What do you like best about Cloudinary?

Cloudinary has significantly improved the way we manage images and videos on our projects. The automatic optimization of file sizes and formats makes websites load much faster without sacrificing quality. I really like the flexibility of transformations, the fast CDN delivery, and the ability to store all assets in one central place. It saves a lot of time for both developers and content creators. What do you dislike about Cloudinary?

The admin panel sometimes seems overloaded, especially for new users who are just getting to grips with advanced transformations. Some features require additional study of documentation or tutorials. What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cloudinary helps us solve the problem of storing, organizing, and delivering large volumes of media files across different projects. Before, we spent too much time manually resizing and optimizing images and videos. Now, everything is automated: transformations, responsive delivery, and fast CDN integration. "Switching to Cloudinary for our training videos, we've experienced flawless streaming performance!"

What do you like best about Cloudinary?

The streaming performance has been a complete game-changer for our cybersecurity awareness training program. Before switching to Cloudinary, we constantly dealt with buffering issues and inconsistent video quality that frustrated both our team and trainees. Now, our videos load instantly and stream smoothly regardless of the viewer's connection speed or device. What really sets Cloudinary apart for me is their dynamic transformation capabilities. Being able to automatically optimize video quality, resize content on-the-fly, and deliver the perfect format for each user's device has eliminated so many headaches. It's incredibly satisfying to finally have a platform that just works reliably, letting us focus on creating great training content instead of troubleshooting technical issues. What do you dislike about Cloudinary?

Early on we ran into some issues around dynamic transformations causing our videos to be constantly reprocessed, which then made the video fail to load while the processing was happening. I’ve been really happy with Cloudinary. The free plan offers a lot and being able to purchase upgrades or credits whenever I need them is super convenient. You can't reverse search an image - if I have an asset I've found, but don't know where it's stored in cloudinary, I can't search using the image. A feature similar to google image search would be useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Using Cloudinary to power our e-commerce site"

What do you like best about Cloudinary?

Cloudinary allows us to support image creation for our catalog of many thousands of items. Our developers lean heavily on the query-parameter based parameterization in order to quickly build and support new transformation types as needed. What do you dislike about Cloudinary?

As Cloudinary is an end-to-end solution, we would prefer to use particular components a la carte and forego others, such as the ability to skip the Cloudinary CDN and front everything in our own CDN. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Cloudinary solving and how is that benefiting you?

We primarily need Cloudinary to allow us to take a source image and run it through a large number of transformations in order to generate versions suitable for thumbnail, mobile display, e-mail sending, etc. We're most often using the compression, resizing, cropping, and filetype conversion features.
