"I Love It!"

What do you like best about Float.com?

Float is SUPER easy to use and very user-friendly. I had never used this kind of software in any of my previous positions and it's so helpful! My managers use it to assign work and make sure that everyone stays on top of their projects. Even on the user end, it's very simple to get the hang of and it makes my life so much easier! What do you like best about Float.com?

Give it a shot. It is a very, very useful tool. If you are in charge of a team running multiple projects, it is a tool that provides GREAT visibility. I've not seen a better tool in the industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A week-at-a-glance view has been proven as a way of improving individual productivity, time management, and performance -- this is why so many electronic planners and hard-copy planners are organized this way. "Good for PMs, can be improved for the users/resources"

What do you like best about Float.com?

Float allows me to see what projects people are allocated on easily, or who is allocated on a project.

It's easy to visually organise time off and adding tentative projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

For the resource or user themselves, there is no email notification if a project has been added, deleted, or updated, so we have to check float regularly, which I think is a bit pointless if you're not a PM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

Ability to view department's schedule to have transparancy between individuals and able to schedule own time round others. Being able to book time-off and able to reflect that on float is very convenient, as no further work can be scheduled on that day and it does not interfere with the rest of the scheduling. What do you dislike about Float.com?

Not able to change times on float if not using a computer. When using a tablet/ mobile device, it is much more difficult to adjust the times of projects than when using a computer as it is very easy to adjsut the times incorrectly either by the length in a day or by how many days total. Worth the cost as the scheduling of time is much more easier to use with float. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to view different department's schedule allows us to plan our work more effectively for when certain apparatus are available when in use by other colleagues. If a project required multiple members of the department to work on them, having float allows all individuals to know when the other is working on a particular project which directly affects them. What do you like best about Float.com?

Float has been very useful in our project management and time allocation. We use it to delegate tasks and projects. It is a great visual representation for scheduling. We also find the time off and milestone features very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

Float can be tricky to use at times and there aren't many resources like guides or videos to reference. Other minor things like the split tool gets stuck sometimes and there isn't a way to unsplit tasks. Sometimes when trying to assign time off the website won't let you do it until you refresh. The differences between admin, project manager, owner are not very clear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
