"Cloudinary Makes Media Management Effortless and Boosts ROI"

What do you like best about Cloudinary?

Cloudinary is not just a CDN, but the de facto standard platform for images and video on the web. It is easy to use for developers, marketers and creatives and has dramatically reduced complications with delivering the right media to the right device at the right time. As a small business, media management will never be a profit center for us, so ease of implementation and integration are key for us and Cloudinary delivers. Additionally, new features and functionality only serve to increase our ROI as our adoption continues. The value for our teams and our business is undeniable. What do you dislike about Cloudinary?

Cost and sticker shock is definitely a concern, but overall value outweighs cost completely for us. A portion of the AI features are not relevant to our business. Cloudinary's digital asset management, optimization and on-the-fly delivery replaces expensive home grown projects to perform these tasks. We are able to integrate it seamlessly with our own platforms through the API, and by taking advantage of its dynamic image manipulation features, we can deliver the most efficient image format and size for each specific placement and device. When using with Contentstack is easy, but not fully featured. For example having an image in cloudinary the metadata and everything has to live in Cloudinary instead of Contentstack. What do you like best about Cloudinary?

I love that Cloudinary has a generous starter tier that helped our small greenfield startup get off the ground. It's great how it supports a wide range of SDKs for any language or platform, which is a huge time-saver for us as a Ruby-on-Rails platform, especially since Cloudinary supports Ruby and Rails out of the box. The UI is friendly and makes it super easy to manage and tag our uploaded assets, so we can confidently delete outdated variants without worrying about impacting production assets. Cloudinary's integration with ActiveStorage is a seamless drop-in solution, which made it extremely easy to set up by just installing it and copying their sample configuration.
