The thing I like most about Cloudinary is that it offers a generous free plan with a good amount of storage. I believe it provides around 25 GB of storage on its free tier, which is quite useful for developers. It allows me to upload, store, and retrieve media files directly through my application with minimal effort. As a developer, I find Cloudinary extremely useful because I often build applications that require media storage, such as images and other files. It also provides SDKs that make integration with applications much easier. Because of its generous free tier, developer-friendly tools, and ease of integration, Cloudinary is my go-to free solution for media storage.

What I like best about Cloudinary is how effortlessly it handles media uploads, storage, and on-the-fly URL image transformations for my web and mobile chat application. Integrating the API keys with a React frontend and a C#/.NET backend took very little setup, and the Dynamic folders mode makes organizing user-uploaded chat media and profile avatars super clean without complex backend file-handling code. I also really appreciate the main dashboard's real-time Usage Overview—being able to clearly monitor our 30-day image impressions, transformations, bandwidth in megabytes, and total storage against our 25-credit monthly allowance at a single glance makes tracking resource consumption completely transparent. Automatic format optimization like WebP and AVIF delivery keeps media loading fast on mobile browsers too.

Image management/CDN for our Adobe Commerce site is relatively seamless once the integration bugs were worked out. Having a pre-built integration available from the marketplace was helpful.
