I like how easy it is to add new projects, tasks and to view a report of any/all project in a matter of just a few clicks, mostly due to its intuitive UI/UX design it is also pretty neat that I can sync my google calendar events Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes there is a visible delay when adding/deleting tasks, other than that I have no issue using Float, hopefully, there will be a self-hosted version in the future Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that you can easily search and pare down to locate the information you need. Visually it is very appealing and easy to maneuver through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do and do not like the holiday feature. I appreciate that you can easily add holidays in different regions, but it’s kind of difficult to customize for a large group. I also have a problem when I am working in Float - the “My projects” “Departments” drop down lingers and I constantly have to click in the search bar to type something to make it go away. Last feature I think could be enhanced - when making changes to an event - there should be a “are you sure” window that pops up to confirm that you do want to delete. I’ve mistakenly made changes before where I didn’t mean to which caused some problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Doesn't have all the features that some other market leaders have, and reporting could continue to improve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the possibility of having a global view of the activities and the possibility of having a fast (very fast) synchronization with the Outlook calendar. Furthermore, it is really useful to assign different roles to people in order to define planning permissions.

Also like the possibility to define different project and client for a better organizzation of the tasks over the people of the team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't relaly love the graphic style of the calendar / schedule view. Hiding over the weekend it is difficult to see at a glance the separation between the various weeks. Also there is no translation of the portal in Italian, not a serious deficiency, but if there were it would be better :)

It also lacks the ability to view your schedule in a daily agenda format in order to have a more precise schedule of your commitments, as you can do through outlook.

I think also that a daily email with a recap of the daily schedule can be useful for improve the work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a bug with the calendar not refreshing automatically, this has caught me a couple of times because I had to refresh manually in the browser and ended up working on projects I should not have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a bit of a lag in email updates, when changes have been made to my calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use float for our resource management to make sure work is allocated evenly so we can see easily if someone is under or over utilised. It is an important part of our Monday morning meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am yet to work out how to make changes to all team members at once. I can shift recurring events for individuals but not for example, shift everyone's tasks to the following week. This feature may be there but I haven't worked it out yet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like most about Float is that you can sort/search not only by people but also by projects. I also like the function that you can add different milestones. They are also displayed in the respective project colors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I dislike the least is that many projects are displayed in the same color. But since I'm not an administrator, I don't know if there are more options in the settings. But that would also be my only personal point of criticism. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
