I like that Redmine is very easy and simple to use, which makes it perfect for our team to manage tasks efficiently. What's great is the level of security it provides, as it can't be accessed without VPN, which is crucial since we work in healthcare and need to keep our client's personally identifiable health information safe. Redmine's open-source nature means it's accessible across different operating systems, making it seamless for our entire organization to use. I'm thankful for this, as it helps maintain our workflow without hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I mean, so whenever you are added to an organization in Redmine, it starts to send you all of these email notifications. So, of course, there is a workaround and you can turn them off for the ones which you are not a part of. And, like, that's still okay, but the UI is very old, and I feel like it can be, you know, somewhat more like a task tracking so that it caters more for the issue tracking issues. I feel like if you open the Redmine and you open the organization, you are able to see everyone's every detail which you don't wanna see. So maybe this could have been a feature where we have, like, teams, and then we tag those teams into those issues so that it only clogs the teams or, like, the people who are in the teams who are associated with that particular issue or sub-issue so it doesn't really clog everyone's screen because that actually makes the Gantt view and the HR view screens of Redmine really, really, you know, unstructured and full of data, which doesn't really make sense.
