What do you like best about Calendly?

I mostly use Calendly for interviews, quick client calls, and follow-ups, and honestly it makes scheduling a lot less annoying. Before this, I used to coordinate times manually over email or Slack, and it ended up wasting more time than I expected especially when different time zones were involved.

The booking links are probably the most useful feature for me, because people can just pick an available slot directly without all the back-and-forth. I also like the reminders and buffer settings, since they help prevent overlapping meetings and reduce last-minute confusion. What do you dislike about Calendly?

One thing I’ve noticed is that calendar syncing can sometimes take a bit of time to update availability correctly. It doesn’t happen all the time, but during busier schedules I’ve run into a few cases where the timing didn’t reflect properly and I had to manually adjust it afterward.

Some of the routing and availability settings also felt a little confusing at first, especially when I was managing multiple meeting types at the same time. What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?

Calendly has largely solved the constant back-and-forth scheduling problem for me. Before using it, I was manually coordinating times through messages, emails, and calendar checks, and it honestly got messy pretty quickly once multiple people were involved.

Now I typically just send a booking link, and meetings get scheduled much faster with far fewer follow-ups. The timezone handling and reminders have also helped cut down on missed meetings and unnecessary rescheduling, which makes day-to-day scheduling feel a lot smoother overall. If you feel stuck setting up your account and templates, ask questions. Support is easy to work with and they know their program best. What do you like best about OpenTable for Restaurants?

The vast majority of our stores use OpenTable all day, every day. Both the back end (manager use) and the front end (server/host use) are intuitive and fully featured. The app is very stable and works seamlessly across a variety of mobile devices. On the rare occasions we’ve needed support, OpenTable’s team has been responsive, taken ownership, and resolved the issue quickly. The OpenTable platform also integrates with many other restaurant and POS systems, and we’re currently evaluating whether to implement more of those integrations. The return on investment was fairly quick across most locations, most within the year. As far as artificial intelligence, there's more additions all the time and we're currently working to see how we can leverage this tech in our daily workflows. What do you like best about Cal.com?

The flexibility of their API call, and how well documented they are. The UI/UX is also better than Calendly or other booking tools in my opinion Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cal.com?

Their support is bad. There is a recent webhook issue with their API and the call identifier was not passed from their end. I've raised and followed-up with the issue multiple times. There is no follow-through on the matter and updates on whether the issue is resolved.

As you can imagine, the call identifier is important for me to use in my downstream automation and without that, everything breaks. The team is not professional in resolving the issue for me or know the severity of it all.

When followed-up again, their reply to me was "Can you test it out now?" or "These things take a bit of time but we will update you as soon as we line it up. It's been 19 hours since I reported the issue".

And I had to be the one who proactively followed-up with them. Until now I still did not get an updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, the integrations with delivery apps like Swiggy and Zomato still need some tightening up. Also, while the initial onboarding and setup were quite fast, getting high-level support during late-night hours can be tough. Competitive pricing on the platform (it's free) but travel (discounted) is a win. It allows easy to use policy creation, great UI and voice activated, via integration with Salesforce Agentforce voice to use on the go. The performance is top notch, support and onboarding is human even if automated and likely AI enabled. The AI features are additive, not excessive. I also like direct billing, the flexibility to cancel the same day, and having a charge card for off-platform purchases, along with additional travel rewards. What do you like best about UMAI?

Customers are very digital savvy these days (especially those that seek more sophisticated dining experiences) and are highly dependent on IT services like Google Maps, Google My Business etc before they decide to visit a restaurant. So its essential to have a reservation button integrated directly on your Google My Business profile.That is what customers are used to and what they expect.
