"Great Tool For Booking My Team"

What do you like best about Float.com?

It's extremely easy to see- at a glance- what my team is booked on and who has extra time in their schedule. It also includes vacations and holidays. I no longer need to guess what's in my resource manager's head. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is partially an organizational problem, but time logging, project tracking, invoicing all happen in separate systems. A one stop shop would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool to use for scheduling in a creative studio"

What do you like best about Float.com?

Float is super easy to use. We love that we can select or make our own colours. Also love the new tentative feature, it has made planning projects so much easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

I dislike that we are unable to move jobs to the top of a person's WIP or change the order of jobs easily. Also, when duplicating jobs, the new Float causes the screen to go white and then when I refresh, my changes haven't been made. Also, the search function doesn't often work when searching for job numbers. The log is good but it would be good to be able to search for job numbers of the log without having to scroll through. "Functional, but difficult UI"

What do you like best about Float.com?

It allows me to schedule my time among various, billable projects as well as for time off. Others like being able to use that to project cash flow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

The UI is really difficult to use. While it does seem to be improving, it requires fore knowledge of unintuitive UI elements that don't outwardly suggest being interactive and also fine-grained mouse clicking on distinct elements that are very close together. Recommendations to others considering Float.com:

Ask them to write a new UI. The functionality is fine as far as I can tell, but their UI really needs some more attention to detail and user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Designed for the user in mind"

What do you like best about Float.com?

Very handy to get to where I want with ease. Find it great that I can find out no just what project im working on, but company-wide data. The search system is very intuitive, for example not just searching people but extending to job roles, departments.. etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
