and when you reach out, they genuinely understand the platform and are able to provide knowledgeable assistance.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Occasional software glitches, such as video content within the LMS not loading properly, along with file size limitations and certain LMS restrictions, are typically addressed or available through dedicated learning management systems.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom Checklists have helped streamline our processes and reduce administrative time. Additionally, the LMS allows us to assign estimated completion times to each course, helping us accurately plan and manage training schedules.

 ### 7. Easy-to-Use Portal, but Customer Service Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annette P. | Vice President, HR Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

The portal is very easy to use and it is interactive.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Customer service is not at the highest level. Over the past few years we have had a revolving door of account reps, relationship managers and dedicated service teams. We are not informed when our reps leave or get reassigned. We must always reach out to the rep and have our benefits brokers step in and literally "train" our reps on compliance and how to use their own system.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have issues with Payroll set up regarding taxes, EDI feeds on the benefit side, had issues setting up the new IRS 401k Roth catch up for high earners, and other issues. The problem is that Paycom does not have an open API and does not communicate well with our ATS and other systems

 ### 8. User-Friendly and Makes Time-Off Balances Easy to Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria K. | Customer Experience Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I like that it is user friendly and that it is easy to see your time off balances.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I don't think there is anything that I dislike about Paycom.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to see time-off balances for the end of the year. This is helpful in planning time-off.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience, Victoria! We’re glad to hear Paycom’s user‑friendly software makes it easy to track time‑off balances and plan ahead with confidence. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and are happy to support your organization.

 ### 9. Comprehensive, Easy-to-Access HR Solution with Helpful AI Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy H. | Percussionist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Paycom is a comprehensive solution with the ability to help employees and supervisors. The new AI widget has also made it easier to find support and understand the information you are looking at. Accessibility across multiple devices helps to make Paycom easy to access and use as both an employee and supervisor.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The biggest issue I have found with Paycom is the Time Clock application. While trying to run a Time Clock kiosk on an iPad, it can be difficult to setup based on how Paycom requires a link to authenticate, then the active link changes. This makes it cumbersome when trying to use the kiosk in single app mode.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Paycom being a single solution that covers everything from the Candidate Search to the Employee leaving, Paycom helps solve many issues. One thing that has really helped us is that Paycom is an easy and quick way for students to manage their working hours. Allowing the students, and full time staff, the ability to clock in and out from mobile devices as well as a computer really makes sure that we have accurate time management.

**Official Response from Katie Lenhart:**

> We’re glad Paycom’s single‑database platform, accessibility across devices and AI tool IWant™ are helping both employees and supervisors quickly find information and manage daily tasks, Jeremy! Kiosk authentication requirements can vary by setup and device configuration, and sharing details like this helps inform continued improvements as we support accurate, flexible time management across different environments. We encourage you to share additional information with your employer's HR team or by emailing us at feedback@paycomonline.com.

 ### 10. One Login, Multiple Solutions: Efficient Yet Navigational Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristina S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I appreciate the continuing improvements Paycom makes in the system, as it's always trying to make it better and more efficient. The most valuable aspect to me is that it's really a one-stop shop for almost everything we do in human resources. I find the fact that it integrates all these functions into one system incredibly helpful, with all systems talking to each other and operating under one login. I'm also really pleased with the ATS because of its tracking; I can log in and visually see everything that's going on in one snapshot.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I think it's kind of the trail of crumbs. So if I'm in somebody's time card, for example, looking at it, and I wanna look at somebody else's time card, I need to go back kind of to the beginning and search for another person and then go to their time card from their profile. There just isn't an easy way to kind of go from one thing to the other. So sometimes you gotta go it feels like a long way.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom integrates everything into one system, making all the systems talk to each other, which is really helpful. It's a one login solution.

 ### 11. Lacks Basic Features, Clunky System

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

There has been a shift in the past month or so for the direction of paycom, the UI, the performance, and in some ways, their support. Lately, I have been please to have additional experts assigned to our account to help us with larger projects and listen to our concerns with the software. I find the new hire queue to be functional and the setup of positions, new hire templates, and some communication templates to be easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Paycom's functionality is lacking in most areas compared to other systems. Checks and balances are not usable in real life scenarios, there are so many clicks, the system is disorganized, reporting is lacking, and I also wonder if our dedicated rep is looking out for us in all the ways that they could be, especially when they are provided with feedback. Overall, the system lacks clarity and organization and is missing items that I feel like should be a core feature in an HRIS.

They recently rolled out a new feature that my team was excited for and it was riddled with bugs. The QA before rolling it out live is troubling, especially when you feel like you are getting charged to test their product.

I also hate that I have to lean on one rep for help. I would love to have access to community forums or better admin resource guides, and perhaps have a bigger team of people to help so that we can hear other perspectives. I feel like all changes have to go through our rep, where I would like to opportunity to dig in from time to time.

I dont like the new look either. It looks like it was just made with AI and cheapens the site to me.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rehires being processed through the new hire queue instead of through checklists is the only problem that I would say has been resolved.

 ### 12. Effective Employee Management with Room for Visual Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** esther c. | Client Services Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I like how Paycom allows me to change or edit my hours, which is really helpful when I forget to clock in or out, or when the machines at work malfunction. It's also convenient when I'm changing locations and can't manually clock in or out. Plus, I appreciate being able to see how much I'll get paid before the paycheck comes in because it helps me plan my finances sooner and decide if I need to work more hours or make other adjustments. Also, the initial setup was pretty simple for me.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I think it just is not visually appealing, and it was annoying that I always had to sign back in on the app rather than it saving my log in. I just think the website looks dated, colors/fonts/design could be more minimal and modernized.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Paycom, I could change or edit my hours, manage my pay, and correct clock-in times when I forgot or faced machine issues. I also liked seeing expected pay amounts before payday, helping me plan finances and decide on working extra hours.

**Official Response from Katie Lenhart:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Esther! We’re glad to hear Paycom has helped simplify time tracking and given you better visibility into your pay. We encourage you to share any additional feedback with your HR team directly.

 ### 13. Accurate Time Tracking with Clear PTO and Payroll Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine G. | Registrar, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

As an employee user. It tracks my clock in and out and lunch times perfectly. I love that my PTO is listed I can see when I used them and how much time I have left. The same for my sick time. I also love that my payroll documents are there and I can update things as needed.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I wish I had access to adjust my times because sometimes I forget to clock in or out and I don't know if that is a feature or if my HR department has it restricted.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our old payroll process left a lot open to counting my time to see if I made my hours or how many days, I used or had left. this takes the guess work out.

**Official Response from Katie Lenhart:**

> Christine, we’re glad Paycom provides clear visibility into time tracking, PTO balances and payroll documents, helping eliminate guesswork around hours and time off. Timecard edit permissions are set by each organization, and we recommend reaching out to your organization's HR and payroll team for additional information. Thank you for your 5-star review!

 ### 14. Efficient Payroll Solutions, Needs UI Enhancements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bethany S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I really appreciate the full service payroll provided by Paycom, as it's probably the top feature for us. We use it for HR and payroll, and it effectively takes away many manual tasks. I like that we have a great client rep who is very helpful. The payroll suite and applicant tracking are valuable tools because they streamline our processes. Despite some initial hiccups during the setup, I now consider myself a master user and can confidently show others how to use the system.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I wish for several site improvements, like an easier position management tool. Right now, it's very hard to explain to others in my department how it works and it just seems clunky. I wish there was an easy way to vacate a seat or remove someone from the org chart. A better way to provide site feedback or suggestions would be helpful too.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom's full-service payroll and applicant tracking take away many manual tasks, streamlining HR functions.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> Thanks for the thoughtful review, Bethany! We’re glad Payroll, Applicant Tracking and your dedicated specialist have helped streamline your HR processes and reduce manual work. It’s great to see you become such a confident user; that’s exactly the experience we aim to deliver.

 ### 15. Consistent, swift improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lora M.

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Far more user friendly than other systems I've used. Feedback from users seems to be taken seriously and system improvements are frequent and beneficial. Client support is responsive and friendly. The new landing page looks great and is easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Email alerts don't usually have links to take me directly to the thing that needs attention. Sometimes the alerts are regarding something I'm unfamiliar with, and it would be helpful for there to be more information about where I'm supposed to find the issue that needs to be resolved. Sometimes the language isn't specific enough: a pop up will say an action is blocked because the status is incorrect, but the field labeled "status" is definitely correct, and it takes a bunch of trial and error to figure out what "status" caused the problem. I would love it if the label of the fields was exactly the same word or language used in every area where that information is used. There's variation from employee forms to reporting and it makes it harder to learn the system. It would be nice if employee birthdate was in the "demographics" form.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payroll is really easy to process now that it's been set up correctly.

 ### 16. Why Paycom is my favorite way to get paid

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nakeithia B.

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Paycom makes it easy to view my paychecks, tax documents, and work information all in one place. I like being able to quickly check my hours, earnings, and direct deposit details without having to contact payroll. The mobile app is convenient and helps me stay organized while working freelance and event-based jobs with Rhino Staging.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The app can sometimes be confusing to navigate, especially when trying to find specific payroll or employment information. Notifications are not always clear, and some features take multiple steps to access. It would also be helpful to have more detailed explanations for pay and deduction information so employees can understand their earnings more easily.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom helps solve the problem of keeping payroll information organized and easily accessible. Instead of having to contact payroll for every question, I can quickly view my pay stubs, direct deposit information, tax documents, and earnings history in one place. This saves time, helps me track my income from event work, and gives me easy access to important employment records whenever I need them.

 ### 17. Fully Integrated HR Workflow, with Room to Improve Integrations and Support

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela D. | Chief Administrative Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

We have a small HR and Payroll team. The best thing about Paycom is that our workflow is fully integrated within the system. We do not have to go to multiple places to make employee updates.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

We have had challenges with other system integrations in the past. From a customer service standpoint, sometimes response times lag. For the Tax Center, it would also be helpful at times to receive a personal response rather than a canned system message.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It appears that Paycom continues to develop its software. Recent examples include the addition of iWant, succession planning, etc. We are always looking for more automation that will replace tasks that are currently completed manually.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that Paycom has been easy to use, bringing your HR and payroll tasks together in one place. Our single‑database approach is built to keep everything connected, so it’s great to see the updates and ongoing innovations continue to add value for your team.

 ### 18. All-in-One Paycom Platform with Dedicated Support That Streamlines Our Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I like that Paycom builds everything and we don't have to integrate several different systems. I also love the customer service model and having a dedicated specialist is very helpful. Paycom does everything we need it to from onboarding to automating communications to our team. it's improved our workflow by having all the data flow together in one system.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

While paycom does everything we need it to, there are a few workaround we have in place. however, this is mainly due to our organizations set up and not the fault of paycom. my only critique would be that I wish it was slightly more customizable in terms of grouping employees in teams. we have sales teams and have had to create ways to see time off as a team.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom has enabled us to remove some separate systems for performance management and surveying, by having those features built in to their system. It says us both time and money by not having to retrieve data from multiple places

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> Thank you for sharing your positive experience! It’s great to hear Paycom is helping your team keep everything connected in one place and streamline workflows without relying on multiple systems. We’re glad your dedicated specialist and built-in tools across onboarding and performance are making an impact and helping save time along the way.

 ### 19. Easy to Use HR and Payroll Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhush D.

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

What I like best about Paycom is that it provides a single, easy-to-use platform for managing payroll, benefits, PTO requests, and employee information. The interface is intuitive, making it simple to access pay stubs, update personal information, and track time-off balances. Having everything centralized saves time and makes routine HR tasks much more convenient.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

At times, it can take a few extra clicks to locate specific information, and some features could be more intuitive. Occasionally, pages may load slowly, but overall the platform works well and meets my needs.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom helps streamline HR, payroll, benefits administration, and time-off management by bringing everything into one platform. Instead of using multiple systems, I can access pay stubs, tax documents, benefits information, and PTO balances in one place. This saves time, reduces administrative hassle, and makes it easier to manage employment-related information efficiently.

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Paycom is helpful because it keeps payroll, scheduling, timekeeping, PTO, onboarding, and HR tasks all in one system, which makes managing employees more organized and efficient. One of the strongest features is employee self-service, allowing staff to clock in and out, request time off, and review payroll information directly from the app, reducing administrative work and payroll errors. The platform also provides strong compliance and overtime tracking tools, which can help managers monitor attendance, missed punches, and scheduling inconsistencies more easily. Although the system can sometimes feel overwhelming due to the number of features and settings, it works well when HR and management maintain consistent scheduling and proper system setup.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

One downside of Paycom is that some features can be difficult to navigate and confusing at times.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom helps solve problems related to payroll, scheduling, time tracking, and HR organization by keeping everything in one system, which benefits me by making employee management more efficient, reducing payroll errors, and improving communication and accountability.

It keeps work information organized and saves time, especially when I need to clock in or review my hours. The app is simple to use and makes managing work tasks more convenient.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

One downside of Paycom is that the app can sometimes load slowly or glitch during busy times. Some features also take a few extra steps to find, especially for new users learning the system. Notifications can occasionally be delayed, which may cause confusion with schedule updates or time requests.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom helps solve problems with managing payroll, schedules, and employee information in one place. Instead of dealing with paperwork or multiple systems, everything is organized digitally and easy to access. It helps reduce confusion with hours worked, paychecks, and time-off requests. **What do you like best about Paycom?**

I love how everything is connected. We have all of our benefit vendors connected with EDI files . It makes everything flow well.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I dont like when things change, it is going to happen but i wish there was a better way to inform us without reading a huge PDF.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have recently started using scheduling and it helping our fron line staff to be able to see schedules on their phones which has been reducing time time it takes for managers to schedule.

 ### 24. All-in-One System That Feels Truly Unified

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ericka C. | Human Resources Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I like that it’s all in one system. For example, coming from UKG Pro—where we also used WFR for time—the systems felt very disjointed.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I do think the workflows and overall user experience feel a bit dated and clunky.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So far, it supports our HR team from start to finish. That said, I’d like to see more AI integration to help us work smarter, not harder. For example, I need an easy way to automatically send exit interviews—it’s crazy that this still isn’t a feature.

 ### 25. User-Friendly, Effective Pay Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brenna P. | Regional Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I use Paycom to clock in and out, request PTO, and view my paychecks and hours. I like that it's user friendly, and I am quickly able to access the time clock to clock in and out. I enjoy that it breaks down my checks and organizes them into categories, allowing me to see where all of my money is going. I also like that it adds percentages of increases or decreases to each category on my check.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I don't love that you have to wait 1 minute between each punch in. I often accidentally click the wrong button (ex. Out Lunch instead of Out Day), and then I have to wait to fix it.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom makes it easy for me to clock in and out, request PTO, and view my paychecks and hours. It organizes my checks into categories and shows percentage changes, helping me manage my time and finances effectively.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience with Paycom, Brenna! We’re glad you find our software easy to use for time and attendance, time-off requests and reviewing your pay details. It’s great to know that the clear paycheck breakdowns and percentage insights are supporting how you manage your time and finances.

 ### 26. Its very simple to use and understand

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Its very basic and simple to use. Most people would find the very simple to go through, and have no problem at all with it.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I really don't think I don't like anything about paycom. I think it's should be a really good app for most people!!

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me keep track of my weekly hours and it also keeps all the paystubs in a place in case I need to go through it for a reason or so. It's also a good way of checking whether you exact time you clocked in, to check if I did it the right way. It's benefiting by reducing messy paper works, making it easier for me and to keep track of hours.

 ### 27. Streamlined HR and Payroll with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jawher S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I like Paycom's unified database and employee self-service model, which allows employees to update their own information. These updates reflect instantly across payroll, HR, and time tracking, which eliminates manual data re-entry and shortens payroll cycles by days. It gives my team peace of mind with automated tax compliance and accuracy guarantees. The unified database also ensures that once employees update their information, it is instantly accurate for payroll, HR, and benefits.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Paycom works well overall, but custom reporting is less intuitive than it could be, forcing extra Excel work. The mobile app lacks some admin features found in the desktop implementation. The tool took longer than expected to implement. Notification controls are limited, and integrating with niche scheduling tools required custom API work.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom eliminates manual data entry and disconnected systems, reducing payroll and HR admin work. It enables employees to update their info for instant, accurate payroll, HR, and time tracking. This cuts payroll cycles and ensures compliance, easing team workload.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> Thanks for sharing your experience, Jawher. Paycom’s single-database architecture is designed to eliminate rework and deliver real-time accuracy across payroll, HR and employee benefits, capabilities many multi-system platforms struggle to match. While advanced reporting and admin functionality may require more upfront configuration to support your unique business needs, that foundation drives long-term efficiency, scalability and compliance as organizations grow. If you have additional feedback, we encourage you to share it directly with your dedicated specialist.

 ### 28. System with Inadequate Functionality and Support

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly S. | Senior Director of People & Culture, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Nothing

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I'm really frustrated with Paycom because it creates more problems than it solves. The system is buggy and things break randomly, so I'm always dealing with unexpected issues when staff come to me with problems. For instance, changes in employee profiles aren't automatically updated as you'd expect, leading to tons of extra work like manual corrections and internal audits. There's no test environment either, and it feels like features that could be really helpful are added too late. Plus, their support isn't great. I feel like we're paying a lot just to be part of their user experience team. It also doesn't integrate with any other tools, which is another big downside. Setting it up was a nightmare, especially since Paycom doesn't offer any on-site support to help you understand the system. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, Paycom creates problems for me. It leads to random issues that I only discover when they occur, causing additional work like audits and communication with vendors. I spend a lot of time fixing issues and addressing staff concerns due to system inaccuracies.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> At Paycom, we're dedicated to setting our clients up for success and hold our software and our team to a high standard, including offering on-site support. We're disappointed this wasn't your experience and would appreciate the opportunity to learn more. We invite you to share your feedback at feedback@paycomonline.com.

 ### 29. Technology twenty years behind the times

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Paycom has made timeclock and payroll processing more straightforward for us, and given our employees easier access to related documentation.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Nearly everything else about the system is patently awful. We are a lean team and are in this tool every day, and we still cannot get it to work for our needs, which Paycom has been unresponsive to when we express that concern, to the point we are likely reverting to the tools we used before the implementation. In fact, during sales and implementation, we were told things that the system could do that it absolutely cannot do, and feel like we were sold vaporware.

This tool is at least 20 years behind the competition in this space, and is not terribly concerned with closing that gap. The ATS in particular is antiquated and possesses absolutely none of the features of a modern ATS. The UI is unintuitive and often takes 10 steps to do what can be done in two - I know because the three other tools I've used in the last five years can do it in two (or fewer).

The implementation was also concerning. I asked why we weren't running a parallel payroll with our old system before implementation and was told "that's not how we do it". Fortunately, we ran an off-cycle payroll before our main one to find the *dozens* of problems that would have surfaced in the main payroll. And when we flagged these, there was a total lack of urgency on Paycom's part. They wanted us to run the payroll and fix the problems after, but then we would not have been certain they were fixed before running our main payroll.

Support is responsive, but does not take the time to understand the core question before answering reflexively. And when they respond, you get the company line, not the solution to your problem.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Implementing Paycom has caused far more problems than it has solved, because it has - thus far - *solved* none, and created many.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> At Paycom, we aim to empower our clients with the tools and resources they need to succeed, and we're disappointed this wasn't your experience. We encourage you to reach out to us at feedback@paycomonline.com, so we can look into this further. We're confident that our software can meet the diverse needs of businesses like yours.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Maybe at times its slow loading, perhaps this is during busy times.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom solves the problem of having employee information, payroll, time off schedules, and documents spread across different systems. Having everything in one place saves time, reduces mistakes, and makes it easy for me to quickly find information.

I use Paycom for checking my schedule and payroll, and it's really useful for communicating with management and coworkers. It gives everyone a heads up about what's happening, so we're not left wondering about the next move. I find it very easy to use and understand, making communication with everyone smooth. I like how simple it is; you really only need to explain it once, and within a few taps, you know what to do. I also appreciate the ability to make company announcements, like for birthdays, which allows for widespread communication with anyone.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The looks aspect of it could be a little better, but everything else worked fine. Very little help needed once I knew why tabs actually located

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Paycom to check my schedule and payroll, communicate with management, and coordinate drop shifts. It gives everyone a heads up, reduces confusion about the next steps, and makes communication easy.

I love that I can see the breakdown of my check for my hours and my mileage and that they give me plenty of time to approve it. I also love that I can see my year to date on here and other documents on here. It has been useful doing my taxes. I really love that this is all in one place and so simple to use. I hope my company keeps Paycom for payroll!

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I haven't come across anything negative.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I kinda already answered this question on the last page. By it giving me my paycheck info early,it helps me budget early and it also helps me with my taxes. I never have to wait until I get my w2 in the mail. It has helped me with other things before but I can't remember what lol. I just know it has been useful in other situations.

 ### 33. Seamless All-in-One HR, Payroll, and Benefits in One Database

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neisha D. | N/A, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

What I like best about Paycom is its all-in-one, single-database platform that brings HR, payroll, and benefits together seamlessly. Rather than juggling multiple systems, everything flows through one place — from onboarding and time tracking to benefits enrollment and payroll processing — which eliminates redundant data entry and reduces errors.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Nothing I love Paycom. It helps me so much!

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom solves several core challenges that many organizations face with HR and payroll management.
The biggest problem it addresses is fragmentation — most companies rely on multiple disconnected systems to handle payroll, time tracking, benefits, onboarding, and compliance. This leads to duplicate data entry, errors, and inefficiencies. Paycom eliminates that by consolidating everything into a single database, meaning data entered in one area automatically flows through the entire system without manual re-entry.
Payroll accuracy is another major pain point Paycom tackles. Through its Beti tool, payroll is automatically built each pay period and employees are guided to review and correct any errors before submission — putting accountability in the right hands and dramatically reducing costly mistakes like voids and reversals.
Compliance complexity is also a significant burden Paycom helps lift. Managing tax filings, ACA requirements, COBRA, EEOC reporting, and labor law adherence across multiple jurisdictions is time-consuming and risky. Paycom automates much of this, reducing the chance of costly compliance errors.
For HR teams specifically, the benefit is time savings and focus. Rather than being bogged down by administrative tasks, HR professionals can rely on employee self-service tools that allow staff to manage their own data, benefits enrollment, and time-off requests — freeing HR to focus on strategy and people.
For me personally, the biggest benefit is peace of mind. Knowing that payroll, benefits, and compliance are running through one accurate, automated system means fewer surprises, less manual work, and more confidence that everything is handled correctly.

**Official Response from Katie Lenhart:**

> We’re glad you value Paycom’s single‑database, all‑in‑one platform, Neisha! Connecting HR, payroll, time tracking and benefits in one system is designed to eliminate redundant data entry, reduce errors and create a more seamless experience across the entire employee lifecycle.

 ### 34. Convenient Dual Login and Easy Access to Company Resources in Paycom

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura B. | Supervisor, Transportation/Trucking/Railroad, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I really like how Paycom lets me log in as an employee and as a supervisor through separate accounts. I also like that I can find all of my company’s resources in Paycom whenever I have a question. If there’s something I need answered that I can’t find there, it lets me use the directory to locate the right HR person.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The most disappointing part of Paycom for me is the lack of education and familiarity I personally have with the program itself. There are so many features and tools available to utilize, but I feel like the company I work for only chooses to use certain aspects of Paycom, which makes it harder for me to fully understand and take advantage of everything it offers.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom helps me whenever I need to check what my time-off balances are. As a supervisor, it also helps me see who has overtime and who doesn’t, which makes it easier to schedule the shifts I need.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you're finding value in Paycom's mobile app and easy access to company resources, making it convenient for you to manage your responsibilities as both an employee and a supervisor. It's also great to know that Paycom's ability to help you track time-off balances and manage overtime scheduling streamlines your workflow and benefits your team. Thank you for your 5-star review, Laura!

 ### 35. Employee Review w/ administrative background

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Myra H.

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

As an employee user, it's easy to access everything I need and update everything. My handbook's accessible, and I can easily access tax info, training info, and any modules they need to me to use, including the approve a check.

The app is smooth, and from an administrative side, I'm able to refer my team members to anywhere they need to access, or direct them where they need to go. Would definitely recommend.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

It's HR access based, so they limit what you can change sometimes, but I understand this reasoning. That's the only downside. My manager whom I work under, doesn't like the 'approve a check' feature, because I think she was worried about people being weird about their hours for our other retail stores, but I think she likes it now due to clarity and feedback.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I haven't seen any problems yes, but they do fix small glitches that apparently others have.

**Official Response from Katie Lenhart:**

> Thank you for your thorough feedback, Myra! We appreciate you taking the time to leave a 5-star review.

 ### 36. Revolutionized Our HR with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shuru S. | Senior Sales Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I like the convenience of Paycom's mobile app. It’s incredibly user-friendly and allows me to access all my employment information on the go. Whether I need to check my latest pay stub, view my W-2, request a day off, or clock in/out, I can do it all quickly and easily from my phone. I love having everything at my fingertips, and it saves me so much time and hassle. I also appreciate that Paycom is a truly single application for the entire employee lifecycle. This feature is invaluable because we don't have to deal with multiple logins or integrations for recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and time and attendance. This integration has drastically improved data accuracy, saved us dozens of administrative hours each week, and provided our team a consolidated view of employee information. Integrating Paycom with our Applicant Tracking System has revolutionized our hiring process by speeding up time-to-hire and making the transition from candidate to employee seamless. The initial setup was so easy that even a new comer could do it.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

One area where I think Paycom could improve is its reporting tools. While the system is robust, generating custom reports can feel clunky and slow. The interface for building reports isn't as user-friendly as I'd like, and sometimes it's difficult to extract the exact data I need. It would be valuable to see more intuitive reporting features and faster processing times for complex data analysis.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom transformed workforce management by integrating all HR functions, eliminating data silos, and improving data accuracy. It saves us dozens of administrative hours weekly. The mobile app adds convenience for accessing employment information on the go, and the integration with ATS streamlines hiring and onboarding.

**Official Response from Katie Lenhart:**

> Shuru, we’re glad Paycom’s single‑database platform and mobile app are driving efficiency across the entire employee lifecycle - from hiring and onboarding to payroll, benefits and time tracking. Centralizing everything in one system is designed to improve data accuracy and eliminate administrative overhead. Feedback on reporting usability is valuable as we continue refining tools that support deeper insights and faster access to data.

 ### 37. Skip this unless you are a small company that looking for cookie cutter.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David T. | Senior Manager of Talent Acquistion, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Paycom offers a wide range of features, depending on which products you need to use. At our company, we transitioned to this system for scheduling, applicant tracking, and also for invoicing and payroll.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Paycom is a cookie-cutter platform, and it can be difficult to tailor for certain companies that need more advanced settings and reporting. This can be challenging and may require a workaround, which takes extra time out of someone’s daily workday just to generate a report that should only take seconds. The metrics can also be skewed at times, and it can take a while for your account rep to respond or fully resolve the issue. I use this system daily, and the integration is still not up to standard. I wouldn't say it's easy to use, since you have to navigate multiple screens to find what you need. Also, the implementation was very quick, so they can start billing. Overall, i wouldnt suggest this system

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company was looking for a consolidated system to support onboarding, training, applicant tracking, scheduling, time cards, and billing and invoicing. We transitioned to this system, but it’s still a nightmare to use.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> At Paycom, we're committed to helping businesses of all sizes thrive by providing a single, intuitive software that streamlines payroll, HR, and time management tasks, alleviating the complexity and administrative burdens of managing a workforce. By freeing up more time to focus on growth and strategy, our solution enables businesses like yours to achieve their full potential. We hold both our specialists and our software to high standards, and the experience described doesn't align with those standards. We invite you to reach out to us at feedback@paycomonline.com. ### 38. Simple, Efficient, and Realizable Payroll Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Civic & Social Organization

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I’ve had a positive experience using Paycom through my employer. The platform is easy to navigate and makes it simple to access important information like pay stubs, tax documents, and benefits all in one place. I especially appreciate the self-service features, which allow me to update my personal details and review my time off without needing to go through HR.

The interface is clean and generally user-friendly, though occasionally some features can take a bit of time to locate at first. Overall, it has made managing my work-related information more efficient and convenient. I would recommend Paycom to other employees and companies looking for a streamlined payroll and HR solution.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

While my overall experience has been positive, there are a few areas where Paycom could improve. Some features can be a bit difficult to find at first, especially for new users, and it can take a little time to get familiar with the layout. Occasionally, the system can be slightly slow when loading certain pages, which can be frustrating during busy workdays. Additionally, the mobile experience could be a bit more intuitive and streamlined. Overall, these are minor issues, but improving them would make the platform even better.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom solves the problem of having to rely on multiple systems or HR personnel for everyday work-related tasks. By bringing payroll, time tracking, benefits, and personal information into one platform, it makes everything much more organized and accessible. This saves me time and reduces the need to go back and forth with HR for simple requests like accessing pay stubs or updating personal details.

It also helps improve accuracy and transparency, since I can review my own information, time entries, and pay details directly. Overall, it makes managing my work information more efficient, convenient, and less stressful.

 ### 39. simple to use, and approve pay checks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

What I like best about Paycom is how everything is in one place. It combines payroll, HR, time tracking, and benefits into a single system, which makes managing employee information much more efficient and less time-consuming. I also appreciate the employee self-service feature, since it allows employees to handle things like updating their information, requesting time off, and viewing pay stubs on their own—reducing back-and-forth with HR. Overall, it streamlines processes and helps minimize errors.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

One downside of Paycom is that the system can feel a bit rigid and not very intuitive at times, especially when trying to make edits or navigate between different sections. Some tasks require multiple steps, which can be time-consuming, and the reporting features can be somewhat limited or difficult to customize. Additionally, when issues come up, resolving them can take longer than expected, which can impact efficiency.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom solves the problem of having to manage payroll, HR, timekeeping, and employee data across multiple systems. By bringing everything into one platform, it reduces duplication of work, minimizes errors, and keeps information consistent.

This benefits me by saving time on administrative tasks and making it easier to access and update employee information quickly. It also improves accuracy in payroll and reporting, and the employee self-service feature allows staff to handle routine tasks on their own, which reduces back-and-forth and helps things run more efficiently overall.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> Thank you for your 5-star review! Paycom is built to simplify payroll through automation and a single database that keeps everything working seamlessly together.

What I like most about Paycom is how easy it is to navigate. The layout is straightforward, so I can find what I need without wasting time. It didn’t take long to get comfortable using it, which makes a big difference when you’re using it regularly. Overall, it’s efficient and gets the job done without feeling complicated.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

What I dislike about Paycom is that the interface can feel a bit outdated and not very engaging. While it works well, the design could be improved to make it more modern and user-friendly. Small updates to the layout and visuals could make the overall experience smoother and more intuitive.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom solves the problem of having to manage multiple systems for things like time tracking, payroll, and employee information. Having everything in one place makes it easier to stay organized and reduces confusion. It benefits me by saving time, making tasks more efficient, and giving me quick access to what I need without having to go through multiple steps or platforms.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> We're glad that Paycom has been able to streamline your processes and save you time. Our goal is to simplify HR and payroll tasks for our clients.

 ### 41. So customizable! It is wonderful to have almost all needed HR functions under one roof.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I like that it encompasses so much! I can run background checks, list jobs, have employee management, do payroll, etc, etc. In past jobs I have had almost a dozen different sites I needed to log into depending on what task I was completing.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I would recommend letting users have two tabs open at the same time. I sometimes have one tab open with payroll, one with employee management and one with recruiting all at the same time. I often get logged out or booted out of place when this happens. It would be really helpful to be able to have several sessions open at once.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom made onboarding at this job extremely easy. I am being able to be cross trained efficiently. When learning a new skill, I only have to learn a new section of Paycom, not an entire new system.

 ### 42. It is a great tool for keeping track of my payroll and learnings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Easy access and reminders, Instead of juggling multiple systems, Paycom consolidates payroll, HR, time tracking, benefits, and talent management into a single interface. That reduces data duplication and administrative overhead. A key differentiator is its employee self-service model (like Beti®), which allows employees to manage and even verify their own payroll before submission—this can significantly reduce errors and back-and-forth corrections.

From an operational standpoint, the platform’s real-time data synchronization is valuable—changes made in one module (e.g., timekeeping) immediately reflect in payroll and reporting. That tight integration supports compliance and improves data integrity.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Overall, I like Paycom’s comprehensive platform, but one area that can be challenging is the initial learning curve for new users because of all the features available. I see this as an opportunity, though, because with training and support, users can quickly become proficient and take full advantage of the system.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom solves the challenges of juggling multiple HR and payroll systems by providing an all-in-one platform that automates processes and reduces errors. It also empowers employees to manage their own information, which saves time and minimizes administrative work. For me, this means I can focus on higher-value tasks while having confidence that payroll and HR data are accurate and up to date

 ### 43. It's easy to navigate and use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brandi B.

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

What I like best about Paycom is that it brings many HR functions into one system, which makes tasks like timekeeping, payroll, and employee information easier to manage. I also appreciate how user‑friendly the platform is and that it allows employees to access and update their own information, which helps streamline processes and reduce errors.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

One thing I like least about Paycom is that some features can feel less intuitive and may require extra steps to complete simple tasks. At times, system updates or changes to workflows are not always clearly communicated, which can be frustrating. Additionally, the system can feel rigid, with limited flexibility for customization in certain areas.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom solves the problem of having HR, payroll, timekeeping, and employee data spread across multiple systems. By centralizing these functions into one platform, it reduces manual work, duplicate data entry, and errors. This benefits me by making routine tasks faster and easier to complete, improving accuracy, and giving me quick access to the information I need in one place. It also allows employees to manage their own information, which streamlines workflows and saves time for both staff and management.

 ### 44. Robust HRIS system that takes care of all HR needs for the Company and our Employees!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

As a user, I like having visibility to everything from my PTO to my check stubs, etc. As an administrative user, this program has saved me countless hours because everything is in one system and we are no longer moving data around everywhere. The other thing that I call out every time a colleague asks me about Paycom is the support. Our support team is top notch! They make sure we know how to optimize the platform and anytime we have an issue, they are just a phone call away. They are super friendly and super helpful!

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The billing. A lot of the prices we get quoted are based on number of checks or number of payrolls and while that makes sense for some services and modules, we simply cannot justify it for other services and modules. It would be nice to have other options for some of that stuff and we would utilize more of your services.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our data is much more valid because it is not being moved all of the place. If you change one thing, it updates everything else. We also love the self-onboarding. It has freed up that first day to spend time with the employee on more important things than paperwork.

 ### 45. Excellent All-in-One HR and Payroll Solution That Simplifies Everything

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian E. | Senior Account Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Paycom has been a game-changer for our HR and payroll processes. The single-database platform means no more double data entry or syncing issues between modules, everything from time tracking and employee self-service to onboarding, benefits administration, and automated payroll just flows seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

Nothing comes to mind other than. Occasional Technical Issues Glitches with benefits administration, tax filing/adjustments, arrears, or specific compliance scenarios.
Slow performance with large datasets or frequent minor updates that require repeated training/webinars.
Rare but serious complaints about incorrect reports or payroll/tax handling errors.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paycom primarily solves the biggest pain points in traditional HR and payroll management: fragmented systems, manual data entry, payroll errors, and heavy administrative burden on HR teams.
Before Paycom, many organizations juggle multiple disconnected tools for payroll, time tracking, benefits, onboarding, and reporting. This leads to duplicate data entry, inconsistent information, inaccurate workforce reports, compliance risks, and a lot of time wasted on corrections (like fixing paychecks after they've already run). Payroll errors alone can be costly and frustrating for both employees and employers.
Paycom addresses this with its truly single-database platform that brings everything together, payroll, HR, talent management, time and attendance, benefits administration, and more, into one seamless system. No more syncing issues or hunting for data across apps.

 ### 46. Payroll App That Doesn’t Make Me Pull My Hair Out!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

I’ve used a lot of different HR portals at past jobs, and most of them felt like they were designed in the 90s. Switching to Paycom has been a total game-changer for me as an employee. It’s the first time I actually feel like I’m in control of my own info instead of having to email HR for every little thing.

Everything is Just… Easy (Great UI!)

The Paycom mobile app is super slick. I can clock in, request PTO, and check my benefits in about thirty seconds. The UI is incredibly intuitive—everything is exactly where you’d expect it to be. I didn't even need a manual to figure it out; it’s as easy to use as any social media app on my phone.

I Love the 'What-If' Scenarios

My favorite feature by far is being able to run pay scenarios. Before I decide to put more into my 401(k) or change my tax withholdings, I can actually see exactly how it will affect my take-home pay. It takes the guesswork out of my finances because I can 'preview' my check before the changes are even live. It’s like having a crystal ball for my bank account!

Direct Access to My Own Data

The self-service reporting is also a huge plus. If I need a copy of a past W-2 or want to see a summary of my hours for the month, I can just pull it myself in the app. I don't have to wait three days for a response from the front office. Between that and the Beti® payroll setup, I get to review and approve my own check before it’s even sent, so I know it’s right every single Friday.

Honestly, if you're an employee and your company uses Paycom, consider yourself lucky. It just makes life easier.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

I wish it allowed messaging with HR, but that's about it.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple recordkeeping

 ### 47. Amazing app, has everything you need to know gathered in sections related to what youre looking at

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

The app has all of the information you could possibly need about your paychecks and anything to do with them, and more! And the best part is that its all organized. You're not gunna have a bunch of crap you dont wanna see piled up in one category like they didnt know where else to put it

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The only thing i could think of to consider disliking is that, contrary to what i said in good reguards is that it may be a little "too organized"... meaning some of the things that are in seprate categories or tabs, could be in with another tab

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly im not having any problems whatsoever, and i mainly use the app to approve of my check and see what is going on with my check, so i really couldnt say what problems it's solving. But as far as benefits go, it tells me exactly where every last penny in deductions goes, it gives me all the info i need in terns of timecards and what im getting before and after deductions, and i feel alot better knowing whats happening with my checks

 ### 48. Clean and Easy to Use, but Change Updates Could Be More Transparent

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zachary T. | HR Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Paycom is a clean platform with a good support team. The functionality is easy to use for anyone to use.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

They are not always the most transparent about incoming changes. We can be caught off guard by changes being implemented and only realizing after.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to use one comprehensive system for all HR functions making it easier to not have separate ATS or payroll features.

 ### 49. Very happy with Paycom's ease of use and navigablility.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosemary B.

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

Easy to navigate the site so I can find the information I need quickly. As an older employee, some of us aren't as tech savvy as the younger people and it sucks to have to ask how to do something that should be easy.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

It's not necessarily Paycom but several of us can't punch in until we are all the way into the building and have reached our desk or workspace-and even then sometimes it's an issue. I think that has more to do with internet or possibly the coverage area of the building site? You can be in the building and try to punch in and it'll say something about not recognizing this device even tho it's the same phones we use every time.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's nice to see the amount of my check a few days early and to see where deposits are going each time. Example: I have my basic deposit and also send money to a different account for savings in another bank.

**Official Response from Alexis Correa:**

> We love hearing this! Features like IWant™ help streamline navigation, making it easier to find what you need.

 ### 50. Streamlined Processing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Facilities Services

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Paycom?**

What I Iike best about Paycom is how streamlined the entire process of payroll is. From the timecard clock-in and outs to payroll processing and benefits management, it is a complete package in one. I also appreciate the excellent customer service.

**What do you dislike about Paycom?**

The one downside I can think of is that finding the right report is sometimes difficult. Usually we have to create new ones because we are unsure of the ones that are available. When creating new reports we also don't really know all of the sections to pick from and what areas they are pulling from in Paycom. It would be helpful to have a training on the reporting capabilities.

**What problems is Paycom solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I feel that it has solved human error on the timesheets, benefits, deductions and in the payroll processing. We used to do all this by hand. A lot of our old processes are now automated which frees up our working time to do other things.
