What I like most about ClickUp is that it brings almost everything my team needs into one platform. The UI feels clean, and once you get used to it, it’s easy to navigate. I also like being able to switch between List, Board, Calendar, and Dashboard views depending on the project and what we’re trying to track. On top of that, it integrates smoothly with tools we already use, which helps reduce context switching.
In terms of performance, it’s been reliable for day-to-day work, even when we’re managing projects with a large number of tasks. From a value perspective, it includes a lot of features compared to other project management tools, so it’s been a solid investment for our team. The onboarding resources and documentation made getting started easier as well, even though there’s still a bit of a learning curve.

At first, I thought Foxit would simply be a good enough alternative to the tool we were using before. After several months, though, I realized that for many tasks it was actually more convenient. The first thing that stood out to me was the performance. I work constantly with technical documentation, contracts, diagrams, specifications, and some pretty large PDF files. Before, opening a large document often meant waiting around. With Foxit, the difference was noticeable from day one. Files open quickly, and the application uses fewer resources than I expected. That smooth experience really adds up when you're opening dozens of PDFs every day. From a UI/UX perspective, it felt familiar almost immediately. Another unexpected benefit was electronic signatures. We originally got Foxit for PDF editing, but we ended up using eSign as well for internal approvals and documents that required signatures. One of the first things I notice is how easy it is to edit PDFs that would normally be a pain to work with. Updating text, adding images, creating fillable fields, or getting a document ready for signature only takes a few minutes, and I can do everything straight from the browser. More than once we've had to make last-minute changes to a proposal right before sending it, and being able to update it without downloading or converting files has saved us a lot of unnecessary stress. I also end up using templates all the time. A lot of our contracts, proposals, and onboarding documents are almost identical from one client to the next, so instead of copying old files and hoping nobody forgets to update something, we just fill in the fields and move on. It saves time and cuts down on those little mistakes that always seem to sneak in. I also like how easy it is to share documents, send them out for signature, and keep track of where everything stands. Instead of wondering if someone has reviewed a contract or signed a document yet, I can check the status in a few seconds. The ability to self-host (which we do for security reasons) is a big plus for us.
We can also completely customize the system to fit our needs. The UI recently received an update, and it looks great.
We’re able to integrate with our PSA, HaloPSA, which is important for our workflow.
Performance has been excellent, everything works as expected.
Pricing is another strong point, since it doesn’t impose any minimum user requirements and doesn’t lock you into a contract.
In terms of support, we haven’t run into any issues or had any needs so far. We also self-onboarded, since we’re self-hosting our instance.
