The interface is pretty predictable, it usually works just like I think it does. This is very useful because while I'm working hard it's not great to spend a lot of time registering what I was doing, so the process of producing timesheets should be fast and straightforward. Nothing is too bad but I have some ideas for improvements:

- While I'm creating a task, I might not be part of the project of the said task yet, so it would be nice to show me Projects I'm not a part of and a way to solicit entering the projects so I can create the task and then later my manager just have to approve it.

- Notes is a one-line text input, it should probably be a multi-line text area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Float helps me plan my day in the most efficient way, and not overschedule myself. It gives me a guideline for how much work I can take on without taking on too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can be buggy, and the calendar integration doesn't always work. it's not super intuitive but once you get the hang of it, it's worth it. The support team are really helpful too if there are any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The time-logging process couldn't be smoother. And the big-picture visibility of time logged for the week (any week) is great! It's way easier to fix time-logging mistakes on the fly. That was very tedious with the system my company used before: Accelo. I'm glad we switched. To be clear, I was not an administrator of our Float system, I was just a user—an employee who used it for logging time. Took me a few moments to get the hang of the user interface. The UI is not that complicated, but it's different from what I was used to. Once it clicked for me I had no issues. Now I prefer the Float UI style. I think it's more elegant. Less obvious from the software designer's point of view, but ultimately more straightforward for the end-user.

I guess the only thing I don't like about float is that it is only a scheduling software and you are not able to input actual numbers and compare them to scheduled ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A float is an excellent tool for resource and project management. It is very user-friendly and very intuitive. We have found it to be exactly what we wanted it to do for our purposes. Having many individuals informed adequately about their teams' workloads has allowed everyone to manage resources and projects more efficiently. Working on Float simultaneously with others in real-time has also been beneficial since we usually need to log in, update, and then get on with everything else. UI of Float seems old. The Colour scheme needs an update, filter option is sometimes confusing in a way about what to select and from where but overall it is fine and manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
