And the mobile-responsiveness of the product continues to get better. This is quite a complex product, and I commend the entire FlippingBook staff for their regular well-thought-out updates, and responsive tech support. **What do you dislike about FlippingBook?** There were many more issues in the early Flash days. IMO the HTML5 version matured pretty quickly, and I have no reservations recommending it wholeheartedly. **What problems is FlippingBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used it primarily for an auction gallery in NYC. They published printed catalogues for many of their sales. I took the .pdf of each catalogue and create a "3D Catalogue" from that .pdf. The end result looks great. ### 2. It's also great to see the stats and analytics to track which of our offerings are the best performing by view count, pages where users spent the most or least amount of time, and more. **What do you dislike about FlippingBook?** The major growth opportunity would be for FlippingBook to offer in-app authoring of pages. Currently, my team creates PDFs using other software, then we upload to FlippingBook and add interactivity. Secondly, my team had to find workarounds for including video assets as FlippingBook currently only allows for YouTube, Vimeo, and Wistia, though I saw a notice that there is a planned enhancement that allows users to embed mp4 videos into their books. **What problems is FlippingBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** My team designs and develops sales enablement assets for sales professionals selling SAAS products. I publish an independent, non-profit architectural magazine, small run, and rely on a flipook for each issue on our website. We don't fit the big sell, marketting, product-shifting profile that other flipbook creators are increasing geared and priced for. We are selling content, not product, a concept seemingly incomprehensible to US/Silicon Valley. I've left my old provider of flipbooks for FlippingBooks and feel a great relief. The price point is better for us. The support is better. The learning curve is easier and quicker. The fit between what FlippingBook offers and what I need is better. I'm not a developer, just a user and so far have done just the basic flip book shift from one code block to another. At my company, we create 1 main flipbook per year, and then make regionalized duplicates in other languages. We upload the US PDF, add the interactive elements, and then make a copy and swap the regionalized PDF in its place. The interactive elements remain in place during the swap, so I don't have to rebuild them for each version. I love that feature and I have never had the process fail even once. I also appreciate that FlippingBook accurately integrates the many hyperlinks that our PDFs contain, so I don't have to add them manually. I also appreciate the privacy controls that make it possible to gate the flipbook behind contact forms. FlippingBook customer serivce is awesome. They have always been very fast to respond and have quickly been able to answer my questions. I also apprecitate the analytics that are included in our subscription. It helps us know which topics to focus on by showing us which flipbooks get the most views, which pages are viewed, how much time is spent in the document, and what platforms our viewers are using to view the flipbooks. **What do you dislike about FlippingBook?** Since we have a dedicated in-house design department, we didn't need design features within our flipbook platform. We design our PDFs within the bounds of our brand in Adobe products, and then we upload the finals to FlippingBook. I suppose that if we didn't design that way that we might be inclined to want layout capabilities within the FlippingBook interface. When we were evaluating the different flipbook platforms, we didn't really like the way the design/layout features worked in the other flipbook platforms, specifically the inability to download and archive a design project that could be opened locally, so we decided to keep our designs in Adobe, and upload the final PDFs to FlippingBook, and this has worked nicely for us. **What problems is FlippingBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a more interesting method of sharing a whitepaper report by including multimedia elements like video, audio, and hyperlinks. **Official Response from Alina K.:** > Thank you for your thoughtful review! I also like that you can implement an ever present CTA, allowing people to take further action if they need or want more information. **What do you dislike about FlippingBook?** Needing to manually select all display settings everytime you upload or create a new flippingbook feels cumbersome and unnecessary. Also, it would be great to be able to pull a weekly report that shows all view+usage metrics, by individual files (FB currently provides a report that captures total views). **What problems is FlippingBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helping to bring our printer materials to life in a way that PDFs can't. It also allows us to track who views each file - as we have these gated, requiring viewers to input their email to gain access - creating a warm lead funnel for our Sales team. Creating a Flippng Books is super easy and efficient and the platform offers many valuable features in designing the flipbook. We love the ability to match our branding or utilize other template designs, the table of contents feature, ability to embed videos and links and more. Another great design of the platform is the ability to creat folders so that we can easily catalog our flipbook library. The data analytics provided on utilization is also very valuable. It allows us to asses what information employees are looking for, how the books are performing etc, so we can adjust our marketing and education as needed. I created an Open Enrollment Resources guide and the feedback has been astounding. Employees love the ease of finding content and have reported how clear and helpful having the resource enabled them to make confident benefit enrollment decisions. We have also seen a huge reduction in questions received from employees, as the resource provides them what they need. Sometimes a logo or similar will be too large. We are able to share an interactive PDF that they can see links and videos in one simple place. It really makes content stand out when people can "flip" through a booklet in lieu of a boring PDF. **What do you dislike about FlippingBook?** The price is really high - maybe I am not using it fully or missing something but compared to other software I use and can build "things" with - this seems like it's not the best value. I actually found an alternative that I like with more function for (literally) 10% of the price so I will not be renewing my subscription this year. **What problems is FlippingBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think the benefits are the ability to share out really great content in buckets via links...I can't do that with PDF's as they take up lots of space and are more difficult to share. I don't have any issues/challenges with Flippingbook.
