Once the template is set up, it's just a matter of opening the Excel file and refreshing the data, and any changes made in our ERP system automatically flow through. It's great that I can refresh files to get accurate data without having to export multiple reports to Excel individually. I particularly appreciate that our templates auto-refresh so nothing needs to be exported from Acumatica. The writebacks are extremely valuable too, as they save us a lot of manual entry time. The setup was quite simple as well—I had a working model within a day and felt proficient within a few weeks. **What do you dislike about Velixo?** I wish there was a GL template that could be set up in Acumatica that would automatically make updates to the Excel files. For example, when we added the project number and quantity columns to Acumatica, they were not automatically added to every instance of a GL in Excel. We had to manually add the two columns to approximately 50 files. I wish it would connect to Microsoft Dynamics CRM too. **What problems is Velixo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Velixo transforms Acumatica from static to dynamic, automating data refreshes and saving manual entry time. If your reports do not automatically add your new accounts, it is likely account codes were manually entered in the report instead of using a dynamic function. Just note that Generic Inquiries would still be needed for the more complex queries with advanced relationships or calculations. I'm excited to see what other time I can save. **What do you dislike about Velixo?** So far, I haven't found anything I don't like about it. I suppose it isn't the most intuitive to a non-tech-oriented person like myself, but Velixo provides a lot of helpful resources to get over this hump, and we've got someone on our team who is super helpful in bridging the gap for me as well. I also don't know a way to make it simpler while still keeping the great functionality it has. **What problems is Velixo solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem it's solved for me right now is my ERP not presenting all the data I need in a way that I find helpful. The ability to use excel as my base for Acumatica has been a time saver and made the learning curve much easier. **What do you dislike about Velixo?** My only complaint about Velixo used to be that I had to rely on GI’s in Acumatica to gather the data I needed. The recent query feature has really changed that for me. At this point, I don’t have any real dislikes. As a result I am not as much of a daily user of Velixo as others in the company. I do however still use it and I am the only "admin" for it. Basically, if the team needs a new report or way to use Velixo, it's me they look to to create it. As a result, I feel uniquely equipped to speak to its value as both a user and someone who configures its use for others. Our team is much more familiar with Excel than any ERP. As a result, Velixo gives them data in a format they are already familiar with and know how to use. What I like best is how all of that connects to the true power of Velixo, which is a live connection to our Acumatica database. We don't have to struggle through dated reports because we can pull the data in as it updates through Velixo. That provides flexibility that is more difficult to create natively in Acumatica. **What do you dislike about Velixo?** The only thing I would like to see "improved" or even just added as a feature is a change the Drilldown function. Currently, the Drilldown pulls up another sheet, but rather than just pull in a list of the transactions or relevant data, it hyperlinks to Acumatica. This is fine. You get to the data. But you have to go into Acumatica to see the data you really want. And then you have to export back to Excel if you want to re-arrange it in any way. It just feels like extra steps that could be reduced. **What problems is Velixo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Velixo solves a number of problems for us. But the biggest is live data. As I mentioned before, having data update in real time as opposed to having to export data to run reports is remarkably valuable. It's huge for us. We've used it handle our monthly income statement report. We have sheets for MTD, YTD and Rolling 12. It's amazing to be able to set up a parameters page, let Velixo formulas drive the data and enable each team to get their data as needed. Plus, they can obviously look at different versions of the data with different variables. All without someone having to run a new report. For me specifically, as someone who handles lots of system admin tasks for Acumatica, it's fantastic to have a tool people already know how to use. Not having to spend time training users on how to get the data in Acumatica or honestly even set up a dashboard for them frees up a lot of my time. Velixo doesn't really do anything you can't do in Acumatica. But it does provide a meaningful and near instant way for users to do it without requiring the knowledge of how to configure data in Acumatica. It's flexible. It's real time. And it's familiar. So, what does it solve for us? Well, it empowers our team to be able to get the data they need. Reports are professional looking, easy to keep updated saves me HOURS every month so I don't have to export data, reformat it and then analyze. If I need some quick information Velixo is the first place I look to get it, I go to Velixo daily, maybe even more often than Acumatica. And the distribution feature is the best - saves so much time and automatically changes the parameters on my reports to distribute to the correct department. It's super easy to implement and get up and going immediately. One feature I really like is the quick refresh; it’s easy to connect to our system, and the refresh only takes a few minutes, even with larger data points. I find the setup for connecting my login to be very user-friendly and easy to train others on. **What do you dislike about Velixo?** I wish that it would give us the ability to populate data from our custom UDFs, we have many on our stock/non-stock items and having that information would be valuable in our reports. Right now I still have to populate those manually.
