What do you like best about Float.com?

It's easy to use, share and visualise timings/deadlines/etc.

It helps get everyone on the same page in terms of project activity, and is especially good at helping individuals manage their deadlines and daily tasks. Especially individuals that seem to struggle in this area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

The biggest feature that's missing from this service is a method to measure Float predictions against actually output. And get suggestions to optimise! As in, how much time did we actually spend on that project? Was it 10 when we estimated 4? Or 2 when we estimated 8? We could get better at making Float work for us rather than making us work for Float if this were an option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has had some inverse effects on our team and team dynamics. Our team now works to make our work match Float, not to make Float match our needs. This is probably a management on our issue, but the nature of the platform to make shapes fit perfectly means we neglect key human features that would be nice to have the system flag:

i.e. Do we now have six people working on the same project in order to meet a deadline? This isn't really efficient to have multiple people on the same project at once. In reality, we loose time. And neglects the expertise of any one individual and the time they've invested in that project in the upfront. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Love the Calendar View"

What do you like best about Float.com?

the fact that there is a character limit in the comments section. Limited detail added to briefs.

"Quick and Easy!"

What do you like best about Float.com?

I've only been using it for about 6 months but I love how clean and to the point it is. I find my name and find out what my duties are for that day. I travel a lot so its really nice to be able to look at a week and see where in the country I may be. It allows me to start planning my travel and some sightseeing with plenty of time to spare so that once the time comes, I just get on a plane and go to work! What do you dislike about Float.com?

There's no Android app. That's a big turn off but I manage. I'd really appreciate this functionality in the future.

I'm not sure if its just me but when I log in on my computer, each area takes up the whole screen. its quite strange. I have to scroll to the next person even though they should be smaller boxes. on my phone they are almost too squished to read and I haven't found a way manually size the boxes. As a user I don't really solve any issue but some benefits are being able to see my and my coworkers schedules. My coworkers and I are all scattered around the country so its nice to be able to quickly look at an upcoming job then find out who is on it with me without having to call them all and find out who I'm working with! The page doesn't always refresh by itself. So if someone is editing the schedules while you're looking at it, you risk consulting an obsolete version if you don't click refresh by yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our creatives had way too much work for different projects, we had no view on what they where asked to do during the day. So now we are having a meeting once a week to organize and prioritize things, and we're quickly aware if someone has an overload of work, so we can do something about it.
