Our business began in 1997 as ‘Tracker Software Products Ltd’ to develop document management and imaging-related software. These products included TIFF and PDF digital conversion utilities that enabled the conversion of many document formats to TIFF and PDF for subsequent archiving within document management products. These standalone conversion applications quickly proved their worth and we made the decision to concentrate on the development of these utilities for the end-user and third-party software developer markets. During the intervening years we have become a global leader in the PDF software market. Our offices are located in Canada, the U.K., Bulgaria and Ukraine. Our corporate headquarters relocated to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, in 2008. At 2016 we incorporated PDF-XChange Co Ltd in the U.K. to tie together all of our interests worldwide. In the coming months it is our intention to rebrand all of our sales and marketing under this one common brand worldwide. Our vision is to provide dynamic and powerful software for the creation, editing, manipulation and conversion of PDF documents, and our applications can convert a huge range of document formats to and from PDF. Our dedicated team of developers strive continually to improve the quality and functionality of our products. We aim to create applications that are flexible enough to meet the needs of all practitioners from novice users to professional document creators. Our software creates files that conform to the internationally-recognized ISO PDF standard, which means they are compatible with all major PDF document viewers/editors worldwide.

"Lightweight Editor with Powerful Annotation Features"

What do you like best about PDF-XChange Editor?

I used PDF-XChange Editor for collaborating and creating annotations on drawings, and it was the best in the market. The main reason I used it was because of the smoothness and lightweight nature coupled with a powerful annotation bundle. I appreciate its ability to work well on budget computers. I also like the annotation bundle and the ability to add JavaScript tools. It was perfect for editing PDF files, allowing for perfect content editing without needing to use Doc or xlsx files. The initial setup was really easy, and if you've worked with other PDF tools before, you can easily adapt to this one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF-XChange Editor?

I think the UI could be improved. It's somehow old-fashioned. I think a modern design would be better. If there was a feature to add pattern fill to objects, it would be very useful. For example, a diagonal hatch for a rectangle instead of a solid fill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PDF-XChange Editor?

My experience with PDF-XChange Editor has been nothing less than satisfactory. It integrates directly with Outlook to send and manage documents without switching applications. Its toolset is powerful and versatile; in my day to day life, I need to review, edit and manage a wide variety of PDF documents and PDF-XChange delivers every time. I like its speed and ease of use; I can annotate documents, make quick edits and move between tools, as well as convert formats and even scan documents directly from the editor. What do you dislike about PDF-XChange Editor?

While there is always room for improvement in any tool, in this case it's difficult for me to point out relevant negative aspects. Its robustness, performance and functionality make it a tool that I would recommend without reservation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PDF-XChange Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?

With PDF-XChange Editor I can't only make quick edits to PDF documents without having to convert them to another format, but also sign files directly and reduce the time spent on administrative processes. What do you like best about PDF-XChange Editor?

Very easy to use, amazing features such as mark ups, book marks, advance search options, thumbnails, manipulating page order and orientation etc. good speed and love the OCR Conversion as well as exporting to images, exporting to excel and word and multiple editing options on ones figertips. What do you dislike about PDF-XChange Editor?

I am trying to use Java Console and compared to Adobe PDF, it is not that friendly. In search if there could be an option to highlight different search wildcards with different colors, it would be very helpful for complex documentation checking. Comments resolution can be another feature like MS Word like if someone comments on the document, the next user can review and comment on it further with a chain traceability in same comment can can resolve or reject etc. the comment as well. What problems is PDF-XChange Editor solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am a design manager and engineer by profession alot of documents and layouts and drawings for us need to be issued and reviewed with comments as well. Alot of time Auto CAD and MS Word and MS Excel documentation has to be converted into rich text pdf and it helps alot.
