"A good positive experience with Consensus from the perspective of a Solutions Engineer"
5/5
What do you like best about Consensus?

The ability for a user to viewer/user to rank which videos in a playlist (Standard Personalization Demo) are important vs. not important is great. Sharing videos using a "Demoboard" is simple and intuitive. The analytics and tracking is in depth and insightful. Salesforce integration also works well and is seamless. We love that it accelerates sales cycles but giving buyers what they need upfront. Deals tend to move a bit faster because prospects are more information before the first meeting. Consensus allows us to eliminate unnecessary discovery calls. Consensus has also allows our Sales and SE teams to be better aligned. Sales can now run further without SE involvement. It been a force multiplier for our SE team, so fewer repetitive live demos and more time to focus on complex deals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Consensus?

The UI/UX could be polished a bit. I wish it was easier to add one off demos (just one video, called a "Single Experience" demo) and create a playlist on the fly to add these to. Sometimes the behavior for deleting videos can be a bit buggy and delayed. I wish we had more control over demo look and feel, specifically around the ability to customize branding more. Sometimes it can be difficult finding video assets, specifically around locating older demos and managing multiple video assets effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Demo Sharing with Flawless Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Consensus?

I use Consensus to share demos with clients in sales, and I like how easy it is to get all my demos out. There are multiple ways to share the link, which is really convenient. I appreciate just how simple it is, and then I get to see if they've watched it, which is really, really nice to know. The feature of creating demo boards and tracking if they viewed the demo is very valuable and critical for my job. The initial setup was super easy, and I've never had any problems; I was always able to get started right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Consensus?

It might just be user error, but I think previewing the demos first is a little bit hard to find how to do that. So just making that a little bit more simple and being able to watch those demos as myself rather than a client would be good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exactly what we needed"
5/5
What do you like best about Consensus?

Consensus provides a tool for our sellers to share videos and information with potential clients in efficient and engaging ways. It multiplies the efforts of our demo teams and helps prospects learn more about our solutions on their own time.

Additionally, the solution is plug-and-play, it only took our demo team a matter of minutes to ramp up on using the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Consensus?

There are a couple of small UI elements in the client viewing experience that we'd like to see tweaked. Also looking forward to some developments on back-end efficiency and organization. But these are fairly small issues compared to the many benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Client Engagement and Follow-Up"
5/5
What do you like best about Consensus?

I like the way I can stack all my demos into one link and send it to clients. I appreciate being able to track how many times they've seen it and get notifications when they view the videos. I find it very beneficial that I can see how often my clients have viewed the video, as this helps me know when to follow up with them. It's a sweet spot for client engagement. The setup is fairly easy, creating dashboards is straightforward, and it's a user-friendly product that doesn't require intense training, which is the best part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Consensus?

The only thing which doesn't work for me is I can't really view the demos very quickly while I'm on the call, and I just want to use Consensus for my own information. I have to kind of click a fair few buttons to actually open up the video and see it for myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Cua of Consensus

Hi Kesha, being able to stack all your demos into one link and get notified when clients view them, especially seeing repeat views as a signal for when to follow up, sounds like a great rhythm for staying on top of client engagement. Thanks for sharing this.

Appreciate the feedback on quickly previewing a video yourself mid-call, too.

"Enhances Prospect Engagement with Custom Demos"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Consensus?

I like that Consensus is easy to use, especially when it comes to recording custom videos and embedding demos within emails to send to prospects. The tracking feature is also great, providing notifications when someone watches a video, which prompts a follow-up email. I think the product is creative and offers a different way to show a demo, making it more personalized for the prospects. We've been using it in our workflow and finding effective ways for prospects to engage with the videos. Being able to track who shares the video and how much they watch helps in our selling process, and I appreciate how it stands out in email outreach by allowing video embedding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Consensus?

I don't like how when we send things off, there's this whole process where people have to click and choose what’s important before they get to the actual video. It feels unnecessary because I usually know what I want to send to specific contacts. We're targeting specific accounts, so when someone like a director, VP, or CHRO receives it, they shouldn’t have to go through extra steps of telling us what's important. I’d prefer they just click on a name and the demo starts playing without all the additional choices. It would be more efficient if there was an option for them to simply get the demo the way we intended it without navigating choices about what's important or not. It just adds time for busy professionals who might not want to deal with that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Cua of Consensus

Hi Javon, being able to record custom videos, embed them right in outreach emails, and get a notification the moment someone watches is a great combination for timing follow-ups. Tracking who shares the video and how much they watch is exactly the kind of insight we want reps to have. Thanks for such a detailed review!

Appreciate the feedback on the steps senior contacts go through before the video starts, especially when you’re targeting specific accounts. Good, specific detail to have on record.

"A powerful tool to showcase evidence-based insights in product demos"
5/5
What do you like best about Consensus?

What I like best about Consensus is how effective it is as a demonstration tool. It allows me to quickly showcase the value of evidence-based research across different use cases, which makes it very powerful in front of prospects. In just a few minutes, I can illustrate how a complex question can be translated into clear, research-backed insights. It helps make the product very tangible and easy to understand, especially for non-technical audiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Consensus?

From a demo perspective, the main limitation is that results can vary depending on how the question is framed or the maturity of the topic. For very niche or business-specific use cases, it sometimes requires a bit of preparation to ensure the output is impactful during a live demo. It’s a great tool for showcasing potential, but like any product, it works best when the use case is well positioned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Demo Engagement Insights"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Consensus?

Consensus has improved the way I engage prospects throughout the sales cycle. I especially like being able to share on-demand product demos that allow buyers to explore the parts of the platform that are most relevant to them, on their own schedule. The engagement intelligence is also a big plus: I can see who is watching the demos, which content they spend the most time on, and which features generate the greatest interest. Those insights help me prepare for follow-up conversations and keep discussions focused on what matters most to the customer. Learning how to create and share demo experiences took a few tries before I got it right, but now I simply copy and paste the template I made for myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Consensus?

I feel like I’m underutilizing the platform. I’d like deeper AI-driven insights and recommendations that help sellers understand not only what content prospects viewed, but also which actions are most likely to move an opportunity forward. The reporting and dashboard experience can sometimes take a few extra clicks to get to the specific information I’m looking for. More report customization options, along with easier access to key engagement metrics, would be a welcome improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Cua of Consensus

Hi there, going from running the same intro demos over and over to letting stakeholders explore on their own schedule, while you see who’s engaged and what they care about, is exactly the shift we hope this creates. Building your own template to copy and paste is a smart way to make it repeatable. Thanks for such a thorough write-up!

Appreciate the feedback on reporting access, customization, and wanting more guidance from the insights too. Good, specific detail to have on record.

"Easy to Use with Powerful Sharing Features"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Consensus?

I like how easy it is to create and edit things in Consensus and how you can share them out while tracking all the stats. I enjoy the live links feature because it makes it really easy to put the URL anywhere and it embeds well into other websites. You can just pop in the Consensus URL for an iframe, and it works pretty well. When you send it to someone, they just click the link, and it opens without needing to sign in, verify, or deal with popups, which is nice. The initial setup was also easy, and our CSM was very helpful with the learning curve, so I felt supported in learning how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Consensus?

I think the naming conventions and how the folders are created is a little confusing. Sometimes things exist in multiple places, or it's a little difficult to find things that have been created, especially if you use the Chrome extension tools. I think if there was just a pop up or a prompt for every time you create something, it asks you to name it yourself. Like, it doesn't auto name it for you. As well as move it to the desired folder you want it in. Would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Cua of Consensus

Hi Rany, thank you for such a thorough review. We’re glad the live links have been easy to share and embed, with recipients able to open them without signing in or dealing with pop-ups, and we’re happy to hear your CSM supported you through the learning curve. We also appreciate your specific suggestion about being prompted to name each item and choose its folder when you create it, and we will share it with our team.

"Makes Sharing Timely Demos Easy and Boosts More Productive Customer Conversations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Consensus?

Consensus makes it really easy to share relevant demos with my customers or prospects at the right time. It also helps me educate customers and get them excited about what’s coming up before our call, so our conversations are more productive and fruitful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Consensus?

Sometimes it’s frustrating to attach demo videos to an account. It’s also difficult to send general demo videos, as opposed to using Loom. On top of that, the UI was updated with no communication to users, which was very frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Cua of Consensus

Being able to prioritize which accounts get tailored demos, while still saving hours overall on giving demos to customers, is exactly the efficiency we want to give reps. Thanks for sharing this.

Appreciate the feedback on demo attachment, general demo sharing, and communication around recent UI changes, too. Good, specific feedback to have on record.
