What do you like best about Float.com?

I like the overall performance you gain from Float. If you know which person is not in-house you can just work around these obstacles. Additionally you get an overall overview who is working on which project for instance. It makes my life so much easier and more productive. "Great tool for managing workflow in the team"

What do you like best about Float.com?

Came across Float while working on couple of crucial pilot projects for a big client . I'd like to appreciate how easy float made our lives in managing and allocating the workflow among team members. The UI is quite intuitive as you can view the entire team calendar in one place and add/ delete or modify tasks, jobs with ease (the colour coding is such a time saver and helps avoid confusion). Staying ahead of deadlines is so crucial in client deliverables and float was quite instrumental in helping do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

Seemed to take up significant RAM space (at times) even while running in the background which really slowed down the system especially while working on a virtual machine. Otherwise, no other complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

It really helped manage the workflow of the team (assigning projects to different team members, tracking free hours, off days or leaves, etc). The colour coding is such a simple yet a very impactful tool. The tutorial videos (such as the ones on youtube) really helped understand some of the possible functionalities much better bring in further efficiencies in work management. What do you like best about Float.com?

It is very intuitive. With Float you are able to check your planner and compare it with others. You can create projects and add people to it, so the review is much easier. It is flexible and visually clean. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

I do not like that I can't remove default bookmarks or rename them, eg. the keyword "Me" is reserved for the current user. With "Me" selected I don't see everything related to me, as when I choose my name and last name. The second thing - you can't choose the timezones if you cooperate with other countries. What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

Planning for what devs do often seemed to chop and change throughout weeks, thoroughly frustrating devs. Float helped management put what developers were going to be doing down on paper and helped developers know what they were doing in the future as well as what their fellow team members were allocated to as well. However, some management have stopped updating Float with the resource allocation, so it doesn't seeem to have worked as Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
