"Resource allocation tool"

I found it very easy to set-up my projects and add my developers and project roles to manage and report their allocation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-friendly, great for scheduling our projects"

What do you like best about Float.com?

We adopted Float for logging time on projects, and that's great - but the most useful feature has been project scheduling. Being able to see what everyone is on (across offices, across the globe) each week is incredibly useful for better visibility and planning.

I recommend if you use Slack, to get Float integrated - it lets you know what you did that that day and what's coming up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

Tasks- we use tasks to help break up the subtasks in our projects - but they automatically order A-Z. even numbering these, you get to 10 and then 11 won't go numerically after, it will shift to: 1, 11, 2, 3, 4.... and so on! We can figure a way around it I'm sure, by numbering maybe 00001, 00002, etc.

We also miss the checklist features we had with Trello - would be great to see a feature like this added for projects! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Time tracking on projects, to help us better identify where we've underestimated or got it right.

- Improved visibility on our global resourcing across our teams.

- Time tracking on our client incidents, for us this is useful as before we used float we weren't keeping tabs on how much resource time was spent not only during the incident, but in the wrap up and reporting afterwards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Float.com?

Float allows us to better manage our projects and teams, track overtime work, vacations, sick leaves, etc.

It is easy to use and very convenient to simply drag the projects in the calendar view

Also, you can mark departments, skills, tags which is very handy as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy project and forward planning"
