It does a very good job of this, making it a solid and wonderful product for inventory management. The product team appreciates this feature a lot. Additionally, the initial setup was easy for us. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** As a CRM, it completely misses customer data. It's unreliable. It crashes, and it's slow. **What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Acumatica for tracking sales, orders, and inventory. It serves as the source of knowledge for our sales. Too complex to train accounting staff on. Expensive to try to get support. User-created reports are difficult. Does not meet standard accounting processes. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** Not user friendly, difficult to understand process flow, help screens that were probably written by a professor in quantum physics, standard accounting functions are convoluted and not typical of accounting software. **What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?** More like what problems is it creating. Not impressed at with Acumatica - This review won't allow me to upload a screenshot. **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022 **What do you like best about Acumatica?** Selecting favorites is easy. That's about it. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** 1) Forecasting Revenue - Acumatica should calculate the forecasting automatically. When entering the percentage, it should calculate the dollars and vice versa. 2) Billing Retention - Acumatica should create one AIA document for retention instead of a separate entry for each prior billing that has to be released. On large projects, it's easy to lose track of which line items need to be released. Acumatica does not provide an AIA Retention Billing - that's messed up. 3) AIA form - The AIA document is not formatted correctly, so we never use it. Instead, we use an excel form outside of Acumatica. 4) When drilling down into the costs within a task or committed cost, you can't see the vendor name of what was purchased, just a PO or subcontract number. No one wants to open each line item and drill down further to get all the vendor names. We should be able to pick the task code, drill down and get a list, including the vendor/supplier name, dollar value, PO/subcontract #, etc. Right now, we only see the description, dates, Qty/$$, APBL# - can't even open the APBL # listed. **What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have not heard of any Acumatica solutions to correcting the revenue forecasting, the AIA formatting, creating one AIA document for retention or better drill down features. **Official Response from Kim Plank:** > Thanks for sharing your feedback on Acumatica Construction with the review on G2. Acumatica Review **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2020 **What do you like best about Acumatica?** Acumatica has potential to be good and give good information but it isn't quite there yet. I like the idea of accurate job costing in the Constrution Edition but have not yet benefitted. All available reports on Jobs only give costing for the life of the job. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** Payroll module has multiple problems. Reports are minimal, can only be viewed by paycheck and are difficult, if not impossible, to manipulate in Excel. There are no Inquiries which would be much easier to manipulate in Excel. There is no functionality to process a final check - to do so requires the user to contact customer support and explain to the customer support person (because they typically don't know payroll) what needs to be done. Interface with Aatrix does not work for filing government reporting. If you make an error they are difficult to reverse. When processing AP things need to be released 3 different times. Writing reports and inquiries is difficult for a user. Even software engineers have trouble. Therefore getting the information you need OUT of Acumatica is extremely tough. **What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are new to Acumatica and so far have not solved any problems. It is not user friendly or intuitive. I majored in accounting not coding. Your Help feature is like learning another language. **Recommendations to others considering Acumatica:** Go somewhere else. **What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?** No benefits have been realized. Problems are worst. I have to do everything manually. I do not enjoy using this product. **What do you dislike about Acumatica?** The amount of user errors this system allows is very high. I do not find this product easy to use. The search functions are atrocious. **Recommendations to others considering Acumatica:** I would not recommend this product at this point in time.
